Quiet place to gather your thoughts

Happy weekend everyone! I think that perhaps I’m finally making a turn for the better getting over my cold.  It hasn’t kept me down, so that’s a good thing.  Today I’m blogging two home and garden events.  The first is Illuminate that started just yesterday and will run until June 13th.  This month I’m really excited as a friend recently started to learn mesh and is debuting his first home and garden creation with this greenhouse and bridge.  I’m so thrilled for him and look forward to supporting his work and his upcoming store Hometown.

Today the Home Expo started and will run until June 2nd.  Lots of home and garden stuff that you normally wouldn’t see at current events.  There is a lot of long time creators and new ones participating.  This event is to support Relay for Life of Second Life, so definitely go check it out.

I came home early from work and slept straight for several hours and it felt like some of the best sleep.  Hopefully, it won’t have me up all night, but in the meantime it allowed me to create this scene to showcase some of the fantastic ‘Mojave Dreamin‘ gacha decor by ..::THOR::.. for this upcoming round of Kustom9 that opens tomorrow.

I am also featuring his Mojave refuge and sign currently at 6 Republic.  Included in this post are the planters by chiC buildings, that will be at the upcoming Home & Garden Expo that opens on May 19th through June 2nd.  This year marks the 11th annual run for this event, one of the major fundraisers for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL), a virtual version of the real life fundraising event Relay For Life, that raises funds for the American Cancer Society.

Great game on tonight

Morning!! The long awaited 6º Republic Event opens its doors today at 12 noon, SLT, which for me is an additional +3 hours, making it 3 p.m. eastern time zone.  Lots of great stuff this round!!

The theme is USA Freestyle and so every designer/creator got to pick whatever part of the USA they wanted to represent.  Some mention and others don’t.  In this case the decor from KraftWork is representative of Puget Sound, which is a coastal area of the Pacific Northwest in the state of Washington. Kosmii decor is Florida and Balaclava skybox has a desert scene or lake view, so could be a few places.

The ragdoll cat, which is big and fluffy is the newest collection by JIAN out now at FaMESHed.  I’m also showcasing a few gacha items at The Gacha Gardens from Yokai, Bang! Vinyl and Llama, Inc., all listed below.
