Good morning! Having not felt great the last two days, I for one will be glad when the weekend gets here.  The work week has been busy, and considering its been that way since I first started with this firm I don’t think it’s going to get any better.  I thrive in busy environments, just means that I’m always rushing.

Today I am showcasing the built-in kitchen skybox by Hive.  The kitchen part is not shown, but I’ll be showing it again with a post either tomorrow or the next day as I’m doing another kitchen scene.  It’s absolutely gorgeous, especially if you want the main feature to be your kitchen.  The Fulwood Collection made up of the sofa, chairs, the three color cabinets, rugs and so much more and all listed below is by Apple Fall.  Everyone knows his quality is top notch and this set is pretty spectacular.  Both Hive and Apple Fall items are to be found at Uber this round.

To complete the scene I am using some items from Mesh India from their Easter gacha, currently at Cosmopolitan. Everything else is listed below.

I’m having one of those weekends where my Second Life leaves a lot to be desired. I know that I’m not alone in this — we’ve all experienced issues in the recent days. Yesterday I had inventory and rezzing issues and no one I knew seemed to be having them, so I feel a bit special.  Of course it’s always at an inopportune time. Like when you have a few dozen of boxes you need to unpack.

Thankfully, today seems a bit better so I was able to get a picture done.  I have to admit that I struggled a bit putting this scene together. I’ll borrow DRD’s words from their current release — it’s a bit of a ‘hodgepodge’.

The time of lace tablecloths and doilies

I have fond memories of lace tablecloths and lace doilies strewn around our home as well in both set of grandparents homes as I was growing up.  It gave a touch of elegance and no doubt it was also a means to protect the wood underneath. Well it did in our family, as it couldn’t have been easy for my mom with eight children. Being we are all just one or two years apart in age you can perhaps imagine what a house full of children running around could be like.  Just writing these words gives me an overwhelming admiration and respect for my mom.

Pink dreams

Hello everyone.  I hope this post finds you all doing great and as for me I’m extremely very thankful for the good health report that I received today.  It’s made my day and gives me a sense of normalcy even if I’m not quite ready to do flips or run a marathon.  It’s a bit of wishful thinking as I’m more than sure I would be falling all over myself if I had tried doing either prior to having surgery almost two weeks ago.

Recovery has been slow.. way too slow. I’m more than a bit impatient as family and friends would attest to. This assessment is my own rather than my doctor who said I should give myself 4-6 weeks of recovery time and it’s just a day under 2 weeks.  I certainly don’t want to wait that long, but my body may continue to say otherwise and I’m forced to listen.  Either that or reap the consequences.  This means that I will still have to take things fairly slow until then. It’s of little consequence in comparison to how much worse it could have been and for that I’m beyond thankful and feeling very blessed for the great outcome I received.

In the meantime since I’m now able to get around and sit for periods of time I have decided to return to blogging sooner than previously stated. It will be at a slower pace, so that means not at my usual full speed everyday posting regime.

Since we have a couple days left before The Season’s Story ends I thought it be only fair to get another post in showcasing some awesome decor you can find there.  If you haven’t been or gotten everything you wanted, now is the time to rush there.  Otherwise, I’m also showing stuff by unKindness at the Epiphany and decor from creators participating in the just opened Blush Event.
