Lets sit a while

One of the things that I knew would be different when I moved to the central part of the state of Florida, was that the weather would be much cooler come this time of year. It’s a welcome change even though it’s going to take some adjusting to and it means drinking more hot cocoa and tea.

Having a coziness outfit like this sweater and jeans combo from ArisAris/B&W is perfect for this kind of chilly weather. These are available at the current round of On9. You can also find these wrap bootie shoes that are from Garbaggio as well as the glasses from The Oak. The jewelry worn is by SPELL and it’s from their Gaya Gacha at The Chapter Four. I’m also showing the newest hairstyle by enVOGUE, called Mindy, which is available at the main store.

Today’s home decor is by a few creators. I’ll start with ancient yew globe, which is the rare item that’s part of the Gaya Gacha by SPELL at The Chapter Four. The windmill and all it’s furnishings are by [Schultz Bros.], and it’s just a few pieces of their Dam! Dollhouse Gacha at 6 Republic.

The oak book rack, commode and plant holder is from ChiC buildings and are available also at On9. The pose I’m using is from K&S Poses and it can be found at thier main store.

Participating in the upcoming LTD Event that opens on June 10 with a new modular minimalist styled living set is [ARIA]. Residential Room 143

The [Den.] has released a new full mesh residential building that has a land impact of only 39. I love these low prim homes as it leaves you with plenty of prims to decorate it. This is a wide open model with plenty of space to decorate too! It is materials ready and has built in lighting with a sliding door and is copy and mod in case you wish to make any changes to suit your needs.

I’ll be home for Christmas…

This year it’s been amazing the amount of Christmas decorations that were available, between hunts and events. Such cute stuff that I just cannot help myself when it comes to decor stuff. Then I realized that I had a small dilemma. There was no way I could use everything I managed to acquire in such a short time as my small parcel of land was pretty much out of prims.

I shuffled around with the idea of getting a homestead and in a spur of the moment decision I went for it. Totally blame my constant changeable mood of late. It’s a bit of an extravagance, though I have enjoyed myself tremendously with decorating for the holiday season. These are just a few pictures of some of the rooms in the house and cabin.

Now having had the homestead for just under two weeks it reminds me of the previous time I had a homestead and how much I enjoyed that experience. In over a week all the Christmas decorations will come down just like in real life. It is always fun putting it altogether, then once the Christmas holiday is over it’s a bit of a drag putting things away and not to mention that my inventory is already in shambles.
