Pink dreams

Hello everyone.  I hope this post finds you all doing great and as for me I’m extremely very thankful for the good health report that I received today.  It’s made my day and gives me a sense of normalcy even if I’m not quite ready to do flips or run a marathon.  It’s a bit of wishful thinking as I’m more than sure I would be falling all over myself if I had tried doing either prior to having surgery almost two weeks ago.

Recovery has been slow.. way too slow. I’m more than a bit impatient as family and friends would attest to. This assessment is my own rather than my doctor who said I should give myself 4-6 weeks of recovery time and it’s just a day under 2 weeks.  I certainly don’t want to wait that long, but my body may continue to say otherwise and I’m forced to listen.  Either that or reap the consequences.  This means that I will still have to take things fairly slow until then. It’s of little consequence in comparison to how much worse it could have been and for that I’m beyond thankful and feeling very blessed for the great outcome I received.

In the meantime since I’m now able to get around and sit for periods of time I have decided to return to blogging sooner than previously stated. It will be at a slower pace, so that means not at my usual full speed everyday posting regime.

Since we have a couple days left before The Season’s Story ends I thought it be only fair to get another post in showcasing some awesome decor you can find there.  If you haven’t been or gotten everything you wanted, now is the time to rush there.  Otherwise, I’m also showing stuff by unKindness at the Epiphany and decor from creators participating in the just opened Blush Event.

Hello everyone.  I’m doing a second post today to finish up at least another post for The Season’s Story and a few sponsors.  This will be my last post for a few weeks as I need to take care of a health issue that I’ve been dealing with for several months now.  I won’t go into specific details, but it entails me taking a blogging break from now to the second week in February.  At least I hope it’s that short of a time frame, but either way I’ll be back to continue.

Hello everyone.  It’s another quick post to show you some fantastic stuff all around the grid, starting with some fashion and some cuteness from The Season’s Story, including the pose I’m using. I’m also wearing a new skin by Belleza called Hazel made for the Lelutka mesh heads. I’m wearing it with Simone and can also be found at The Season’s Story.

Bee Designs has this delightful living room set as a gacha at On9, which I added some decor by [ zerkalo ] at The Gacha Guardians.  If you haven’t checked out Deco(c)rate, you should. This month it has some fantastic decor pieces, not only the skybox from Llorisen, but this chandelier by [Kres].

Happy Monday!! It already feels like a long day for me and it’s just pass the noon hour so I still have hours to go before giving it a rest.  I’ll just get write into telling you about this wonderful spread of goodies I am showing today.  The house I’m using is the Gilley Lake House by Thistle, for the August round of Builder’s Box.  I know I’m not showing much but a corner, but I promise that I’ll be showing more in a coming soon post.

Happy Friday!! It also means Fifty Linden Friday today only — in case you aren’t aware of this ongoing weekly event, every Friday participating stores have an item out for only $50 lindens. It’s a wonderful opportunity to grab some often cute fashion, poses and home and garden decor.  One of today’s bargain is this food trailer by Anhelo, which is available in two colors. The condiment bottles and hot-dog packages are group gifts. It’s really worth the buy and great for sim decor, role-play or in this case for creating a scene for a quick snapshot.

The other decor being featured is the bench by .:revival:., which is part of October’s Deco(c)rate mystery box and the cute chipmunk collection along with the fallen log is by JIAN, available at The Season’s Story.

To complete the scene I put myself in there wearing new hair by eXxEsS called Verona that can be found at their main store.  The dress is by Scandalize and comes in various colors and it’s currently available at FaMESHed and the new shoes are by Empire and can be found at Collabor88.  As always with Empire shoes, for one set price you get a HUD with 12 colors.  Please note that I’m using all Slink mesh body parts instead of Maitreya, though can be found for the latter as well.
