I was immediately drawn to this dress from AZUL when I first saw it. It comes in various colors, but I chose this topaz color because I am partial to earthy tones. Plus it was one of the 100 limited. I kind of like knowing that the chances would be slim that someone else will be wearing the same dress around the grid.
In reading up on Artemis several web sites depict her as being the goddess of hunting, wilderness and wild animals and while she killed game, she was also known to protect them. Artemis was a virgin, though she was also known as the goddess of childbirth and assisted many during the birth process. If you would like to read more about Artemis, you can visit the information on Wikipedia here.
I think most women have at one time or another tried to identify with their inner goddess. In googling this concept of discovering that goddess in you I came across the usual stuff like making time for yourself. Whether it’s five minutes a day just to sit and reflect or a day at a spa. Accepting who you are as a person, mind, body and soul. Meditating and speaking your truth among others. Then I came across an interesting site that has you discovering your goddess based on your birthday sign. I’m not sure when this information was created, but it was uncanny how my goddess fit my current status so well. Even more eerie was my usual goddess for my birthday sign was Artemis. Maybe just maybe that’s why I was drawn to this dress. To discover that goddess based on your birthday, click here.
