It’s fairly late and I had good intentions to try to get my sleep schedule back on track by getting to bed early.  It didn’t work out too well since I’m still up.  Then I started to ponder on the things I needed to get done tomorrow making my morning fairly busy somewhat that I figured it be a great thing to post now.

I’m getting my first post in for the Home Show that started on the 8th and will run through the 29th of this month.  It has a little bit of everything so something you definitely want to go check out.  I’m featuring the Miramar set by Newchurch, which consists of the teak furniture pictured.  Newchurch put a little spin on his releases this month by making part of the collective set available at another event. The umbrella, chaise and side tables that I modded to make them taller and squarer are at the On9 Event that just began as well.

Dysfunctionaly is participating at the Home Show with the swaying spring bushes there in the background that on touch brings up the menu to change colors.  There are a few versions included from tall, fat and corner bush.  The other item that is available by the same creator is the string lights.  Other items at the Home Show is the bonsai poodle topiaries by MadPea and the flamingo lamp by %Percent.

I’m also showcasing items from the Mount Olympus Gacha by unKindness.  The pavilion, streamers, fountain light and vases. The gacha is at Lootbox.  The stiks with lights is another item by unKindness available at Limit8.  Then last but certainly not least is the Sphinx copper statue by 22769 that I brought to table top size, because it also makes a great decor piece for inside the home.

Hopefully, there are no major spelling errors as I am going to take the easy way out and post without a reread.

A beautiful romance

Morning everyone!  It’s a new round at Cosmopolitan and as usual lots of variety to be found.  I’m wearing a dress by Hilly Haalan, which is great for this summer heat as wearing anything tight in this heat is just unbearable. Yesterday was really hot with a heat index of 102 Fahrenheit… it was a scorcher.

The other items I’m featuring from this round is the swing decor in the corner by Sources. It’s available in a few colors and the planter by Chez Moi, which is part of their outdoor bed set at the event.  I’ll be showing the bed in another post soon to come.  I’m also using a pose by Di’s Opera that is available at Cosmo as well.  The front side braided hair is by Tetra and is one of three new hairstyles she has at Hair Fair.  

The bronze star wind rose decor on the wall is by Blue Sky, and it’s available at Summerfest.

The last items that I want to mention is the garden nook set by DRD, which is a new sponsor and I’m super elated to be blogging for them.  I’m featuring their garden nook set available now at Shiny Shabby.  The set includes the fountain, table and chairs and the flower bucket on top.  DRD is also having a summer sale that you definitely do not want to miss. I’m sort of wondering why I didn’t take a close up of the items inside this little shack by [Tia] at FaMESHed. Thinking back to this day I remember the struggle was finding a windlight that I liked. You know one of those days that when you finally find the lighting to take the photo and all you want to do is quickly snap the picture and be done with it.  Yes, it was probably one of those days.  Though you really ought to go check these items out at the event because they’re absolutely great.

The decor on the outside, the lighted arch with the trunks are by Serenity and were part of last months Deco(c)rate. You can still grab the subscription box, but it will be at a slightly higher price.  The white poppies are from Heart Gardens and also at FaMESHed.  As I mentioned in my post yesterday, you can find these in an assortment of colors.  The last item is the dirt road by Moon_Sha at We ❤ Role-Play. There are several options on this road available as individual purchases or a fatpack.

Summertime cottage

The new month always brings the onslaught of ongoing periodic events and today’s post features some decor from sponsors who are participating at these events.  The house I’m featuring is the latest release by DaD Design, the summertime cottage is just in time if you’re looking for a new home that’s great for this summer season. The blowing curtains are also a new release by this designer and both are available at FaMESHed.

The orange and yellow poppies are by Heart Gardens, and again another beautiful set of wildflowers to help you decorate your homes and gardens with.  The poppies are also available in white, red and blue and in combination of colors for rows and patches.   The mossy stones are by Moon-Sha and available at this round of We ❤ Role-Play.  I thought at first to showcase this home near water, but then  decided to go with more of a rocky mountain type summertime home.

The last item being featured is the Jeffrey pine by Little Branch, available now at Cosmopolitan.  I really the shape of this tree, because it sort of gives it a story of its own. You’re bound to see me using it again.

The ‘SUMMERTIME COTTAGE’ is a beautiful beach house. It is original mesh and it is perfect for the summer. The cottage is composed with a large veranda which you can personalize it with blowing curtains. It has bamboo pergola that protects you from the rays of the sun. All you need is a cold glass of lemonade and you could spend so much time on the veranda as you watch the summer wind blow through the curtains. As you enter the front doors your greeted the center room which is perfect as your living room. On the sides of the living room there is 2 other rooms. Hello everyone and a Happy 4th of July for those in America!!  I’m going to go straight into what I’m featuring without delay. I’m wearing new skin called Sophie by Belleza made for Catwa and it was modeled in Catya mesh head except I’m wearing it with Tumble. Sophie is available in 7 skin tones and includes coordinating base skin, 5 brows option, 5 eye makeups, 5 lipsticks, blush and freckles. It’s out at the main store.  Belleza also just released a new set of eyeliners to go with Sophie, there are like 12 options in the pack that I’m wearing. There is also a make-up add on set available as well.  You can find both at Summerfest.  Since I did a bit more editing on the first picture I included a second photo to give a clear shot of the skin and makeup as well as the hair that I’m also featuring.

The hair is another new release by Iconic at the Hair Fair.  Denae is available in several color options and materials ready. I’ll be showing one more new release and the gift in the coming days as the event ends on July 16th.


The blue and white top and bottoms are by The Annex, who was having a 4th of July sale at the store on some of there red, blue and white items. I didn’t get an opportunity to check if it was over, but worth checking out as items in these colors were $50L.  The shoes are from Empire called Quince. I don’t have any details just now other than coming soon, and as always with all of Empire’s shoes you get a lot of color options via a hud.

The last items are some of the decor pieces used, which are from 22769 that are available at The Gacha Guardians.  The dock is a rare in the set, and the bag, cooler box and beach clutter next to me are all commons.

Flamingo Island

Hello everyone! I’m still a bit groggy from a bit of a sleep in, but it’s a holiday weekend here and I was in a dream state kind of sleep. My dream last night was riding a horse and then found myself stopping to do something and was inside of a building with my horse, and as I was looking at some stuff in another room someone took my horse.  I retrieved it and then woke up around that part. No idea where that dream came from.. though gives me the urge to look for my horse in-world and go riding.

There were no humans around when I was shooting this picture so I asked some friendly flamingos to join me.  I’ve also used this title before in a previous post from last year when I used some flamingos in a photo for a tropical fair post. Interestingly enough it was also on a 3rd day of the month, except it was June then.

Anyways, today’s picture is all about summer fun showcasing two ongoing events –Summerfest and The Gacha Guardians.  Check out credits for all the details and as always any questions feel free to ask me.

Hello again everyone.  I wasn’t intending to do a second post today, but as I was organizing my photos for this coming week I thought let me get this last one post in since it features items from Tres Chic too.  The top and skirt are by Aleutia, which are just great for taking a stroll on the beach.  The other item from this event I’ve used before, and it’s a pose from Greek Goddess set by Frozen Poses.

The decor is a mixture from a few designers that I blog for.  The first set is the Beach Life one by Dreamscapes Art Gallery, which is their item for Enmeshed Monthly. The set includes towels for sitting at the beach, the umbrella, sand buckets, swim rings, ice cream cup and a few more items not shown. This is a subscription, and pre-orders  were for July 1st, but previous boxes are still available for a slightly higher price.  Visit the Enmeshed Monthly website for more information on this subscription event and for previous boxes.

The beach ready set by Zen Creations is at the main store now, and it includes lots of pillows, towel, radio, beach ball and some decor like the surf board, palm, stool and beach sign.  The round blue mandala design beach towel is by [Merak], and it’s only of many choices that you can find at this round of Shiny Shabby.  All these items have some great sit animations that are wonderful for sitting and laying out at the beach.

Tomorrow it’s another summer scene with a little fun twist.
