There’s no place I rather be than home

When I got this skybox to blog the first thing that caught my eye was the design. My mind started to think of how I could decorate it, to create a living space without a big emptiness in the middle and keeping in mind the view from the windows. You can see it without the furniture below. That’s where I challenged myself to completely decorate it and hoping that I would have enough prim to do so. It’s mesh and the quality of the textures are very good. It’s by Dubu and available now at SaNaRae until October 18th.

The other items that are being featured today are some of the decor pieces in the room. Some of the plants on the table and on the stairs are by .aisling. and are available at the Fantasy Collective. There are two sets: the Mandragorae includes four versions with texture change via menu and Herbae includes three versions with texture change via menu as well. Each plant is only 1 land impact.

The vase in the table with twigs and the book near it sitting on top of some other books are by Serenity Style and at LTD The Event. Unfortunately, it is the last round for this event as it was unexpectedly announced to us yesterday. I’ve included vendor pictures of both the plants and the items by Serenity below credits so there is no confusion.

The remaining pictures with the one on top of this text and below are so that you can see the details and quality of the skybox.

My credits lists is huge and while I tried my best to stay in some particular order I might have gotten distracted and wandered from side to side as I copied and pasted. Bedrooms aren’t always made for sleep

The Perfect 10 Event is still ongoing and today I’m showing one of the complete bedroom sets by Dreamland Designs that is available. The Ashley set includes the adult bed, the nightstands with everything pictured above. It includes also the foot chaise, the purse on the chair, rug, shoes on floor and puzzle.

The console table with everything pictured is by HJH Designs and is one of many other colors. The other item offered by the same creator is the chair that also matches the console table through the vase.

I’m fighting the start of a cold so I am going to be brief today as my head is spinning a little. Featured is the single bed and crib from Dysfunctional Designs at We ❤ Role-Play. Both come with texture change options for up to 7 woods. The single bed is pg and comes with 9 solo poses. There is a double bed as well not pictures that is pg and adult with the same texture options.

They conjured up an image of an early life when life might have been more simple or maybe it was much harder without the little luxuries we live with today.

Anyway, have a great err.. yeah Wednesday! I’m prone to moments of forgetfulness sometimes.

There is an air of excitement in the air as the focus has turned to Christmas now. Just like in real life there is an abundance of Black Friday sales in Second Life for you to take advantage of to buy gifts for family and friends or yourself. The times are changing

I am doing a second post today as I wanted to show a couple of items that are available today only for 25 lindens for 25L Tuesday. This is a mostly role-play/fantasy/gorean list of content creators who participate. Though I often find individual pieces or decor items that I can mix in with my own style of dress or decor.

Today for 25L Tuesday two creators that I blog for are participating. The first is Dysfunctional Designs who has the simple wooden cabinet. It has a land impact of 2, and has six texture choices for the wood. I opted to use it outside in this picture, but its uses are many. Anything your imagination comes up with. I’m also showing the simple metal fence that came out previously, except I was not able to blog it then. It is available at the main store. It has several choices for changing the metal.

The other item that I am featuring is the cobblestone path from Jian, also available today for 25L Tuesday. The path can be changed for the season by simple HUD, and there are 3 rock textures. The other thing that I like about the path is the transparent ground option, so if you just want the stones.

I picked up another bargain today for 25 lindens. That’s the wooden ironing board at Hello Tuesday.

The storm passed and the sunshine started pouring in

With the heavy rain fall that we had today these umbrellas would be just the thing to sit under just to watch the downpour. I love a good thunderstorm, though when it’s accompanied by lightning it’s best not to take that kind of chance. I took a much needed nap instead.

This wonderful piece of artistic furniture named “Next To You Chair” was created by Kuro for the upcoming round of Shiny Shabby that opens its doors tomorrow. It has 15 singles animations and 7 cuddle ones, plus 9 umbrella and 5 seat textures to choose from.

The hook thorn trees shown are from Little Branch and can be found at the Wayward Carnival event. You will also find a few other new landscape items at the event, so plan a visit.

Everyday Life in Medieval Second Life.

I had a bit of fun doing up these photos to show you the newest creation by Dysfunctional Designs. It is a medieval style castle skybox that is 133 prims rezzed and is extremely spacious with a three room layout. It has a built in waterfall cascade pool and courtyard garden space. While I didn’t attempt this… you can re-texture it as well and the wall torches can be copied. The stallion gallantly showed up, but I’m still waiting for my knight in shining armor to arrive and sweep me off my feet.

The waterfall is one of the lovely parts of this build and just to note the streams of light coming in through the windows is not part of the build. I would encourage you to visit the demo that is set up at the event site so you can see the color, textures and quality of the skybox.

I was going to attempt to decorate a bedroom, except it would have taken a bit of digging in my inventory to find the right pieces of furniture and so the food won out.

It’s the weekend and another busy day for me tomorrow, so in case I don’t get a chance to post anything everyone have a fabulous Saturday!
