Happy weekend!! I’m totally being lazy today.  I have no real plans, other than to catch up with a few friends and do nothing.

Today’s picture is a sneak peek at one of the items from Deco(c)rate.  The rainy day cabin is by [Schultz Bros.] and its fantastic.  It’s got a few features like the chimney smoke that you get by clicking on it.  You can also click and hold for a couple seconds the front or back exterior of the cabin to get the texture menu, which gives you six colors to choose from. It’s only 37 land impact, so great if you’re watching prims.  There is still time to pre-order as the crate comes out tomorrow; check out the details below and the Deco(c)rate link for more information.

I didn’t take any pictures of the interior, but it’s super cozy and I’ll probably use it in a coming soon post.

Hello again.  I was in such a rush this morning, that I didn’t get to write anything about what I was showcasing.  I started my morning with rolling over in bed when my phone went off around 6 am with a message from a friend who forgets we are 6 hours apart.  I am not one to turn off my phone at night.  As one of the oldest in my immediate family it’s a given I’m one of the first in the call list in case of an emergency.   I’m also trying to break the habit of reading the news right before bedtime.  Guess I need to work on it a little more.  Though I now have two new reading glasses, one for backup just in case.

Today I’m featuring some fabulous goodies.  The Garden shed by Mesh India is a really pretty building. I will be showing it on its own in the next few days.  You can find it at the new round of Cosmopolitan.  Anhelo has made a beautiful teapot set with a picnic basket called Dolce.  Everything about this set just brings a smile as it brings fond memories of years gone by to memory.  It is available now at Uber.

Hello everyone!! I hope you’re off enjoying the weekend… as for me I tried to sleep in late. It didn’t work.  Those days are past when I can stay in bed beyond a certain hour.  Though its a long weekend for me since Monday is a holiday, even if it’s more than likely I will go into the office for a few hours just to catch up on some work between now and Tuesday.

Country scenes are one of my favorites to do and so I really enjoyed putting these pictures together using items from all the creators/designers listed below. You have to love SecondLife for this very reason. The ability to create the kind of life you might like for yourself even if its for a day, week, month or however long you like. My scenes go up and down within hours, but every minute of creating them and immersing myself within these scenes gives me a lot of joy and sparks my creative juices even more.

Happy Saturday everyone!  It’s a quick post, but I’m excited to show the bonus reward for DRD’s monthly Shadow Box subscription.  For those of you who don’t know about this, it’s a monthly mystery box that contains 12 items, usually half in a light version and the other in a dark more sinister type version.  Every month is part of a series, which is 6 months.  At the conclusion of a series and if you’ve purchased each series or all shadow boxes then you will receive a bonus reward. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Every quarter a new subscription of the Builder’s Box is released and this quarter the theme is Christmas Village, which is just in time to help you decorate and celebrate Christmas in Second Life.

Since it’s a little early for snow for me plus I’m not ready to leave the Autumn weather behind I choose to decorate in this season instead. I’m featuring the Selah Church by Spargel & Shine Homes, who has given us the option of having this building with or without snow. It carries a land impact of 81 and with just a click of the switch on the inside near the front doors it brings up the menu that allows snow on the roof and on the ground surrounding the church.

To complete the scene I am using the Valkenberg Wall Set by N4RS, available now at FaMESHed. It comes with a few pieces to help you build your own wall set to fit your needs, whether its just a small section near your home or if you want to enclose your whole surroundings.  The set also includes a park bench and street light.  I’m also showcasing the old memory bicycle by DaD Design, also available at FaMESHed. The bicycle is available in two versions, one as shown and the other a winter edition. It has a land impact of 6, with the winter version at 10 and each comes with single and couple poses.
