A beautiful romance

Morning everyone!  It’s a new round at Cosmopolitan and as usual lots of variety to be found.  I’m wearing a dress by Hilly Haalan, which is great for this summer heat as wearing anything tight in this heat is just unbearable. Yesterday was really hot with a heat index of 102 Fahrenheit… it was a scorcher.

The other items I’m featuring from this round is the swing decor in the corner by Sources. It’s available in a few colors and the planter by Chez Moi, which is part of their outdoor bed set at the event.  I’ll be showing the bed in another post soon to come.  I’m also using a pose by Di’s Opera that is available at Cosmo as well.  The front side braided hair is by Tetra and is one of three new hairstyles she has at Hair Fair.  

The bronze star wind rose decor on the wall is by Blue Sky, and it’s available at Summerfest.

The last items that I want to mention is the garden nook set by DRD, which is a new sponsor and I’m super elated to be blogging for them.  I’m featuring their garden nook set available now at Shiny Shabby.  The set includes the fountain, table and chairs and the flower bucket on top.  DRD is also having a summer sale that you definitely do not want to miss. Summertime cottage

The new month always brings the onslaught of ongoing periodic events and today’s post features some decor from sponsors who are participating at these events.  The house I’m featuring is the latest release by DaD Design, the summertime cottage is just in time if you’re looking for a new home that’s great for this summer season. The blowing curtains are also a new release by this designer and both are available at FaMESHed.

The orange and yellow poppies are by Heart Gardens, and again another beautiful set of wildflowers to help you decorate your homes and gardens with.  The poppies are also available in white, red and blue and in combination of colors for rows and patches.   The mossy stones are by Moon-Sha and available at this round of We ❤ Role-Play.  I thought at first to showcase this home near water, but then  decided to go with more of a rocky mountain type summertime home.

The last item being featured is the Jeffrey pine by Little Branch, available now at Cosmopolitan.  I really the shape of this tree, because it sort of gives it a story of its own. You’re bound to see me using it again.

The ‘SUMMERTIME COTTAGE’ is a beautiful beach house. It is original mesh and it is perfect for the summer. The cottage is composed with a large veranda which you can personalize it with blowing curtains. It has bamboo pergola that protects you from the rays of the sun. All you need is a cold glass of lemonade and you could spend so much time on the veranda as you watch the summer wind blow through the curtains. As you enter the front doors your greeted the center room which is perfect as your living room. On the sides of the living room there is 2 other rooms. One could be used as a small kitchen/dining room combo while the other room could be a bedroom. With the spacious floorplan you could do so many things with this cottage, such as a cottage for summer camp, a office, and anything you could imagine. The windows of the whole house can be opened and closed which are arranged in different heights to create the most natural look. Since its summer, don’t be afraid to open the windows and say hello to your neighbors you see in the yard.

Something so great about all DAD DESIGN ‘homes’ is that you can customize your home so easy. All you need to do is find the button that is in the room and touch it. There is over 74 pre-loaded textures and you can change it by each room. Also you can change the color of the exterior walls and the texture of the floors.

For security, you can also choose access for everyone, only you, or a notecard that you list who can enter.

Claims her spot for the fireworks

Hello everyone and a Happy 4th of July for those in America!!  I’m going to go straight into what I’m featuring without delay. I’m wearing new skin called Sophie by Belleza made for Catwa and it was modeled in Catya mesh head except I’m wearing it with Tumble. Sophie is available in 7 skin tones and includes coordinating base skin, 5 brows option, 5 eye makeups, 5 lipsticks, blush and freckles. It’s out at the main store.  Belleza also just released a new set of eyeliners to go with Sophie, there are like 12 options in the pack that I’m wearing. There is also a make-up add on set available as well.  You can find both at Summerfest.  Since I did a bit more editing on the first picture I included a second photo to give a clear shot of the skin and makeup as well as the hair that I’m also featuring.

The hair is another new release by Iconic at the Hair Fair.  Denae is available in several color options and materials ready. I’ll be showing one more new release and the gift in the coming days as the event ends on July 16th.


The blue and white top and bottoms are by The Annex, who was having a 4th of July sale at the store on some of there red, blue and white items. I didn’t get an opportunity to check if it was over, but worth checking out as items in these colors were $50L.  The shoes are from Empire called Quince. I don’t have any details just now other than coming soon, and as always with all of Empire’s shoes you get a lot of color options via a hud.

The last items are some of the decor pieces used, which are from 22769 that are available at The Gacha Guardians.  The dock is a rare in the set, and the bag, cooler box and beach clutter next to me are all commons.

Flamingo Island

Hello everyone! I’m still a bit groggy from a bit of a sleep in, but it’s a holiday weekend here and I was in a dream state kind of sleep. My dream last night was riding a horse and then found myself stopping to do something and was inside of a building with my horse, and as I was looking at some stuff in another room someone took my horse.  I retrieved it and then woke up around that part. No idea where that dream came from.. though gives me the urge to look for my horse in-world and go riding.

There were no humans around when I was shooting this picture so I asked some friendly flamingos to join me.  I’ve also used this title before in a previous post from last year when I used some flamingos in a photo for a tropical fair post. Interestingly enough it was also on a 3rd day of the month, except it was June then.

Anyways, today’s picture is all about summer fun showcasing two ongoing events –Summerfest and The Gacha Guardians.  Check out credits for all the details and as always any questions feel free to ask me.

The girls of summer

Happy Saturday afternoon!!  I’m starting off my weekend with a headache, which is not a fun way to begin though I’m hoping by the next few hours it’s all gone. Today’s post is a collaboration with friend and fellow blogger Lotus Mastroianni. I give her all the credit for building the set even arranging all the items that I put down for us to use.

It’s all about summer in this post starting with this adorable short hair style by Iconic called Mae, which is a new release at Hair Fair.  I grew up with a short hair style practically until I was 20 and then I started to let it grow out so I sort of have a soft spot for short hairs.  I’ll be showing you some more great hair styles by Iconic at the Hair Fair in some of my upcoming posts.

The clothes I’m wearing is by Justice and it’s from their Liv gacha outfit at the newest summer round of The Gacha Guardians.  The bubble gum scoops ice cream that I’m enjoying is by RazzBerry Inc., also at gacha event. My cute summery shoes are by Empire and these come in the various sizes to fit most mesh feet, but what I love is that they come also in toddleedoo sizes and are available at the Toddleedoo Fair.
