I seem to always get blonde or dip dye hairs when I play hair gachas as was the case with this willow tree hair from Little Bones that I got at the Secret Affair event. Having started off as a redhead in SecondLife and then transitioned into browns/black hairs that felt more natural to me. Maybe I should consider my next major hair change to go blonde — it would save me lots of lindens that’s for sure.

This outfit really started off being pink as both the corset and feather pauldrons are texture change, except finding a bustier with the color to fit the rest of the combination proved to be a bit difficult so I switched to this ivory color. I see creative looks like this all the time on Flickr and I find them fascinating, so I am just playing to see what I can put together.

Hauling the loot home…

There were a few pirate outfits you could piece together with this round of the Fantasy Gacha Carnival from a couple or more creators. Due to the vendor not rezzing for one of those creators I ended up getting to this vendor and grabbing this pirate costume from !gO!. I absolutely love it and enjoyed putting it all together. I was not aiming for any particular color and was lucky enough that I didn’t have to play more than two extra times to get the complete set in one color. I could live with that.

Now time to haul my treasure home. Yep, we don’t mess around here. We mean business and take it all. 🙂

I always have good intentions of blogging things that I like and put together during the actual event. Then you know those unexpected things happen that get in the way. When that occurs, intentions while good, take a back seat. Though better late than never? I’ll just pretend it is. Some of the items were from the Fantasy Collective in April that can probably be found in the main stores now. Plus transferable items from a friend and fellow blogger, Sita Writer, which can also be found on market place from AleyMart for free. Everything is listed under credits.

“Not all treasure is silver and gold mate.” It includes the diamonds and emeralds too! It’s all good and dandy, until I landed in pirate jail and became bosom buddies with the Cap’n. He wouldn’t share his rum even after I sat there hearing all about his wild adventures in Second Life.

In my rush to get moving I closed down the profile after I made a copy of the statement, though I give credit to that nameless Second Life person who had this message in her profile picks.
