Good morning everyone!  I’m off today, it’s a mental health day.  It’s one of the pluses in the firm that I work for as it’s a tremendously busy office and when there is no holiday in that given month we get a Monday off for mental health.  I may work well under pressure, but it’s sort of nice to be able to sleep in on a Monday. If I learned any lesson from my long tenure at my previous job that I am applying today, it is leave the job behind when you leave for the day and weekend.

It really helps keep the balance, especially if you’re just an employee and not the owner of the business or the one who signs the checks and hold the responsibility for the company. I was the latter, in a medium size company of about 35 employees with a budget over $10 million and ultimately responsible for every decision made. I don’t miss that part of the job.

I know you all didn’t come here to read about my personal life, so on to today’s picture showcase.  It’s decor from sponsors participating at Collabor88, Uber and PocketGacha.  I had a little fun with this one.  If you’re a blogger, then you might know it can be quite a challenge sometimes to get as much as you can into a post, not only in a concentrated effort to show as much as you can. It’s also what we bloggers do to make sure we meet monthly obligations.  This can be especially harder when decor is not at the same themed event.  I took advantage of the angle of this lodge to showcase items today.

A couple of days ago I logged into my SL Facebook to see I had been tagged by a creator and a fellow blogger congratulating me for my blog being selected by Feedspot as one of the “Top 25 Second Life Blogs and Websites to Follow in 2018.” That was a completely nice surprise and even more so when I went down the list of the other blogs, and my fantasy blog, Alexa’s Fantasy Wardrobe, was also selected.  Thanks to all of you who follow and continue to support my blog and a big welcome to some fairly new followers.

Today I’m showcasing this awesome beach hut and rowboat set by Trompe Loeil, currently at Uber.  The hut can be used by itself without the island, making it 57 land impact instead of 101 with the island. The rowboat is 20 land impact. You have until April 23rd to visit.

Hello again. I’m going to have to leave early tomorrow to be the first in line to get my driver’s license renewed.  I knew that it was going to expire this year, but it just totally slipped my mind and I’ve been driving around without a valid one.  I’ll be rushing no doubt because its early to beat the morning traffic as it’s on the opposite side of town from where I travel to work. This means I’m posting tomorrow’s post now.

I was going to post this earlier in the morning, but woke up with a headache and then left the house for a bit and so finally it’s making its way to you.  Though breakfast is good anytime, right?  Plus who would pass up breakfast that looks this good!  Apple Fall never ceases to amaze with his wonderful talent and the breakfast clutter set available at FaMESHed is gorgeous.
