The girls of summer

Happy Saturday afternoon!!  I’m starting off my weekend with a headache, which is not a fun way to begin though I’m hoping by the next few hours it’s all gone. Today’s post is a collaboration with friend and fellow blogger Lotus Mastroianni. I give her all the credit for building the set even arranging all the items that I put down for us to use.

It’s all about summer in this post starting with this adorable short hair style by Iconic called Mae, which is a new release at Hair Fair.  I grew up with a short hair style practically until I was 20 and then I started to let it grow out so I sort of have a soft spot for short hairs.  I’ll be showing you some more great hair styles by Iconic at the Hair Fair in some of my upcoming posts.

The clothes I’m wearing is by Justice and it’s from their Liv gacha outfit at the newest summer round of The Gacha Guardians.  The bubble gum scoops ice cream that I’m enjoying is by RazzBerry Inc., also at gacha event. My cute summery shoes are by Empire and these come in the various sizes to fit most mesh feet, but what I love is that they come also in toddleedoo sizes and are available at the Toddleedoo Fair.

The decor I’m showcasing is by Velvet Whip, which is part of their pool party gacha at The Gacha Guardians.  The key to the set can be viewed here, with the cocktails tray of two drinks being the gift of the guardians.  Visit The Gacha Guardians website to learn more about the event and how to play to receives one of two gifts of the guardian.

Happy Friday!!  It’s a pretty extensive list of credits today so I will just sort of give some brief highlights.  The Arcade ends later tonight.. so it’s really the last chance to grab some fun items before they’re gone as some of the items are exclusives or you can always try finding them in marketplace or in-world locations where they have older gachas.

As the Arcade ends, a new round of The Gacha Guardians starts tomorrow or just under 15 hours to be exact. Lots of great items you’re going to find this round.  My guy here is wearing new releases by Belleza, which are at this round of Men Only Monthly.  Then I’m also showcasing decor by 22769, that you can find at this round of the newest event for men called Man Cave. The shelf with decor is at Shiny Shabby.

I'll wait… for a time

Morning everyone. Even though it’s a little before the 10 am hour I’m still a bit groggy from lack of sleep as I’ve been doing a few late nights this week to complete a project non second-life related.  It probably has a little to do with eating a full breakfast of pancakes and eggs, something that doesn’t happen every morning at least for me as I’m not much of a morning eater.  Today was an exception.

I’m wearing a new skin by *YS&YS* called Ludo made for the new generation Akeruka mesh head. It’s a main store release so no fighting lag at an event to take a look.  I’m wearing it in tone 02, but it’s also available in a range of tones that go from 00 to 04.  I’m also wearing the shape that came with the skin, specifically for Valerie mesh head by Akeruka Creations, the one I’m wearing.

This cute new hairstyle is by eXxEsS and another main store release available in several colors. The black bodysuit is by Tentacio and it’s part of their Sakiko gacha at Lootbox. Here is the key so that you can see the other items in the gacha that can be worn independently as well.  The thigh garter is by Empire and comes with a color hud giving you lost of options. It’s going to be available at the upcoming Crystal Hearts event that I believe opens this Friday. These sexy shoes are a new release by N-core and currently available at this month’s round of Kustom9.  I’m wearing the Maitreya version, but you can also find versions for Belleza and Slink as well a version to fit their own mesh feet.

I’m using a lamp and a bed from creators participating at this round of Cosmopolitan that ends July 2nd.

I got off to a late start with showcasing the Tres Chic event this month, so I’m in the midst of wrapping up my posts and the reason for a second post today.  I hope you all have had an opportunity to visit this event and in case you haven’t there is still about a week left before it ends.  Everything I’m wearing including the pose that I’m using can be found at this event, well, all except the new skin by *YS&YS* called Maddie.  It’s part of the June Powder Pack subscription that can still be purchased at Marketplace. 

In case you might have missed my initial post on the Tres Chic event this month, it’s all about ancient Greece.  The lovely hair that I’m wearing is by EMO-tions and can be found in various colors and just to go off my usual I decided to go with a platinum color.  The gown is by Masoom and also available in a few colors and I’ve been sort of stuck on white for a while now, which if you’ve been with me for a while my color of choice has always been black in the past. Change can be easy sometimes. The bracelet is by Enchante’ and I thought it went very well with what I was wearing as well as the shoes by Mosquito’s Way. The pose is one of a few by Luane’s World that is on offer at this month’s event.  I will have one more post featuring items from Tres Chic and then all about summer decor as I get into Summerfest and no doubt maybe a couple of non summer posts and then it will probably be the start of next months events including the Home Show.

This round of The Chapter Four introduced something new to the event — a round within the round.  Designers participating will bring you new exclusive releases in the middle of the current round, even mini-gacha sets. I’m showing the mini-gacha by Ionic called the “Small Things” gacha, that includes 1o commons and 1 rare. Find them in the secret room at the event.

I’m also showing a new release by Zen Creations, which is the Book Lover Bedroom and includes several pieces such as the bed, bookcase, table and lamps and books in tray on the floor.  You can find everything listed below.

I featured all this stuff in one of the homes from May’s Builder’s Box edition. The Leviosa Loft is by KITE and it’s a lovely two floor loft that has some amazing windows. The Builder’s Box is a quarterly subscription full of some of the most stylish and amazing homes and skyboxes.  Visit the Builder’s Box website to take a look at the homes from the May edition. Good morning everyone.  It’s all about summer these days and this is probably only the beginning of what’s available on the grid for the coming weeks ahead. Today I’m featuring the Cape Cod Country Bar Gacha by DaD Designs at Shiny Shabby.  There are 19 pieces with the bar being the rare, click here to see the key for the whole gacha.

I’m also showing a new release by Concept, which is their Kenya hammocks that are also available at Shiny Shabby.  They come in several colors, so you must go check them out and while I’m showing the pg version I believe there is also an adult version at the event. The drinks and candle on the bar counter are by Sway’s and are part of their gacha at the Arcade.  Few days more before this event ends, so get on over there if you haven’t made it yet.

The last items I’m featuring are the white palms and beach sand by Little Branch, which you can probably find on market place by now.

Good morning, as it’s still morning here for me and I’m still somewhat groggy from a late night and little sleep. I definitely need a shot of caffeine, but more like a coke or even a root beer rather than coffee. When it’s so unbearably hot I can’t fathom drinking hot liquids or even having any type of soup unless it’s French onion soup, because that’s one of my favorites.

Before I start rambling I’ll move on to what I’m showing today.  It’s sort of a mixture of fashion and decor and it’s from several sponsors who are at events and then items from Cosmopolitan.

It’s a busy week for me as I try to wrap up a project in real life so you might be getting a few posts without much commentary.

There is just under a week left before the arcade closes its doors and what a fun time it’s been showcasing some of the wonderful things there.  I’ve been wanting to feature this lovely home by Scarlet Creative, though between being away and then catching up with pictures it just wasn’t possible until now.  It’s another wonderful home by this creator, but you do need to have the space and and prims as land impact is 259 for home alone. I’m only showing a few pieces of the commons as there are 16 pieces to collect with the rare being the house. You can take a view of the items on the creators Flickr here.

I’m also showing the new animated summer wind trees by Little Branch, which are available now at Shiny Shabby.  Little Branch has been updating all their landscaping items to have animation, so soon you’ll be able to get another wonderful experience when using their trees and flowers.

It’s evening time here so it’s too late to wish some of you who are in other countries to enjoy the rest of your weekend, but for the rest of you who are still a few hours away from tomorrow enjoy what’s left as we head into a new week.
