The weekend went by too fast and already the week is starting off on a busy note, so my posts will be somewhat erratic to when I can find time to get it posted.

Today I am featuring a new hair release by eXxEsS called Mermelada, which translated means Jam.  It’s rigged mesh, so you won’t be able to resize or move it.  The newest hairs have the “breeze” technology, which animates the hair as you move around.  I find this a really cool feature that gives you a bit of what I miss from the flexi hair days. The hair is available in two color packs A and B; the difference is that the A Pack has 56 single-tone colors and the B Pack has 56 multi-tone colors.  The link takes you to the demo in market place, so try it out first.

I’m showing some new ugg style boots by Empire, available at Sad November. The Aconitum as they’re called, are 100% original mesh, come in 20 shoe colors via HUD that lets you change parts individually.  They are made to fit the Belleza Freya, Venus, Isis, Slink Hourglass and Physique, Maitreya and The Mesh Project.

Most of the decor is from the newest gacha release by THOR for the new round of 6 Republic. The gacha set is called “Old Dirty Coffeeshop” and I’ve used all the pieces and have listed them below. The vintage slot machine is by [Schultz Bros.], that was recently released at Cosmopolitan, but should be available now at the store.  I’m showing the brown version, but you’ll be able to find it in a few other colors as well.

The remaining item that I am featuring is the cute PeeWee Puffs in a tea cup by JIAN for The Gacha Garden.  It’s a gacha set, so these are just a couple of the cuteness you can have by taking a chance at the gacha machines.

Home is everywhere with you

The color scheme of this furniture gives me a sense of the winter season that will soon be upon on us in Second Life.  While I enjoy the beautiful decorated winter sims it feels too soon to have the winter landscape.

This living room known as the “Waterdown” set is by Circa Living and is available at the event Sad November that runs for several more days until November 21st.  The items featured are the grey/plum velvet chair that has 18 animations and the grey/navy love seat that has 40 animations.  The set is available in plum and navy and includes the table, coat rack, vase, wall art, pear bowl and vase and rug.  Circa has made available the trio candle stand as a gift for very little lindens.

The home that I am using is DaD Designs newest release.  The Chelsea Victorian Loft is an original 100% mesh skybox.  The footage is 24×23 and has a land impact of 50 with copy and modify permission.

It is laid out very nicely with a large entrance, double living room, bedroom, bathroom and a large balcony.  From the creators notes, a typical Victorian apartment in the elegant area of London.

One of the great features of the loft is that it has been designed so that you can color each room with a different color and instructions are provided for you on how to do that.  The picture above shows you the loft in its finishing plaster white and a wall that has been colored to give you an idea of how it looks once you paint the walls.

Outdoor 001

There are two events coming our way soon.  The Trick or Treat Event is a very short event and will be held at The Shopping District from October 29 and runs only until November 1st.  I’ll be showing some previews from here to then starting with this midnight cat tattoo by Passion Tattoos.  It comes with most of the known appliers like Omega, Maitreya, Slink Physique, TMP as well as classic tattoo layers. It comes in light, medium and dark ink and I’m wearing the medium ink.

The next event is the second edition of Sad November that begins November 1st and will run until the 21st.   I’m wearing the military style mesh jacket by MoDANNA that will be available in several colors.  Aside from the jacket, there is a skirt, leggings and cardigan also in several colors to choose from.  I hope to show you some in the next few days.

I got hit with two restarts last night while I was taking this picture and I don’t think it was part of the maintenance that is planned for this week.  I’m hoping this will fix some of the ongoing issues lately.

I’m doing two posts today as I want to show another shoe that will be available come November 21st at this round of the 21Shoe event.  The shoes are from [sYs] Designs made to fit with SLink high feet that will be available just during the 24-hours of the 21Shoe event.  The other shoe that is not pictured is an almost identical pair in the color of red/black.  I played a gacha over the weekend for these cute clutches and the first out of the box was for Portugal, which I tried to give to my sis and she just wouldn’t take it (chuckles at inside joke).  I was aiming for my country, the good ole USA, which was a rare {I know right}.  I got lucky and got it on the second try and well I couldn’t resist going once more and got Italy and there I stopped.  In honor of an Italiano that I happen to know I thought it would be nice to use it with this outfit.

I’m showing another pair of shoes that will be available on November 21st for the 21Shoe event that runs for 24 hours only.  These adorable hounds-tooth Saddle Jane flats from Sax Shepherd Designs are perfect for taking a stroll through the shopping district and residential parts of Second Life.  I didn’t have to fight lag or see giant size mesh clothing floating all around me while I walked to find a spot to take a snapshot.  I must admit that I liked that experience and will be doing this a little more often for something different than setting up my own scene.  The sim was practically deserted and it’s a shame, but with so many events that run throughout the month it’s so easy for some of these wonderfully created locations to take a back seat.  That’s another great thing about 21Shoe is that all shoes can be found at the individual stores.

Not pictured is the other shoe that is part of the two-for-one deal, which are the button mules that also come in the same hounds-tooth fabric.  You will get two colors with each set — a white/black and red/black in each shoe style and all for a really great price of $299L and never to be sold again.  The waist cincher that matches the shoes will be offered as an add-on the same day also for a very good price.
