I am back home as of this afternoon and ready to play a little catch up from the days I was not able to post.  It was nice to get away and not have much of an agenda. Even though it rained practically every day it gave me ample time to hang out with family and friends and catch up on sleep too. Though it’s nice to be back to familiar things.

I’ve probably only attempted to play tennis in real life maybe once or twice when I was much younger and it wasn’t a sport that I took to.  I can only sit and watch it for so long, though it’s the same with most sports.  My attention just seems to wander off during sports games.

Today I am showcasing a few items in this scene/various pictures being shown. I really like seeing collaborations between designers and this is one of those times when everything is just marvelously done.

The tennis court set by DaD Designs comes with red/green clay tennis court, the metal fence kit modular system, the umpire chair and single and couple poses.  You can find this set at Shiny Shabby until May 15th and also get more details below credits.

Then you have Astralia who provided some of the accessories — tennis bleachers, umbrella and chairs, tennis balls basket, tubes and decor balls as well as the tennis rackets in different colors.  You can find this set at Shiny Shabby as well.

The tennis dress I am wearing is by Dead Dollz and available in a few colors and can be found at the main store.  While not featured, but part of the collaboration are Gabriel who has tennis outfits for men at Shiny Shabby and poses by RK Poses at their main store.

This blondie just can’t handle a loss…she’s so competitive!!  We started with posing using the Chloe & Odette pose by Ilaya at Pose Fair 2017, except Lotus started to move her face and arms and I took a snap as she was playing around.

If you’ve made it into Collabor88 this round you know the theme is all about fitness and unKindness has a yoga studio that is just fabulous to get your bums in shape. I seriously love this yoga mat. I went through all the animations it has to offer and it really has some awesome yoga and exercise animations that are smooth and flow easily with your avatar. It was hard to choose one to take a picture with, but this particular one won out as I thought of how it would feel to even attempt it in real life. I don’t know. I’m not trying it any time soon. It makes me feel sore just looking at it!

Most of the items pictured are from the set including those neon signs of stud angel or stud devil.  I know — decisions decisions, but how about one of each? The bodysuit that I’m wearing is from {Luxuria}, which is an applier system and can be found at this round of The Liaison Collaborative.

I’m switching gears from a fall scene earlier today to a winter scene this evening to feature this cute little winter outfit for the little ones in Second Life.  It’s from BabyBurp and available at Penumbra Autumn/Winter Fashion show this week.

To complete my scene I am also showing this cotton candy car by Mushilu that is currently at Tres Chic and can be found in a few colors.  The bench is a collaboration between Shutter Field and Decor Junction.  If it looks familiar it’s because I showed a rustic version a few days ago.

I’ll probably be doing a short post a little later to also once again mention the upcoming Draftsman event that will be launching in mid November.

Tropical summer heatwave

Memorial Day here in America has been known to sort of unofficially mark the beginning of summer, which is around the corner on the 20th of June.

If you have noticed the change of the seasons is also happening here in Second Life as well with the summer fashions coming out, especially swimwear.  To help you plan your summer wardrobe the Tropical Summer Fair will start on June 3rd and run through June 17th to get you started.

I’m wearing the Kreso bikini by {JAS} that is available in 15 different colors and made to fit the Maitreya, SLink and SLink Hourglas version.  The necklace is by CODEX and comes with a color texture hud to change it to the color you want. The tropical jewerly by Izzie’s compliments it well and also comes with a color texture hud to accessorize it to your liking.

Both poses utilized will also be available at the upcoming tropical summer fair. The pose in the first picture is by Reel Poses and is complete with the Weimaraner dog standing next to you.  There will be some couple poses available as well so make sure you check them all out.  The second picture the pose used to show the jewelry much better is by EverGlow called sunshine and it’s a set of 10 poses for you to enjoy posing with.

Preparation for the Easter Bunny

The topic of Easter has come up in some of our family gatherings many of times as we talk about how certain holidays are treated in America. While most know that Easter is a day in which the resurrection of Jesus Christ is celebrated, in accordance with Christian belief, it is not what most people talk  of.

It’s mostly about the Easter bunny, the chocolate eggs and the Easter basket full of treats for the kids. I am not implying that we forget what this holiday means or that it’s not celebrated in some way like going to a church service.  It just means it’s not an in your face topic of discussion for the most part.

With 9 nephews and 4 nieces who are now well over 18 I’ve had my share of contributing to the Easter basket.  Some of them have children now and well they’re on their own!

As the month ends another begins and that means new rounds of most monthly events.  The All The Little Things is one of the events that is kid based in Second Life.  This round will begin on March 1st 12 noon SL time and run until March 21st 10 pm SL time.   Lil me is wearing a cute lady bug outfit by Monkey Pox that is the rare item in the Ladybug Love gacha.  There are 2 rares that come with bows, shoes and wings and 7 commons that comes with bows.

I’m wearing top and pants from MoDANNA that are currently available at the anyBody event that will end tomorrow.  They should be at the main store after the event is over. The Joie Collection has 6 color satin tops and 5 colors for the pants.  It is made to fit some mesh bodies and classic.

The pose I am using is called Mommy’s Joy and is available at the All The Little Things event. Make sure you check out the rest of the great poses from this creator.
