Are you all done with your Christmas decorating? I’m not. I don’t even have a house down right now. The momentum is building to create something with all these Christmas decorations that I’ve been showing. Maybe I will work on that this weekend. Maybe. I just desire to be foolishly free and unencumbered and have fun and enjoy myself again.

If you’re still looking for Christmas decor today I am showing some pieces from [CIRCA] that can be found currently for a few more days at the Color Me Project. The pouffe, bench and area rug and twig tree planter are in an exclusive winter blue color for the event. They will be discounted at 25%. If blue is not your color head on over to the store where you can find these items in another color or find plenty of other Christmas decor.

The Perfect 10 event is also now open for it’s December round and the tree candle trio on the console is by Kaya’s Ray of Sunshine that can be found in this color and several other festive Christmas colors.

Another day at home

The Perfect 10 Event is back with a new round on November 5th. I’m showing a preview of a few things you can find at this event. Dreamland Designs has a living room set that includes a cuddle and a lovers couch. I guess you can pretty much make out that the lovers couch has adult animations. There is also a chair that is included in the set, along with the rug, table and book tray.

The other set by this same designer is the fireplace with a few decor items including the antique clock that is not attached.

Even though my inventory groans every time I add more stuff to it. I still glance from time to time at hunts that have home decor. Plus I like showing items that can be found at a reasonable price, especially if you’re on a tight budget and still want to have some new items to refresh your home. The plaid pumpkins under the fireplace are from this cute shop I discovered a while back called The Artist Shed. The pumpkins are a sponsor gift, so visit the hunt web site as it will show you where these can be found. The birdcage is a full perm item from Surge for the Antique Grid Show Autumn Hunt. I’m using the version already textured. The fabric texture on the walls are from Clutter and is also an item for the Antique Grid Show hunt. These decor items cost from 1 to 10 lindens and keep in mind they are October hunts, so they will be ending soon.

New round of The Perfect 10 Event is soon upon us and today I am showing you a preview of some of the items you can find this month. The Summer’s Sunset Collection is by Finishing Touches, a home and garden store that has a little of everything for your home. The set consists of everything inside the gazebo including the gazebo itself.

You can’t go wrong with this set and it really has some nice features. The gazebo includes a menu that gives you several options to choose from to either display the curtains and lights, or just the curtains by themselves or just the lights or one off and the other on. That’s a pretty neat feature to let you create your own ambiance. Both chairs come with 20 single animations. I went through them all to select one and I must say that I was really impressed with the variety of animations. They not only looked very natural it really gave that feeling of being in the moment like this one I’m using. The chair with the fabric also comes with a menu to change the texture of the blanket. You have about 9 choices.

I loved the bowl with pears that is one of the pieces on the table. It’s something that I totally love in my real life, is always having a bowl of fruit in the house.

The Perfect 10 Event is always held at The Cookie Jar Home & Garden sim and runs from the 1st of the month to the 15th.

Splashes of color among the ruins

Doing a quick post to show a couple more home items that will soon be available at the Perfect 10 Event that begins July 1st and goes for 15 days. The first are the wicker chairs by HJM Designs that will be available in several colors and come with some lovely sits. Another item to help you with your landscaping needs is this among the ruins statue by An Lema, that if nestled among greenery in a garden it gives that sense of ethereal beauty.

Maybe you’re more towards brighter splashes of color like pastels. Then Little Branch has these trees in blue, pink and golden out now at the Shiny Shabby event. It’s the great thing about Second Life, is that you really can color your world any way you want to.

Decadence

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. It’s been raining lots here in my part of the world. While these summer thunderstorms don’t last very long they seem to come in with a vengeance at times. They make their presence known with their thundering rumblings and strikes of lighting.

It makes for a lazy afternoon and if you have to stay indoors then why not go for a little decadence. The Perfect 10 event is about to start in a few days and you can find this bench from Impertinences to help you if you’re so inclined to a little self-indulgence. You can find the bench in a brown or black wood that come with a texture change hud to change the leather of the seat that also has ten poses to choose from.

If you haven’t already joined the 21Shoe group then you’re missing out on some great group gifts. I’m wearing the latest gift that was provided by Kelpsydra, which are these stockings that come in three colors and are made to fit the Maitreya and TMP mesh bodies and also come with omega appliers and system layer. With this pose you really can’t see much of the violet boudoir corset I’m wearing, though it was only 50 lindens and if you hurry you can still find it today.

When I saw this set by Finishing Touches it brought back so many wonderful memories of a past family vacation when we stayed in a log cabin up in the smokey mountains. Even though I took this picture over the weekend it really fits the mood I’m in this evening. If it weren’t raining and the weather wasn’t so hot and humid most afternoons this would be the perfect set up for a relaxing evening. The Perfect 10 event just started today with some new home and garden decor. The natural tone wicker rose set by Willowinds is one of the items you can find during this round. The chaise comes with single and couple animations and the ottoman comes with single poses. To complete the set is the wicker basket and tray with drink and book.

The other item you can find at the Perfect 10 event is the wall set by Galland Homes. The set comes in individual pieces giving you the ability to design your own layout for whatever your needs may be. It can serve to surround your land or to make an enclosed area like the one I created adjacent to your home. It is a low impact mesh product, at 1 prim land impact for every two linked pieces.

The Perfect 10 event runs from June 1st to June 15th.

The abundance of Spring.

The May round of Perfect 10 is already on going as it started on the 1st and will run through the 15th. Though if you have not made it there yet, this furniture decor set by Finishing Touches can be found at the event. It’s in soft spring colors of pink, yellow, green and white. Personally, it’s a very cheerful set that makes you feel all bright and happy and those macaroons are delicious just looking at them.

My little owl friend just fit in perfect with this set and provided me with some amusement as I tried all the animations. It’s a great decor item for any child’s room and not to mention the fun it brings.

Little me is wearing this pretty headband and earrings by Buglets that are available now at the Hello Beautiful event. The headbands come in various colors as well as the earrings, which are gacha.
