There’s no place I rather be than home

When I got this skybox to blog the first thing that caught my eye was the design. My mind started to think of how I could decorate it, to create a living space without a big emptiness in the middle and keeping in mind the view from the windows. You can see it without the furniture below. That’s where I challenged myself to completely decorate it and hoping that I would have enough prim to do so. It’s mesh and the quality of the textures are very good. It’s by Dubu and available now at SaNaRae until October 18th.

The other items that are being featured today are some of the decor pieces in the room. Some of the plants on the table and on the stairs are by .aisling. and are available at the Fantasy Collective. There are two sets: the Mandragorae includes four versions with texture change via menu and Herbae includes three versions with texture change via menu as well. Each plant is only 1 land impact.

The vase in the table with twigs and the book near it sitting on top of some other books are by Serenity Style and at LTD The Event. Unfortunately, it is the last round for this event as it was unexpectedly announced to us yesterday. I’ve included vendor pictures of both the plants and the items by Serenity below credits so there is no confusion.

The remaining pictures with the one on top of this text and below are so that you can see the details and quality of the skybox.

My credits lists is huge and while I tried my best to stay in some particular order I might have gotten distracted and wandered from side to side as I copied and pasted. Morning everyone… well it’s morning for me here back at home in Florida. It’s good to be back to familiar surroundings, except I’m sick. On the last day before returning home over the weekend there was a torrential down-pouring and from the hotel to the car I got wet. It’s rare that I get sick by a little wetness, but by the next day being yesterday I had body aches, fever and a terrible sore throat. Today isn’t any better, but I’m going to try and forget that I’m sick.

Instead I am going to do my best to think clearly to get this post done. I’m featuring almost everything in this picture from ongoing events. The Tropical Summer Fair is coming to its last few days ending on June 17th. If you haven’t been… you really should as it’s got some amazing things for you to wear for the summer. The folding stool with sitting poses is by [CIRCA]. I know you can’t see the top of the stool, but it’s got a feathery design that fits any tropical setting. The handbag leaning against the stool is by Boutique #187, and is one of several designs and while I have it rezzed out, it’s also wearable.

This delightful braided hair is by enVOGUE called Estelle and is available in several color options. I’ve been growing out my hair in real life and over my holiday I flat ironed out my wavy tresses, but it was so hot that I ended up braiding my hair pretty much like this. It makes for a great summer hairstyle. This sexy bathing suit by PerveTTe is by applier and comes with the life saver tube. You can find it in other colors as well.

I’m also featuring a few items from On9. If you’re not familiar with this event, it’s a monthly shopping event that has a little of everything from apparel, hair, accessories, poses to home decor. It begins the 9th of each month through the 28th and besides an exclusive design by each of the designers participating there is a discounted one color item by each. There is a photo contest during this round, so visit the website here to get all the details.

To complete my outfit for the day the sunglasses are by Haysuriza and what I liked is the options available to wear them on your head or on your nose. The henna tattoo is by Nanika and went well with the red color I’m wearing. It’s also an applier and this is where it gets a bit tricky as my bathing suit is also by applier. I had to play with it until I was able to get both on, but it meant not being able to get fully the sides of the henna tattoo that are covered by the bathing suit.

The pose I used is by Amite and is one that is a part of the Ella set available. Other items from this event are the wicker chairs by New Church. There is an assortment of colors to choose from. I went with these two colors to complete my picture, and on touch you could change the color of the pillow. I choose to keep to the same color of the rest of the fabric, but the option is there if you want a little more color variety.

Besides items from the two events featured I am also showing some new things by DaD Designs. The double roman swimming pool currently available at Cosmopolitan. It’s a fantastic pool that has poses for single, couples and family. The Mediterranean palm trees also by Dad Designs are at the LTD The Event. The trees have wind effect and by touch you can turn on and off the wind, adjust the sound, and give access and also resize.

I didn’t intend for my post to be so lengthy… and now I’m tired all over again.

Today definitely calls for a Lazy Sunday

It’s going to be a lazy one for sure, but without sun as I had enough of that yesterday. It was scorching hot at 84°F and with humidity it always makes it feel even worse and I wasn’t exactly dressed for the weather.

Today I am featuring what lil me is wearing and posing with. The cute lemon tankinis by Buglets is currently at this months round of The Play Room. It’s a gacha item, there are six common colors for the tankinis and six common colors for the sandals. There is one rare, which is a texture change parasol that will match the color of your outfit. It’s not the one that I’m showing as this one belongs to the pose also by Buglets. It’s the Dance in The Rain gacha pose set available now at the main store.

I’m wearing a new tattoo by Endless Pain, available at 50 Shades of Lust event that opened today and will run until May 6th.

Featuring also this summer dock by unKindness that comes with single and couple animations and two versions of the dock, with and without rotation animations. It can be found at the LTD The Event.

This is a quick post as I have just enough time before I have to go out the door this morning. I’m showing this lovely morning glory spring set by [CIRCA], currently available as a gacha set at the Dreams Gacha Fair. I listed all the pieces used in the picture, but there is a few more pieces that complete the set. The sit pose I am using is not from the ottoman, but it is actually a pose by [evoLove], which is available at the newest round of GENRE.

I’m also featuring some landscape items by Little Branch. The wild grass and the white cherry blossom trees available now at the current round of the LTD The Event.

Home is a collection of things you love

Greetings everyone.

Today I am featuring this beautiful cottage by DaD Designs, available now at the LTD The Event that opened a couple of days ago. There are some great features that makes this home even sweeter like having 74 pre-loaded colors to customize the interior and exterior of the home.

The creator always gives such a detailed description of her creations and of the homes she designs with all the features. I have included them at the bottom so you can read all the details.

I’ve been enjoying the beach front atmosphere lately and there is a sense of peace that I find just sitting or standing and letting my mind wander and lose itself in the beautiful surroundings and the reflections of the water and the sounds of the waves.

I am very proud to present my latest creation “Sweet Dreams Cottage” 100% original mesh.

This Cottage comes included with two staircases and two large terraces. Inside includes a spacious living room, a kitchen, a study and a bedroom. With a staircase leading upstairs to the second level where the second living room is located with a corridor leading to the bedroom. In the bedroom there is another balcony with great view of the front.

“Sweet Dreams Cottage” is available in two versions: first version with high perfect pillars to be placed on the water; the second version is a single flight of stairs replacing the high pillars which sits perfectly on the ground.

I really like this single Victorian tower, which is the newest creation by DaD Designs for the upcoming round of the LTD The Event. It probably stems from my love of castles and too much reading of historical romance novels when I was younger.

I love when creators share the details of what inspired their creations and this tower is like the ones positioned on the lakes of Scotland to control the water level. It is 100% mesh and has a 31 land impact and has a large room, the staircase with a bridge 10 meters long.

It’s the perfect set up for a scene of dalliance with some dashing rogue. Don’t you think?

The LTD Event begins January 12th and will run until January 26th.

Eenie meenie miney mo

There are days and many here lately where I can be driven to drink. I’m just thankful that I’ve never been inclined to taking a drink to solve my problems. I’m not much of a drinker at all. I think I’ve mentioned this before on my blog a time or too. One glass of wine is enough sometimes to get me tipsy. Anything beyond that I’m in peril of my own tongue.

Even though it wasn’t planned this way. Tonight as I write this blog I am disposed to celebrate as I got to reconnect with a certain someone, who continues to be someone important in my life. I toast to the cherished bond we have. Cheers Italiano!

The luggage trolley I am sitting on is a new creation by unKindness and is currently available at the Love to Decorate Event, that will run from August 10th to August 24th. It comes in four versions: iron, silver, gold or bronze with custom made poses – two for men, two for women and two for couples. It’s a fun piece in my book.

I also want to share some of the goodies I just recently found. The Paris penthouse skybox I am using is from Barnesworth Anubis and is currently at Collabor88 for only 88 lindens! It’s a steal and makes for a fabulous starter home or for anyone who has limited prims to use or lindens. The other bargain and it really is a bargain! The remaining furniture minus the alcohol are from Apple Fall and can all be purchased for $0 lindens. I was surprised myself to find all these wonderful items for free. I went to the main store to find a pendent lamp, which is a group gift this month and couldn’t find it and then had to resort to area search. It was during that area search for a $0 linden group gift that I discovered the rest of the furniture. Except, the frame with the flower, which can be found right now at FaMESHed with his items this month.

If you look further you might find some other items at $0 lindens throughout the store and many items have also been reduced as well. Great time to shop at Apple Fall. The bottles and glass are from [kunst] and can be found at the main store.
