It’s been super cold almost every day this week and today seems the worse.  I like the cold, but preferably when I’m indoors and snuggled under blankets or piled on clothes with a hot cup of cocoa.

Today I’m showcasing the skin May I’m wearing from [PUMEC] at the Skin Fair.  May is made for Catwa and comes in a few different tones named after months. It does not come with a shape.  I’m using the Elsa shape from Bold & Beauty also at the Skin Fair.  The other items featured are the necklace and drink, see details below.

It’s that time of year for sure where you see pumpkins galore in real and virtually here in Second Life.  If you missed out on this past week’s Fifty Linden Friday, then you missed these great baskets of pumpkin by Hive. Though you’ll be able to find them at the main store and really make for some nice decor for this season.

I’m also showcasing items from the month’s subscription box to Deco(c)rate. If you’re not familiar with this decor subscription, then I invite you to visit their website for more information and also how to find out where to purchase the mystery box. I” give you the short version that it’s a monthly mystery box filled with original mesh home and garden decor.  You get a about 15 different items from some of the best known designers.

This month’s theme is Harvest Moon and Convair is participating with the Berkshire Barn. The barn has weathered and worn wood detail with tall rafters. It’s original design and mesh, with scripted doors and access control. It has a land impact of 136, and is scaleable, but you run the risk of a higher impact.

Serenity Style is another participant this month with the Raven Dream in the Porch Bench with pumpkin decor box and flying leaves. The land impact is 1 for the leaves – 5 for pumpkin decor and 7 for bench.

I wasn’t anticipating being in the picture, but when I had my camera set and I was standing just in the middle I sat down on the bench and I ended up changing the angle slightly.  This also allowed me to feature the boots by Mosquito’s Way, which are available at The Liaison Collaborative.

Not being so much of a fashionista I tend to have some difficulty in finding poses that will work to convey a story, thought or emotion. I have lots and lots of poses, but going through them all to find one is more of a hassle as I’m always ready to move on to the next thing.  I think the girls are arguing with each other, hence my title.

Morning everyone! Today is a simple sort of post showcasing another home in the Builder’s Box subscription event.  This is a quarterly event with nothing but homes and skyboxes.  The pre-ordering for the next subscription will be July 15th so visit the website for more information, plus you can view the catalog of the homes in May.  The Daphne cottage is a one room home by Lagom, that has some lovely features like the wall in the top photo that cast some great light and shadows.

I’m also wearing the flower crown by Astralia, which is currently at Shiny Shabby. The crown comes with a HUD for changing the colors.  The cute dog next to me is from the Cheeky Chihuahuas gacha set by JIAN at the Arcade. This is the comfy blanket one and is a rare in the set.

This picture not planned  is what ultimately turned out to be my day. One of just relaxation after a somewhat busy weekend. I rested and read a book and did very little else other than a quick trip to the grocery store. I don’t do this very often in second life, so it’s only right that I take advantage in my real life. I know you all agree.

I’m showing items from two events today and a couple of creators that I blog for. Most of what I’m wearing.. the skin, eyes, hair, tattoo and top are all from designers at On9.

What I remember of the 90s was that I was really busy finishing school in the early years and the start of my career. The rest seems sort of a blur now. I’m mixing a few events in this post starting with a new hair by Vanity at Tres Chic. This is a fun hair style and something every girl should try once just to let loose and let those hairs swing.

The t-shirt with a nice quote is by The Annex and it’s available at Enchantment. This one has “A dream is a wish your heart makes,” though there are a few others as well. The boots is one of the latest releases by Astralia for the Rewind 90s Throwback Event.  It comes with a color hud to change the actual heels, giving you 8 color options. The last item being featured is the pupperbot by JIAN and the poster behind me, also for the Rewind Event.

The event is ongoing until to the end of the month, so make sure you go check it out before then.

The weekend went by too fast and already the week is starting off on a busy note, so my posts will be somewhat erratic to when I can find time to get it posted.

Today I am featuring a new hair release by eXxEsS called Mermelada, which translated means Jam.  It’s rigged mesh, so you won’t be able to resize or move it.  The newest hairs have the “breeze” technology, which animates the hair as you move around.  I find this a really cool feature that gives you a bit of what I miss from the flexi hair days. The hair is available in two color packs A and B; the difference is that the A Pack has 56 single-tone colors and the B Pack has 56 multi-tone colors.  The link takes you to the demo in market place, so try it out first.

I’m showing some new ugg style boots by Empire, available at Sad November. The Aconitum as they’re called, are 100% original mesh, come in 20 shoe colors via HUD that lets you change parts individually.  They are made to fit the Belleza Freya, Venus, Isis, Slink Hourglass and Physique, Maitreya and The Mesh Project.

Most of the decor is from the newest gacha release by THOR for the new round of 6 Republic. The gacha set is called “Old Dirty Coffeeshop” and I’ve used all the pieces and have listed them below. The vintage slot machine is by [Schultz Bros.], that was recently released at Cosmopolitan, but should be available now at the store.  I’m showing the brown version, but you’ll be able to find it in a few other colors as well.

The remaining item that I am featuring is the cute PeeWee Puffs in a tea cup by JIAN for The Gacha Garden.  It’s a gacha set, so these are just a couple of the cuteness you can have by taking a chance at the gacha machines.
