One of the joys of motherhood

Happy Friday everyone!

It’s Mothers Day on Sunday so today I am showing one of the breakfast trays that Aphrodite Shops has available to help you honor and celebrate your mother in-world. This version is for a mom and two kids and has some great animations and attachable props to enjoy the food when you surprise her in bed. Lots of other items to choose from if breakfast isn’t your thing.

Little me is drinking chocolate milk in a sippy cup by *BoOgErS* that will be available starting on May 15th at the Color Me Cute event as a gacha item. There are 12 cups in the set with no rares just commons.

The bed that we are on is actually made for a couple. It’s made by Mistique and is available at the main store. It comes in a few colors and each has 20 couple animations.

I am showing one of the four available colors of the hanging rattan chair by HJM Designs. The chair is their item at the Perfect 10 Event that started on the 1st and goes through the 15th of the month. The chair is equipped with 23 single and 6 couple animations. It’s mesh and only 4 prims land impact and a great price of 80L at the event.

Last and certainly not least are all these kittens by Jian. Today for Fifty Linden Friday you can grab this kitten scratching post for 50L. It’s a cute decor item that on touch you can change the texture of the post, kittens and feathers. The other two kittens on the pillows are for Midnight Madness. It’s a unique event that is time specific and limited quantities. Preparation for another day

Are you waiting anxiously for the new round of the Arcade? The trading chats are starting to buzz again as people prepare their lists.

Today I am showing the Bella Glamour Room Collection items from [ARIA], who is participating in this round. The complete collection consists of 3 rare items and 12 commons. The rare items include the vanity table, chaise, and chandelier. The common items include the vanity mirror, vanity stool, mirror & makeup bag, perfume tray, jewelry boxes, and vase with roses as well as the faux cowhide rug, side table, book pile, teacup, vase with single rose and framed prints.

There are texture options for the chaise and rose vases while the chaise and stool come with singles animations and some with attachable props. I’ve listed the items in the collection at the bottom.

I am also showing a sneak peak of one of the bears by BoOgErS called the Mother’s Day Bears Cuddle. I will be showing more bears very soon, but I couldn’t resist putting in one in today’s post.

The Home & Garden Expo is still ongoing. I’m showing the elegant chairs that have 9 animations and table from HJM Designs. There is a vase with flowers that is part of this set not shown. You will some other sets that go with this collection at the expo.

The orchid vase and arrangement is by Kaerri and is also at the expo. All these featured creators/designers have some wonderful home and garden decor and not just some of the donation items that benefit Relay For Life. They also have new releases to help decorate your home.

All this shown in the Expo Skybox, one of the new releases by aKa, at the Home & Garden Expo. Personally, I don’t do the skybox living, because I love having the ocean view and being surrounded by nature on the ground level. Though on occasion I have enjoyed them and especially those with city views.

Open for happy hour

Today I am featuring these modern bars by HJM Designs for the upcoming round of Perfect 10, a home and garden event that takes place at The Cookie Jar sim. The bars have a land impact of 8 and come with single and couple animations, one of which is a bartender as shown. You can find these bars in an assortment of colors at the event.

The other decor item that I am featuring is the lighted tree behind me with lace by unKindess and is available at the Wayward Winter event. This tree is part of the dark set, but you can find it in several wood tones.

The last item that I am featuring is the new hair by enVOGUE called Miriam. It is a cute bob with hat that comes with a Hud to change the color. You can find this new hairstyle at the main store.

I’ll be home with bells on

I think the bell on the wreath made me think of the song “I’ll Be Home With Bells On” when I looked at the picture this morning. It’s a holiday classic that still brings a smile and makes you want to stomp your feet. I am listening to it as I’m sitting here writing and starting to get energized.

I absolutely love the feel of a cabin as it conjures up an image of a large fireplace roaring with a warm fire and the idea of sipping hot chocolate all the while in long johns and fuzzy socks. Chuckles.

The complete Christmas living room set is by HJM Designs and is currently available at the Perfect 10 Event at the Cookie Jar. It comes with a rez system so it’s fairly easy to set up or you can just rez and move items about. It’s discounted at the event for half price at only $199L.

Splashes of color among the ruins

Doing a quick post to show a couple more home items that will soon be available at the Perfect 10 Event that begins July 1st and goes for 15 days. The first are the wicker chairs by HJM Designs that will be available in several colors and come with some lovely sits. Another item to help you with your landscaping needs is this among the ruins statue by An Lema, that if nestled among greenery in a garden it gives that sense of ethereal beauty.

Maybe you’re more towards brighter splashes of color like pastels. Then Little Branch has these trees in blue, pink and golden out now at the Shiny Shabby event. It’s the great thing about Second Life, is that you really can color your world any way you want to.
