Having skipped the weekend giving myself a little blogging break to do some other things I’m going to shoot for a second post today.

I can’t remember how long I’ve been a fan of eXxEsS hair and have blogged a few styles in the past as part of my outfits. I’m thrilled to now be a part of their blogger team and look forward to showing more awesome hairstyles in the future. I love the casualness of this hair and the feel it gives of the hair flying naturally with the wind. Hera is mesh hair and comes with a fairly extensive color selection by Hud.

The top and jeans are from MoDANNA and are currently available at the FROST event that runs from December 13th to January 3rd. You will find both of these every day wear items in several colors.

Lil me is wearing this festive holiday hoody by PuddleSplash, which is now at the All The Little Things event that runs until December 21st. You’re bound to find all sorts of fun things for the little ones.

Now for some festive fun decor. The sleigh that comes with animations for two people, is available in silver and gold in both the light and dark wood tones. Due to the fact that my avatar is slightly taller than normal size I had to do a slight modification of the rope, which I raised to fit accordingly. It can be done by using the edit linked feature in the edit menu. The sleigh and the igloo are both from In My Cloud and can be found at The Mid Winter Fair that will run until the end of the month. The snowflakes and star decor is by Una and also available at the Mid Winter Fair in gold and silver.

The last items that I’m featuring today are the trees by Little Branch, which are available at the new round of the LTD Event that runs until December 26th. These trees are 4 seasons, meaning that by the touch of the menu you can pick the season you want to create in your Second Life.

Winter Wonderland

I can’t decide if I want to be in awe of the falling snow or I’m about to take a tumble for being on a slippery iced bridge. The pose I’m on is actually more towards the middle of the bridge. I did some major adjusting to be able to show the Christmas outfit by Q’s Quties that lil me is wearing. It is available at the All The Little Things.

The snowy bridge, bench, snowman and sign are all part of a Winter Wonderland gacha from Buglets at the Playroom that just opened yesterday. They are miniature size for the toddleedoo and all the pieces are great for setting up a winter wonderland for the little ones.

Today All The Little Things opens and here are some cute things from Happy Puppy. The carousel is the rare item in the set of carousels that on touch turn. The ladybug is a gift at the event, so make sure you go grab yours. Lil me is also wearing a kitty hat by Buglets that is at this round of Hello Beautiful.

I was not planning to blog anything today as I didn’t get around to doing anything the previous night as I usual do for the day ahead. Though I have quite a few things to show in the coming days.

Then I got some new stuff to blog and I couldn’t wait to do something with it as ideas quickly began to form. I am featuring this picnic blanket with basket of bread and wine from Shutter Field. It has animation for single and couples. I’m showing the purple version, but you can find it in two different colors at the event. The little one took the phone while the grown up went astray and is showing off her new clogs and leg warmers by BoOgErS, which are available at this round of La Boutique. It is a monthly event for kids.

The last items I am showing are these giant maple trees from Little Branch, which are at this round of 6th Republic. There are three versions with texture change for all seasons by touch.

Some ongoing toddler events and now even a new event for the family and kids with a slight twist. I’m showing some of the common items from Buglets Sweet Bunny Gacha currently at the Playroom. The binky, hoodie, leggings and boots come in three different colors with the rare being a bunny with a hold animation. Not shown.

The scarf also from Buglets is at Hello Beautiful and comes with a texture change Hud.

The last item I am featuring is also from Buglets and is my first bike that is wearable and comes also with a texture change Hud for the seat, handles and wheels. It is available at the new event called Lucky 7, that will happen every month on the 7th and run until the 27th of the month. The twist is that up to 7 lucky shoppers from each vendor will have a chance to win the item for free and be refunded. That means all you have to do is shop!

Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater

Featuring a few things today. The first are these assortment of pumpkins by Dysfunctional Designs, which are available at their store. I think they’re absolutely great and like all the odd shapes and colors. Someone gave us a large pumpkin the other day so I’ve been searching for recipes and found a few for pumpkin bread and one for pumpkin french toast. I’m wondering how the latter is going to taste.

Little me is wearing some cute shoes by Buglets, which are texture change using a HUD. They are called skelly as they have a little skeleton adornment. You get six colors and their free gift is this sign. They are available at the annual Trunk or Treat event for kids and will run until November 18th. Most of the stores participating also have a free gift along with their item, so make sure to check it out.

The fruit trees in the background are the latest releases by Aphrodite Shops. There are several fruit versions of trees and they come with a texture changing menu for the leaves and have falling autumn leaves and even come with the wind system giving you a bit of realism.

Someone has to clean up the mess

I had such a hard time getting this picture done yesterday that I think my days of dual logging are about over. Normally, if I put my settings down to the minimum on both viewers I can get by just long enough to take the picture and log one of us off.

As much as I tried yesterday to get myself in the picture I kept crashing, hence asking one of my siblings to come over for a quick shot. Thanks Paris!

I am featuring a few more fall decor items today. The topiary’s with pumpkins are by [CIRCA]. Not pictured as part of this set is a bench with leaves that has sit animations. The texture on the planters can be changed by menu. The other item that [CIRCA] has available is the hanging bamboo chair that also comes with texture change options for the fabric and comes with single and couple sits.

I knew who I was this morning, but I’ve changed a few times since then

There is a saying that your soul is healed by being with children. I can attest to that having been around children for the most part in the last twenty plus years. Last night I was watching a one minute video of my nephew’s five month old son as he grabbed both of his feet in his hands and then proceeded to raise his right foot directly into his mouth. It gave me a good chuckle as it brought back memories of my nephew, the baby’s father, having done the same thing when he was at his age. The laughter and the good memory was medicine to the soul.

It makes me reflect on the times when I take off the shield of my adult persona and get into the small size jumping bag of beans of little me and I realize how quickly the mood alters. It’s subtle and yet there is like an automatic shift in my atmosphere as I wiggle around in the small shape.

My soul needed a little healing, so thank you Buglets for this lil witch costume to feature. The set is available at The Play Room that opens today. It is a gacha set that includes 8 commons: hat, top, skirt, tights, flats, bucket, bracelet and flying broom and 1 rare – the cauldron with four poses.

Found the cookies!

Doing a quick post this evening to show a few items for the toddleedoo. The first are these dinosaur pajamas that BoOgErS made for the Gen-Neutral event, which ends tomorrow so you still have a little time to grab them at a great price. There are two options available for you to choose from.

Over the past weekend I made two batches of peanut butter cookies, which amounted to about four dozen. So it made me chuckle as I was doing up this scene as I recalled the amount of cookies I had in the last days. I’m glad they’re all gone now. My little pumpkin

It’s definitely starting to look like Fall in Second Life with all the orange, yellows and red colors you see around. I’m featuring a few new items by unKindness to help you decorate for the season.

The County Pumpkin set, which can be found at the Tres Chic event includes the pumpkin seat, pumpkin accessories on the floor and the candle tray on the table. The seat comes with male and female sit animations.
