Showing a cute little outfit for this upcoming round of “All The Little Things” that will be based on the theme career fair. After another bout of losing inventory and clearing cache and getting some advice from the Firestorm support group — I made a decision to start to clean out my inventory to a manageable size. If I can manage not to buy too many things in the next week those 2,000 items I deleted today should make a small impact. Foolish thinking I know! Anyway, in that process of deleting stuff I started to clean out my night wear folder when I came across these yellow duckie slippers. You could say that’s how I came by my letter “Y” for today’s alphabet challenge. In that same folder was this yellow morning nightie from Greymoon. I was so happy to get my blog post done almost without any effort.

K & L is for… (challenge)

I am playing catch up today with the alphabet challenge doing both the letters K & L combined. For the first letter I decided to feature this green meadow yellow poppy grass from KIDD, one of my favorite places for landscaping stuff. Then featuring these tall and mature oak trees from Lilith Heart, another favorite place for landscaping items.

These horses are a purchase from today’s 30 L Saturday, they are a static herd of four horses at 8 prims. They are no copy, but for 30L a steal in my opinion. I couldn’t resist buying a few in the event I ever decided to get a ranch in-world again.

For my L letter I decided to feature poses from two stores, Label Motion and Lib Descent Poses and also these blue jeans from Lapointe & Bastchild. I could also count my letter as “landscaping”. 🙂

Reading the news…

Anymore reading the news is so discouraging and yet it’s good to stay informed about what is happening around the word as well as your individual locality. Though it’s always best to remember that news is often reported with a heightened sense to evoke the greatest emotion that sells. I have respect for the written word, but dealing with the news media in my professional career has definitely given me a new perspective on how news is reported.

Reading an actual newspaper would be somewhat of a novelty for me now since I read most of my news via the computer or my favorite gadget my trusty handy tool the iPad. Even in Second Life, it’s great that we have magazines that keep us informed. I love perusing blogs, though most only report credits and to keep up with what’s new in the fashion world, those blogs do well. Though I also love to read what inspires creations and the motivation behind a lot of what happens in this virtual world.
