I’m using my iPad to get this post published as I don’t have access to my computer at the moment, so here’s hoping it goes without issue.

Just when I thought that there was nothing more for me to show of Fall/Autumn seasonal stuff I get these new decor items that are available at the Trick or Treat Event that runs only until November 1st. It’s an assortment of items, so check out the credits below.

There are two events coming our way soon.  The Trick or Treat Event is a very short event and will be held at The Shopping District from October 29 and runs only until November 1st.  I’ll be showing some previews from here to then starting with this midnight cat tattoo by Passion Tattoos.  It comes with most of the known appliers like Omega, Maitreya, Slink Physique, TMP as well as classic tattoo layers. It comes in light, medium and dark ink and I’m wearing the medium ink.

The next event is the second edition of Sad November that begins November 1st and will run until the 21st.   I’m wearing the military style mesh jacket by MoDANNA that will be available in several colors.  Aside from the jacket, there is a skirt, leggings and cardigan also in several colors to choose from.  I hope to show you some in the next few days.

After holding out for the longest time I finally took the plunge and dyed my hair for the very first time last week.  At age 45, I was fortunate that the grey hairs were scattered among the long strands of hair and not necessarily pronounced at the temples.  Though, it was time for a change and one that is rapidly growing on me.

Today I am featuring a new hair by Beusy that is available currently at Kustom9.  I didn’t take the risk of going with a two tone hair color in real, as those things are not easily reversible.  Though I certainly like the look on this hairstyle that I’m wearing and there is always a next time.

Eating Late

I read about this new challenge by irez.me on a fellow blogger’s site, Pics by Peeps, and thought this might be something fun and interesting to do.  The challenge seems simple enough.  Though requires blogging everyday for 26 days straight.  You are to share an item from your inventory every day that corresponds to a letter of the alphabet.  The challenge begins today on April 1st.

With an inventory that qualifies as hoarding I am pretty sure that I won’t have any trouble finding things to blog, recent and old.  It’s all about sharing your junk stuff with pride after all.

I tried to find as much items to go with the letter of the day.  Since it starts with the first letter of the alphabet “A” I choose these pajama bottoms from Apple May Designs.  They were recently purchased to just goof around in when I’m doing inventory or just at my place, which is most often.   The hair is also previous purchase from Argrace and my tank top, which I’ve blogged several times in the past, because I absolutely love it is from Amerie.  The only thing absolutely new that was purchased today before I learned of this challenge is the pose set from Ausha&Co.

This week Strawberry has an interesting meme, which deals with the Zodiac and your thoughts surrounding it.    As always, the instructions are provided for those who would like to participate.   Part of this week’s challenge is for you to create a picture that related or had something to do with your Zodiac sign.   I’m wearing a necklace that represents my sign.

  • What is your birthday and/or Zodiac sign? – I’m an Aries, being born on April 1st.   Yes, I get the fool jokes each year and I LOVE my birthday day.  😛
  • Do you believe in or follow astrology? – Yes, I do believe in astrology.  No, I do not follow it.  I have a very good friend who is an astrologer, who has provided me with wonderful advice over the years based on transits in my astrological chart that have helped me grow in understanding some of my impulses, desires and motivations.  I tend to view the information like other information you might receive and process and then up to you on how or whether you use the information.   Astrology can guide you, though should not be a total basis for decision making.
  • Do you feel your sign’s attributes reflect who you are? – There are attributes that fit me very well and others that don’t.   Though as one blogger highlighted and having learned from my friend, it’s not as simple as just what your sun sign is.  There are other things involved, such as the time and place of your birth.
  • Have you ever been to a psychic or astrologer either in RL or in SL (are there any in SL?) As mentioned, my friend has provided me with an astrological chart.   I have no idea on the Second Life part of the question.
  • Do you read your horoscope daily and try to follow any advice, recommendations or warnings it may have for you that day? No.  On occasion they have been the fun topic of discussion on a Sunday morning when my siblings are gathered for an all family breakfast and someone has the newspaper out and they  come across the horoscopes and read everyone’s horoscope for the day.  Especially, when we have quite a mix of signs in our family, it’s a barrel of laughs when you find something amusing to poke fun at.
  • Do you have very strong feelings about astrology, either negative or positive?  No, I don’t have any strong feelings about it either way.  I think this is a personal choice and you have a right to what you think or believe.  It’s when you run judgment or try to impart your view on others, that you have to start to draw the line.  Personally, I’m always open to hear people’s views on any subject, whether it’s positive or negative.  I think it’s the worst thing to be closed minded about things that you have no real knowledge of.
