Happy weekend everyone! I think that perhaps I’m finally making a turn for the better getting over my cold.  It hasn’t kept me down, so that’s a good thing.  Today I’m blogging two home and garden events.  The first is Illuminate that started just yesterday and will run until June 13th.  This month I’m really excited as a friend recently started to learn mesh and is debuting his first home and garden creation with this greenhouse and bridge.  I’m so thrilled for him and look forward to supporting his work and his upcoming store Hometown.

Today the Home Expo started and will run until June 2nd.  Lots of home and garden stuff that you normally wouldn’t see at current events.  There is a lot of long time creators and new ones participating.  This event is to support Relay for Life of Second Life, so definitely go check it out.

I came home early from work and slept straight for several hours and it felt like some of the best sleep.  Hopefully, it won’t have me up all night, but in the meantime it allowed me to create this scene to showcase some of the fantastic ‘Mojave Dreamin‘ gacha decor by ..::THOR::.. for this upcoming round of Kustom9 that opens tomorrow.

I am also featuring his Mojave refuge and sign currently at 6 Republic.  Included in this post are the planters by chiC buildings, that will be at the upcoming Home & Garden Expo that opens on May 19th through June 2nd.  This year marks the 11th annual run for this event, one of the major fundraisers for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL), a virtual version of the real life fundraising event Relay For Life, that raises funds for the American Cancer Society.

Town of believers

Morning! I’ve got lots of pictures today to showcase everything shown on this first picture.  Now in certain parts of the USA it’s not uncommon to see a church in each corner of an intersection or every block down a town street.  When I was growing up I lived in a town that had more churches than schools.

Everything shown minus the bit of landscaping is home and garden decor available at 6º Republic.  The two chapels are by N4RS, which is the second picture and {moss&mink}, the one behind the big hilly rock.

Not So Bad brought us Texas with the farmhouse, water tower and windmill and a lot of the country decor you see.   Next to the house is a patio and decor by Artisan Fantasy that brought us New Mexico, beautiful rich colors that blend well with everything else.

The guitars in front of the house are by Serenity Style, which are part of her Musicland set representing Nashville.  One of the guitars was taken from a grouped set of 3, so you won’t find it alone.

I’ll be showcasing a couple more pictures on this event in the coming days.  Until then have a great one!

This southern style beach house will fit within the boundaries of most 2048 sq.m. lots. It is spacious inside and features an open floorplan on the first floor which will allow you to incorporate a kitchen easily into the great room. The entrance area may be used as a seating or dining area.

The second floor features a master suite and second bedroom, both of which have access to their own covered porch (this home features 4). There is also an extra room on the second floor which may be used as an office, bathroom, nursery, or small bedroom.

The home has an LI of 190 and is copy/mod/no transfer.

There are so many events it can be overwhelming at times.  I try and wait until after the first week at least.  It’s quieter and easier to get into and lets you enjoy the shopping experience a lot better.  If you haven’t already made it over to Bloom, now is the time to go as this event will end at the end of the month.  There are some amazing home and garden decor items to be found, like this umbrella and blanket by DaD -Virtual Living-.  It’s available in both pg and adult and can be found in 3 colors.  It’s a gorgeous piece to have in your spring garden or even for the coming summer months.

The rest of the decor is by Cheeky Pea, and its Faith gacha out now at the Epiphany. You really can’t go wrong with any of the pieces you get, as they can be used together or in other decor settings.
