Lately I’ve been having some of these messy days in the kitchen.  I’ve been fortunate the last few years with my mom being with me that she does the cooking.  She’s a great… fantastic cook and I didn’t take after her. Though she’s off visiting with siblings until the end of the year, so I am in the kitchen again.  Though I get by and it’s usually eatable. I haven’t poisoned myself or anyone so far.

Today’s decor post is featuring items from two events and a sponsor and it’s all about the most important place in the home… the kitchen and the one being shown today is from Cherry House. It’s gacha and has 1 rare and 12 commons along with a nice gift you can find at the event.  The hot chocolate mugs are just a couple of a few by Quirky and the candy clusters on the island are by LovelyAlien.  You can find these all at The Season’s Story.

Now a good portion of my mornings I eat cereal and I’ve set out two of which I enjoy in real.  You will note the names on these are not the same, but if you’re familiar with the brands then you might know which they are.  These cereals are part of the cereal killer gacha by Junk Food. The baking stuff is by BoWillow, and also gacha so you’re seeing just a few of the pieces.  The Halloween cookie tray is by TeaBunny and all these items can be found at The Gacha Guardians.

Happy Tuesday morning! Today’s post is all about The Season’s Story, which is celebrating it’s 4th Anniversary, so be prepared to grab all the gifts along with the many wonderful items they have this Autumn round.

Happy Sunday! My post is very short as I don’t have much time before I have to finish getting ready to leave town until Tuesday.  I will not be posting until my return as I am not taking a laptop for the short duration.

While I am usually drawn more to neutral warm colors for my own personal likes when I am decorating my own homes — I do like white and light colors. I think part of the reason that I’m drawn to warmer colors is that I grew up in a large family and light colors was never an option. My paternal grandmother on occasion had light color furniture, but she lived on the west coast and visits there were for short weeks at a time.  My maternal grandmother had two living rooms, a formal and non formal one, but both were warm colors.

It’s one of the reasons to love about Second Life decorating. You can experiment as much as you like with decorating — trying something that may not be your usual style or colors and replace it so quickly if it’s not to your liking.  If you’re like me and often stick to warm colors how about shifting to something new.

Today, I’m showing a new release by a store that I just started blogging for known as (luc) boutique, that specializes in jewelry and home decor.  I hope to be showing you some more great things in the future.

I’m featuring a few pieces from their gacha at The Season’s Story.  There are 12 pieces total, of which I am using 9 listed below under credits. The pouf is by Soy, and it’s at this round of The Liaison Collaborative. You can also find the updo hairstyle that I’m wearing by D!va and the fur jacket by Mimikri at the same event.

Today I’m featuring stuff by Empire and The Den in collaboration with Ariskea. The shoes are from Empire and available now at the Geeks & Nerds Event. Like with all their shoes the Hydrangea shoes are 100% original mesh and 2o colors are included via a HUD  with the ability to change parts individually.  They are rigged mesh made for the Belleza Freya, Belleza Venus, Belleza Isis, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Maitreya and The Mesh Project.

The furniture set made up of the couch, chairs along with the chest table and balls decor with the hourglass and clock, lamp, postal frame and letter decor are a collaboration by the creators mentioned.  It’s a lovely set that fits all year long, the sofa is available in both a pg and adult version.
