Winter will be here before we know it

I’m switching gears from a fall scene earlier today to a winter scene this evening to feature this cute little winter outfit for the little ones in Second Life. It’s from BabyBurp and available at Penumbra Autumn/Winter Fashion show this week.

To complete my scene I am also showing this cotton candy car by Mushilu that is currently at Tres Chic and can be found in a few colors. The bench is a collaboration between Shutter Field and Decor Junction. If it looks familiar it’s because I showed a rustic version a few days ago.

I’ll probably be doing a short post a little later to also once again mention the upcoming Draftsman event that will be launching in mid November.

You will be seeing little me here a bit more as she is once again participating in Penumbra Fashion Week. This time it’s the Autumn/Winter show and today she’s wearing a complete outfit by Sweet Tots. It’s better than being cooped up inside the house

It’s been a while since I’ve brought the little one out and this weekend past was a lazy kind at my house so I had time to indulge. She’s participating in the PENUMBRA Autumn/Winter 2016 Fashion Week so you’ll see her a little more around the middle of next month.

Today she’s wearing a cute outfit by Buglets that is currently available at Color Me Cute. There are 4 options to choose from and each comes with 2 dress options & a HUD with 12 shirt options.

Take my hand and never let go

Thank you everyone for blessing and enriching me with your comments in some of my blog posts. It’s always very nice to read what you have to say, even it’s a simple hello sometimes. It’s encouraging to me as I continue to explore this world of blogging.

While I like to see picture blogs too… personally, I love to read stories shared from both worlds, as they offer a glimpse of you, the writer, your personality, the real person that sits behind the screen who shares their joys, sorrows or what inspires them in their pictures and every day life.

Today I am not blogging for anyone specifically, as the last days have been rather busy for me that I didn’t have much time to do any photos for the weekend. This picture has been in the making for a while now. I was shopping one day when I spotted this dress for little me, which is quite authentic to my Mexican heritage. I couldn’t resist buying and knew that I wanted us to take a picture together. I hadn’t really looked since then, which is probably now a good few weeks, and not seen anything until now when I found this top I’m wearing at a recent event.

After a few crashes for dual logging here is the final result.

It’s been a while since little me has been in the spotlight, so I thought it was due time. She’s a cute little thing and she still makes me laugh just watching her jump and down. She also likes to have fun if you take her out and that’s exactly what I had the other night. A friend invited me to a men’s shopping event, and well little me is not going to pass up an opportunity to go stomping on toes. It’s especially fun with the ones who go walking around bare footed. She happily spins and goes on her merry way to another poor fellow who just happens to get in her way.

Now to what I am wearing today. I’m featuring this cute dress and goggles by Buglets. The top and bottoms are mesh and are available in several light colors and are now at the main store.

The goggles, are for swimming and are also available in a few colors. Each color comes with a plain and diamond version. You can find them at the Hello Beautiful, a kids event that started yesterday and will go through the end of the month.

Battle of the Bear Bands

I was happily surprised when I opened up the blogger package of bears from BoOgErS for the upcoming round of The Arcade that starts on June 1st, because of what they represent. It’s musical bear bands.

You see my father was a musician and his love of music was profound. It was his passion. He played the accordion since he was just a young kid. In his last years my dad still played every now and then with local groups and I recall one or two times where he participated in events where they had battle of the bands. I don’t think he cared much about winning.. for him it was just doing something he loved.

Today is the anniversary of his passing and so I brought little me out to play the accordion in remembrance of him. As you can see I suffered a little stage fright.

The Arcade opens June 1st and if you want to get all the latest news, visit their website here.

The band bears gacha will be 25L per play. There are 15 commons, 2 rares, and 1 reward, which is something new. You can get details on the player reward system on their website as well under news.

The other new thing with this June round is that there will be two identical Sims to shop from and two identical homestead sims to cam shop from.
