My favorite place

I’m beginning to feel the effects of a long day and several hours of driving today as I just got back from a quick trip to where I used to live in the southern part of the state. It’s just over a 4 hour trip one way and these days anything beyond 2 hours is almost too long, so if you find typos or anything missing that’s the reason.

Anyways, I’m home again and ready to get cracking again on showing you lots of home and garden from several events from 6th Republic that just began and Builder’s Box that also just came out and so much more.  Today’s post is featuring items from 22769 at The Epiphany, which is just a fantastic gacha.  Too many great pieces to mention them individually, so i’m going to link you to the vendor key.

Also, I’m featuring items by AsteroidBox and HopScotch, which are also gacha and can be found at The Gacha Garden. The small elephant by HopScotch is actually a huggable toy, but as you can see also great for decor.  You can find the link to all the gacha keys below in credits.

Well it’s gone past the time I would have said morning, as I’ve been trying to get this posted since hours ago.  I just had several distractions and a headache to boot, but without delay I’ll get right into it.  This post is a mixture of several sets from different creators participating in events all over the grid and where I am able will share the gacha keys to help you know what belongs to what set.

I am using the rare house by Ionic in its Espirita gacha set at The Chapter Four, along with all the commons in the set. The gacha key can be seen here and photos of the rare here. Next we have The Messy Witch gacha by 22769 at Salem. This gacha set is 17 items total, with the rare being the chair that has animations.  You can view the key to the gacha here.

22769 also has the Dysfunctional Piano set at We ❤ Role-Play, which consists of the piano without drape, the piano chair, the old rug and the wrecked chandelier. The raven on the baby carriage is by JIAN, and it’s part of their collection at Salem. I will be showing more of those in another post.

Mesh India is participating at The Gacha Guardians with their Halloween Skull Decor Gacha.  The pieces I’m using from this set are on the table, on piano and wreath above the bookcase, but you can view the gacha key here as well.

For those of you who don’t know what my title says… it basically means “Spirits run around here.”

It’s been a few months now since I last decorated a kitchen, which are really fun to do.  I just get a little challenged when it comes to trying to find the right pieces. I have lots of kitchen decor. I know it. It’s somewhere in my inventory. I just draw a blank when it comes to remembering exactly what I have. The names of the items. Scrolling through my Flickr can be useful at times. Sometimes I do remember the creator and that helps a lot too.

Like last night I asked a friend who has a big round carpet. I’ve seen this carpet all over Flickr before so I know it exists.  I just can’t recall where it’s from. Then it hit me… Consignment I asked? She laughed and said it was a difficult question. I was right on the creator. I even owned the carpet. I just had to go to their store to look up the name.

Do you all have the same problem? Tell me I’m not alone. 🙂

Today’s post is about this month’s round of Deco(c)rate. The rustic blue cabinetry is the Southern Kitchen set by Chez Moi, whose participating this month. The island is adult rated and the rest of the pieces are pg rated. It’s a lovely set that comes full of animations, some of which have rezzable props.

I’m also featuring some pieces from the Kitchen Corner gacha set by Serenity Style. The set is a previous event release and now available at the main store.  Then I’m also showing a shelf by YS&YS from one of their past gacha sets and the cross decor from Bee Designs Viva Mexico! gacha. It’s available at SaNaRae a few more days. The rest of the items used are all detailed under credits.

The Secluded House

I should probably mention that if I suddenly go missing for a few days it’s probably due to a loss of power as most of you know I’m in Florida and we have an approaching hurricane.  To say the least things have been and are a little crazy lately as most of our local stores are short on supplies and no gas to be found at any of the gas stations.  I’m staying put for the time being even though we expect to get pummeled when it makes landfall and travels up the state. While precautions have been made I’ve adopted the motto.. “What will be, will be.”

In the meantime I get to continue to show you more wonderful stuff around the grid for home and garden.  Several days ago I gave you a glimpse of the “The Secluded House” decor by 22769 that is available at the Arcade, and so today I am showcasing it on it’s own.  It’s a really amazing set that can be fully appreciated when you have advanced lighting on, especially when it comes to the portrait on the wall.  I was lucky enough to get this shot in to show how the frame looks with the lighting on, because without light it is a totally different picture.  You can see the fantastic details and the quality of the textures on the furniture even in this dark photo.

It’s always great to be able to collaborate when you get an opportunity, especially if you have such a busy blogging schedule.  This was my first time collaborating with Hara, and if you don’t know who she is you really need to go check out her work as its pretty amazing. This is my third time working with Exis and she’s super amazing as well and spectacular in style and well her very “existence” is never boring. ♥  I’ve included the links to both the girls blogs and Flickr below.

I’ve been up since very early this morning and out of the house for most of the morning and was highly tempted to get back in bed and sleep a few more hours once I got back home. Though posting won out so here you have me.  It’s a mixture of fashion and decor with my first picture as I’m wearing lingerie by VoluptasVirtualis that is available at Romp.  The sexy heels are by Empire and can be found at Collabor and a new hair release by Iconic available now at On9.

The furniture being showcased is by 22769 and it’s the minimalist set at Romp. You can find all the items from the set listed below in credits. The loft skybox is by Newchurch and it’s part of this month subscription for Builder’s Box.  The last two pictures hopefully gives you a good view of how roomy and detailed the skybox is.
