Hello everyone! A new week and a day away from a whole new month — aren’t you excited? I am.  This month wasn’t one of the best and it will be good to put it behind.

Today’s  post is another collaboration with Lotus Mastroianni, fellow blogger and friend that call each other twins, hence the title.  It’s not because we look alike as she’s pretty light skinned and I’m pretty tanned as we both are in real life too.  Though from the time we met and began to share certain facts about our different Latin cultures and familial backgrounds we found some commonality and ever since she made me her Mexican twin.  If you don’t know her work, you really ought to check it out as she’s extremely talented.

My routine before I start to blog for the day is to check Flickr and so to find it was down this morning I felt like I couldn’t quite function. It’s back up now.  Though it has me thinking how easy we depend on things like this and then when it’s removed we lose a little of our footing.  Two pics for the price of zero today.

It’s a mixed post of fashion and decor.  The hair and dress both can be found at this new round of Tres Chic, which goes on until 5 November.  The boots are by Empire and are at the main store now.


The washing machine, faucet and small restroom building is by Anhelo, and a previous Fifty Linden Friday, that I didn’t get to blog during that time.  Eventually when I’m able to I try to utilize it in some way and today it served as a great backdrop for this picture, but it’s fantastic pieces for any outdoor decor.

The Skippy scooter is by Serendipity Style is a gacha item at Shiny Shabby.

Well as I finish this I just learned Flickr is down again.

Bloodcroft Castle

Over the weekend DRD released a gacha of massive proportions.  It’s quite epic as you can tell by looking at just the castle in the first picture, which is one of two rares out of a 40 piece set.  The rocks beneath the castle is the second rare.

I am not showing the entire pieces in the set or the castle, but hope these pictures gives you a feel for the quality and workmanship that was put into this set and encourages you to visit their store.  To help you identify everything I’m providing you with two additional sources, the key to the gacha here and DRD website, where it might contain a little more information.

The key you will note contains the amount of land impact for each piece, which runs from 1 to 1060 being the highest land impact for the castle.

The three witches manor

I was not sure and in fact had already decided that I would not be able to showcase the latest release by DaD Designs, which is the Westbury Manor. It has a hefty land impact of 493, plus you need a large size parcel to make it work, but due to the timing of another project that freed up prims I was able to take advantage to get a quick picture in.  The Westbury Manor is available at FaMESHed until the end of the month. I’m also showcasing Halloween decor items from Cosmopolitan by Mesh India and Chez Moi.  The animals used are by JIAN, the first is the Avian Arcana gacha at Lootbox and the other is the spiders from their collection at FaMESHed.  The last items that I want to mention are the bare wicca trees by Heart out now at FaMEShed as well.  There is a large selection of trees available in the pack, that really are quite perfect for your Halloween decorating needs or for some spooky forest maybe.

“Westbury Manor” is freely inspired by “Old Westbury Garden” located in Long Island.  It is a beautiful family house in American Georgian style. A large entrance welcomes you with a staircase on the left. On the right there is a small study. You can also access to a very big living room, a second study and a tea room. Behind the staircase there is a door with which you can access to a secondary entrance, a kitchen and a dining room. Upstairs you can find two spacious bedrooms, the master room and a bathroom and a bathroom.  Outside the “Westbury Manor” you can find a luxury patio in which you can relax.

The windows of the whole house can be opened and have been arranged openings of different heights to create the most natural look possible.
