The [Den.] has come out with a new skybox — the Room 341 out now at the newest round of Uber. The size is 24 x 22 x 6m and is 73 prims. One of the things to note about the builds from this creator is they are easily adaptable to fit whatever need you may have. For example this skybox can easily be used as a personal home or used for a business and modifiable to customize to your liking. The first two pictures top and bottom of the photo below show the bigger room in dark and light lighting. The other two pictures show the skybox as a double without doors, which makes it great for a store.

Featured as well is the decor wall clock by unKindness currently at the monthly Tres Chic event. It’s available in a few colors. The other items by the same creator is the table and ottoman that is below the television at the LTD Event.

To decorate the room above I used items from Finishing Touches. The yellow loungers, rugs, round table with vases and the column shelves with the accessories are the hunt gift by Finishing Touches for the Twisted Hunt. There is one other piece as part of this gift that is not pictured, which is the column shelves as stand alone.

It’s been three years since I last fully did this annual hunt. If I remember correctly you get no hints to find the twisted hunt object and there are dozens and dozens of the same object all over the store. Though the gifts for the hunt were always pretty good as evident by the prize that Finishing Touches has put together for it. There are other accompanying pieces to this set available in gacha at the store.

It’s a lazy Sunday with sweet moments

As the month ends another begins and that means new rounds of most monthly events. The All The Little Things is one of the events that is kid based in Second Life. This round will begin on March 1st 12 noon SL time and run until March 21st 10 pm SL time. Lil me is wearing a cute lady bug outfit by Monkey Pox that is the rare item in the Ladybug Love gacha. There are 2 rares that come with bows, shoes and wings and 7 commons that comes with bows.

I’m wearing top and pants from MoDANNA that are currently available at the anyBody event that will end tomorrow. They should be at the main store after the event is over. The Joie Collection has 6 color satin tops and 5 colors for the pants. It is made to fit some mesh bodies and classic.

The pose I am using is called Mommy’s Joy and is available at the All The Little Things event. Make sure you check out the rest of the great poses from this creator.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I spent most of my day outside today with those close and precious to me and basking in the cool breeze we had along with the sun shining. The perfect combination to be outdoors, at least for me.

Keep the fire burning bright

Featuring some furniture by [Noble Creations] today. The first is this antique table and chairs that are available at the Fantasy Collective. They bring a smile to my face as they remind me of my paternal grandmother’s own dining room table that was similar except hers had six chairs.

The fireplace is at the main store and comes in a dark and light version. The wall standards are now out at The Secret Affair, and come with a Hud to change to two texture choices and four color selections.

Peace and tranquility begins inside of you first

Are you all done with your Christmas decorating? I’m not. I don’t even have a house down right now. The momentum is building to create something with all these Christmas decorations that I’ve been showing. Maybe I will work on that this weekend. Maybe. I just desire to be foolishly free and unencumbered and have fun and enjoy myself again.

If you’re still looking for Christmas decor today I am showing some pieces from [CIRCA] that can be found currently for a few more days at the Color Me Project. The pouffe, bench and area rug and twig tree planter are in an exclusive winter blue color for the event. They will be discounted at 25%. Home is everywhere with you

The color scheme of this furniture gives me a sense of the winter season that will soon be upon on us in Second Life. While I enjoy the beautiful decorated winter sims it feels too soon to have the winter landscape.

This living room known as the “Waterdown” set is by Circa Living and is available at the event Sad November that runs for several more days until November 21st. The items featured are the grey/plum velvet chair that has 18 animations and the grey/navy love seat that has 40 animations. The set is available in plum and navy and includes the table, coat rack, vase, wall art, pear bowl and vase and rug. Circa has made available the trio candle stand as a gift for very little lindens.

The home that I am using is DaD Designs newest release. The Chelsea Victorian Loft is an original 100% mesh skybox. The footage is 24×23 and has a land impact of 50 with copy and modify permission.

It is laid out very nicely with a large entrance, double living room, bedroom, bathroom and a large balcony. From the creators notes, a typical Victorian apartment in the elegant area of London.

One of the great features of the loft is that it has been designed so that you can color each room with a different color and instructions are provided for you on how to do that. The picture above shows you the loft in its finishing plaster white and a wall that has been colored to give you an idea of how it looks once you paint the walls.

Her heart was like a secret garden, and the walls were getting higher

“Sometimes what we learn and who we become in the process of waiting is even more important than what we’re waiting for.”

I’m going to get a little personal in this blog post, because occasionally a picture that I take is reflective of the mood that I am in. I was sitting there last evening on this pose and realized it fit the inner struggles I was having. I won’t get into the reasons for it, other than there are changes occurring in my life that are taking me out of my comfort zone and are leaving me in a period of uncertainty at the moment. I won’t bemoan the changes… as I know that in a few years I will probably be seeing them as a blessing rather than what they seem to be now.

There is definitely some truth to the following… “there comes a point in your life when you realize what and who matters, what and who never did, what and who won’t anymore, and what and who always will.” In the end you learn what and who was fake or true.

Though luckily I was also able to use the time I was sitting there contemplating constructively by wearing some stuff that is available at the Trick or Treat event that opens in a few hours.

Specifically, referring to the skin I’m using by Zoul Creations and the socks by FDD, which are available in different colors.
