Today I am doing a bit of everything from the fashion I’m wearing to the decor I’ve put together. It’s a long post and I apologize beforehand for not taking more pictures to break it up some. I’m showing a new long hairstyle by eXxEsS called Jaci available on market place and main store. In case you’re not familiar with her sets; A has 56 single-tones and B has 56 multi-tones. The sweater is one of 8 colors available at the Tannenbaum Holiday Market.
The decor is from the Draftsman and Arcade events. The chair, bench and table are by Shutter Field in collaboration with Decor Junction out now at Draftsman. There are two other tones available in wood and white apart from the rustic being shown. Land impact ranges from 1 to 4 and both the bench and chair have a handful of sit and activity animations. I think 8 or more is considered a handful don’t you think?
The hanging lights and lighted candle on the table are by Hive and are some of the commons in the Home-for-the-Holidays gacha at the Arcade. The adorable husky tangled in lights is by JIAN and it’s one of the rares in the set. Those yummy bagels on that plate on the table are by Mushilu and were from the recent passed Enchantment event. They got to me late so was not able to show them previously, but they should be now at the main store.
The remaining decor is the wine/beer set by Onedecor at Draftsman. I believe that you can purchase the pieces individually or in a full set pack. Also, just to note the wine bottles used on the shelves and also table with wine glass were just unlinked from the wine decor set and used for the scene. Go check out the event it’s ongoing until December 17th.
The scene was created using the Sunrise Beach House by ChiC building, also at Draftsman. I will be featuring it in a separate post as I didn’t have enough time to get all this done to show it together.

I’m dragging a little today… so I’m way behind my own schedule. Today I am featuring several things, starting with these adorable wiener dogs by JIAN. It’s a second gacha set that will be available at the Arcade on September 1st. Showing only 2 dogs of the set, the naked and hot dog plus also showing the reward dog, which is the blue known as Habada the Pilot. There are 12 commons and 4 rares, with a selection of wanderer dogs or companion ones. All the pets include the 4 coat texture choices, resize, sound and animation menus. The reward dog includes both the companion and wanderer and you get the same features as the other dogs plus 7 plane color choices. Plus the dogs animates and barks as the plane hovers and propeller spins.
The scene is Sushi Monster food truck by Heart Homes, which is available at the new round of Creators Collection Box. The complete set comes with the tables, there are 46 animations total with 22 props and 2 sequences to make Sushi and Yakisoba. The Japanese lanterns are add-ons and available at the event as well.
I’m wearing the newest hairstyle known as the Ashley, by enVOGUE, available at the main store. The color I’m using is from the dark greys pack, but available in a variety of colors. The top is from Bender, it was available at the just passed On9 event, but you should be able to find it at the main store now. It also comes with a skirt, and in several colors.

My internet has been in and out since yesterday so I’m going to make it brief. I’m wearing a pencil skirt by MoDANNA, which is the group gift for this month. It’s a lovely sexy curvaceous dress as you can see. In the background there I am showing another daybed and footstool by unKindness currently at FaMESHed.

The valentine items shown are all subscriber gifts from La Galleria. This creator is very generous to her subscribers and really deserves kudos for that. Each week she has some gift that you can pick up somewhere at her store location. She has amazing furniture and homes that are quite detailed and realistic and you should go check her items out. My only problem is that I can only be on her sim for short periods of time before I start to lag considerably due to my slow internet and aged computer due to the high volume of items there.

WARNING: Due to influence of hormones I could burst into tears or xxx you in the next five minutes.
I’m literally exhausted today. These last few days have been so up and down for me emotionally feeling this nervous agitated energy that was very oppressive. I was thankful for managing to get through my long day yesterday of having to sit for almost five hours through the drudgery of a board workshop preceded by a meeting. If I weren’t so off kilter it would be just another meeting that I could breeze through despite the complexity of dealing with various personalities and having to make it all work for the good of whatever we are trying to accomplish. I never know which way those meetings will go as a lot is often dictated by people’s motivations and moods and don’t I know this very well.
I was telling some close friends that I have lunch with on a weekly basis that I seriously think I’m on the cusp of that life change. Pretty much knowing that the medication that I was previously taking could potentially throw me into that stage it is likely I am experiencing some effects of it. One of the women is about 2 years older than me and she’s experiencing her own case of symptoms so that we can share, laugh and have our eyes well up with tears and then we shrug and it’s time to get back to work.
The joys of womanhood and thank you for letting me share and vent.

I mentioned yesterday that if there is something I really like and want that I will spend the lindens for it. Though in most cases I might give it some thought before succumbing to that little voice that whispers in my ear get it now. Though with so many events and creators producing new releases at a record speed not to mention the quality of mesh being even better these days, lets face it we’re spoiled for choice if not lindens. I am sort of laughing as I think about gachas and I should have put a disclaimer that this does not apply to those gawd awful machines, especially the ones that don’t want to cooperate with you for that item you want. If you get down to adding the cost for all those pulls on the machine… we pay a small fortune for an item we might not have otherwise spent full price on it at the store. Guilty.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve also noticed that the price of stuff in Second Life has slowly been creeping up. No, I’m not about to go on a rant about this subject. I think the choice of what we buy and are willing to pay for items is a personal choice. It’s just an observation and it came to mind as I sat here writing this and thought of my waffling back and forth on purchasing a mesh body.
Given that 50% of the time when I am out shopping or anywhere on the grid I see all these mesh body parts all over the place it’s not the best incentive for me to want to have one. I realize that’s probably due to my internet speed more than anything and the rest of you don’t see the same. As for pros and cons there wasn’t much of an imbalance for me. The creator of my signature skin hasn’t released an applier for it, though it’s in the works to be released soon. It basically just boiled down to whether I wanted to fork over the lindens. Then recalling that I had not properly spent the lindens that a friend gave me for Christmas and knowing his inclination of always improving yourself. It was an easy decision to splurge using his gift of lindens to better myself.
