I’m delighted to be showing one of the latest new releases by DaD Designs.  This Lilliput cabin is a simple one room building, but just gorgeous with all the windows, which you will see below credits the creators intention behind that idea.  The cabin is available in two versions — one with a deck that has single and couple cuddle animations and then one that can be placed on the ground.

The other item that I’m featuring is the window and bed frame clutter by ChiC buildings.  A bit of clutter can really make a home and adds a bit of realism, or makes for some great backdrop for photos. It’s available at The Draftsman Event, which is ongoing until February 17th.

I am very proud to present my latest creation “Lilliput Cabin” 100% original mesh.
This cabin was created by idea of building the entire facade from recycled windows, so this Lilliput Cabin gets plenty of natural light.

This small cabin is available in two versions:
Lilliput cabin with a deck and single & couple cuddle animations
Lilliput Cabin Ground

The version with animation includes:
*6 individual animations (for both sit)
* 11 couple cuddle animations
How to use animations:
1.move mouse on floor near big windows open : sit appear.
2.sit when appear and menu appear.

Happy Monday!! Or lets hope it is — the day is young or at least it is here.  I’m back again today with some more great stuff from the Draftsman Event.  It’s ongoing until February 17th, so you have time to go check it out if you haven’t already been.

I’m showing the Victorian outbuilding by Galland Homes, a creator of high quality prefab homes and furnishings since 2007.  The outbuilding is 100% original mesh that has a land impact of 28.  It is materials ready, copy-able and modifiable.  Great for your landscaping decor.

I’m also featuring the piano and stool by Kei’s that is available in both a pg and adult version. It’s available in a vintage finish and a wood, with a land impact of 8 for the piano and 1 for the stool.

Today I’m showing the Victorian Doll House by Pillows, which you caught a peek of the inside with my post yesterday.  It runs about 36 for land impact and it’s available in both a light and dark version and can be found at Draftsman.

The texturing of the house on the outside reminds me a little of my paternal grandmother’s home when I was growing up and we visited her home in Washington state.  It didn’t have a porch like this one, but did have some steps going from the front door. Her landscaping was always so pretty and there was always rose bushes of different colors, as she loved roses.  I didn’t use any here, but I added some violet poppies to give it a little color.

I absolutely love this “Once Upon a Time – Vintage School” gacha set, a newly released set by THOR for this month’s round of Chapter Four. Everything pictured minus the attic building and some stack of books are part of the set. There is a total of 45 items with 18 mini-sets, 3 rare and 1 reward. The rares are the table, chair and the blackboard and they all have animations. My favorite piece is actually the spinning top toy as I have one of these in real life that my eldest sister gave me, because she knows I have a love for old stuff.

The rustic attic is by Pixel Mode and it is another great decor item at this round of The Liaison Collaborative and was just perfect for creating this school setting. It has a land impact of 18 and it has a texture change floor that can be accessed by clicking the door.  Makes for a great one room home as well.

I’m also featuring the items that I am wearing. The hair is a relatively new release by enVOGUE called Giovanna and it’s available at the main store. The dress is another find at the Liaison Collaborative and it’s by Entice and available in several colors.  The Oyster heels/boot type combo are by Empire and are currently at Uber. I can never say enough that I love the concept of paying a slightly higher price for a 12-color Hud that you get when you purchase a pair of shoes from this maker. Plus the ability to mix and match on the different sections of the shoe.

Last item is the pose used, which is part of the “With My Baby” series from K&S Poses. It’s actually a modded version, as the original has the child facing you as you have your hands extended towards him or her. I just didn’t want to be the whole center of attention in this picture so I just un-linked them and turned her around.

I also want to thank my sister PB for helping me out with this picture.

We were having another cold spell where temperatures dropped into the chilly 30 plus degrees last night and it made me sort of lazy to jump into Second Life even though it was my 6th Rez Day. Instead I snuggled under covers and read.  This meant I didn’t take any photos to blog and then when I attempted to log in today I found that they were doing maintenance so login was disabled for some.

In short, I finally made it in-world to put this scene together, process the photos and mark down credits, which I am leaving you to peruse as it’s close to dinner time.

Well I close this year with this last picture saying goodbye to the old and hello to the new year.  While my avatar looks like she might be in a state of reminiscing I can assure you she is not.  I’m glad to see the back of this year that was filled with so much uncertainty, turmoil and craziness in the world and in so many of our personal lives as well.  There were good moments and for those I am thankful and grateful for and as for the rest that were not I say good riddance.

I also decided last night that there is no time like the present to do what I need to do like organize my inventory, so as of today’s post I will be on a blogging break for a week.  I don’t know how much I will get accomplished in that amount of time — hopefully with effort make a big enough dent to allow room for the new.

With that said I want to thank you all again for your readership, support and kind friendship throughout this year even if we have never run into each other in-world or met beyond the words and pictures we share in our blogs. May you have a safe and fun New Year!!

I had good intentions to take the week between Christmas and the New Year to organize my inventory a little.  It didn’t quite work out that way and it had more to do with not being in the right frame of mind to tackle such a project right now.  Though it needs to happen fairly soon as I am getting ready to tip a number I never expected to reach and it really amazes me that I am still able to function.

I finally got around to opening some more of my arcade purchases and used a few pieces to go along with this bedroom furniture that is part of the “Gold & White” Gacha set by Bee Designs. It should be available at the main store or will be in a few days.

I hope to get one or two more posts in before the New Year and maybe then take a small break.

Today I’m featuring a pop corky game by THOR that is available at the main store. It makes for a good Christmas gift for those who enjoy playing games. I included some information below credits on how to use this game.  Not pictured here is a brick wall that serves as a background that is part of the set.

You have two Game Modes.
You can select these clicking the barrel.
Touching the Barrel it will display a menu.

**Wild Mode : no turns, just throw the corks, the first player that reaches the target point wins.
**Turns Mode : Starting from the 1st logged player all player will throw and following the login order.
The 1st player that at the end of the turns reaches the target point wins.

Hover Text on the barrel will display the player points and turn.
Go Mouselook and hold left mouse button to charge throw power.
Min Power is 1, Max power is 12 .
Avatar will play a “charge” animation,
Point the Crossair in the desired position.
Avatar arms will be in “aiming position”.
Upon the right hand you will see the
|||||||||||| increasing till the maximum allowed (12).

Of course you can release the hold before it reaches the Max
to launch the corks at lower speed.

Once the left mouse button is release,
the avatar will play a throw animation, throwing the cork.

While flying the cork will leave a trail (it will vanish in 7 seconds)
to allow the players to see the the ballistic trajectory,
and adjust the aim in the following shots.

Touch the Barrel for menu ( just logged player will be able to display a menu )

** Select the Target Hit Point : 50 or 100
** Select : Reset to Reset the game
(Game will store anyway the game mode set in his long term memory)

I actually did this over the past weekend with my sisters dog as she traveled out of town for the day. Her dog is pretty tame and  is very content these days just to claim her space in the room and sit quietly.

In-world it’s a different story.  I can handle more than one.  These cuties I’m showing are the corgis from JIAN that will be available tomorrow at the Arcade.  There are 15 total with 12 commons and 3 rares with a 11% rare chance and $50L per play.

There is a new thing with the Arcade this round and that is the rewarding of loyal players who at 50 plays to the same machine will receive a reward.  JIAN’s reward is the kite flyer corgi, which has 5 different whimsical animal kite textures.

These are worn avatar companions. Right click and choose “Add” from your inventory.

━ Beach Towel Pup
This is a rezzed decor pup that you can also sit on and enjoy a day out on the beach. You can change your pose, as well as the textures for the towel, accessories and the corgi pup itself.

━ Drink Cooler Pup
This is a rezzed decor pup that when you click directly on the pup will dispense drinks for your avatar to sip on. You can also click the cooler lid to open and close it as well as click the cooler bottom to get a texture change menu for the corgi and cooler.

All rare pups should have options to turn sound and animation on or off, except for the sleepy pup which does not have sound. They should also have a resize menu to allow for shrinking or growing the size of your pup. Please note that resizing can affect land impact!

━ Wandering Pups
These pups are meant to be rezzed to let run around!
Drop them out on the ground and click them to begin. You will get options for radius, wander and sound.
Sound turns your pups’ barking on or off.
Radius sets the distance in which you pup can wander from the point where you turn it ‘on’.
Wander turns your pup ‘on’ and lets it run around!
Turning off wander on your pup should return it to its original starting position.

━ Companion & Held Pups
These are worn avatar companions. Right click and choose “Add” from your inventory.

Companions run along side of you. Held pups will attach to your arm (and can be swapped arms; they will automatically play the correct animation for either arm on attach) and doze, yap and kick.

All common pups should have options to turn sound and animation on or off. They should also have a resize menu to allow for shrinking or growing the size of your pup. Please note that resizing can affect land impact!
