Far from home, but closer than ever

It’s a lovely Tuesday morning, despite it being 81°F outdoors and if you add the humidity on top of that it’s pretty uncomfortable for someone who isn’t used to the heat. I’m used to it. Preferably indoors with air condition and a refreshing drink. That reminds me that I have a mango to slice into later on.

How many people feel about Valentines Day depends on whether they are single or in some type of relationship. They either love or dread it and I’m sure there are a few out there that don’t pay it any attention at all. Though if you’re one of those that loves and you’re looking for some decor to create that special moment then Dreamscapes Art Gallery will help get you ready with plenty of decor and gifts to make that day very special.

I’m also showing another pug by JIAN, which is the rare one in the Love Pugs gacha at The Gacha Garden. While not shown the pug is sitting on a small stool. The pink teddy bear is one of the many bears that Aphrodite Shops has to also help you surprise that special one. The bowl of chocolate kisses is by Mesh India and it’s part of their Valentine gacha at Cosmopolitan. The echoes of another day and time

Happy weekend! I’ve been out and about running errands since early this morning and it’s cold out so I’m glad to be back indoors for a little while.

Today I am showing a new gacha by Lucas Lameth that is out now at this round of Shiny Shabby. The Valhallas Rest Gacha set is 10 pieces to collect in total and when I rezzed it out it gave me somewhat of a coastal feel so I thought to go all light with the rest of the decor for this scene.

I’m also featuring some more decor items from the Draftsman Event, the ottoman by Revival and sofa, clock and cabinet by Q-Essentials. Other than the house the rest is made up of all the gacha pieces by (luc) boutique.

Will you walk with me in silence?

It has been a chaotic week since having to make a quick trip out of town over the weekend past and while I got back sooner than I expected it just feels like my mind and body haven’t caught up.

I’m going to sneak in a fashion post before my originally planned decor post for today. I was a bit tired to put together the finishing touches on credits and the extra pictures so this one was the easiest to work with. I’m showcasing one of Wasabi Pills new hairstyles called London, which is out now at the Ultra Event. It’s short, sweet and stylish. The pearl necklace is a new release by Lucas Lameth and I thought it fit perfectly with this long dress by United Colors that is currently at Tres Chic. The necklace can be found at the (luc) boutique main store.

The dog is part of a pose by Fashiowl and it’s at the Tres Chic as well. I had to wear the pose as the sim did not allow rez, so it could be a little off from it’s original pose. There are about 4 poses with the dog.

Happy Sunday! My post is very short as I don’t have much time before I have to finish getting ready to leave town until Tuesday. I will not be posting until my return as I am not taking a laptop for the short duration.
