I was going to use “happy Monday” as the start of this blog post, except fellow blogger and friend said those two words don’t go together. It made me smile and think about how I view it.  I really can’t say that I ever had a problem with Monday or any day really.  They all come and go, sometimes too quickly or those days we say it’s been a long day.

I’ve really been enjoying all the holiday decorating that’s been put into these scenes and hope that you have too.

Every quarter a new subscription of the Builder’s Box is released and this quarter the theme is Christmas Village, which is just in time to help you decorate and celebrate Christmas in Second Life.

Since it’s a little early for snow for me plus I’m not ready to leave the Autumn weather behind I choose to decorate in this season instead. I’m featuring the Selah Church by Spargel & Shine Homes, who has given us the option of having this building with or without snow. It carries a land impact of 81 and with just a click of the switch on the inside near the front doors it brings up the menu that allows snow on the roof and on the ground surrounding the church.

To complete the scene I am using the Valkenberg Wall Set by N4RS, available now at FaMESHed. It comes with a few pieces to help you build your own wall set to fit your needs, whether its just a small section near your home or if you want to enclose your whole surroundings.  The set also includes a park bench and street light.  I’m also showcasing the old memory bicycle by DaD Design, also available at FaMESHed. The bicycle is available in two versions, one as shown and the other a winter edition. It has a land impact of 6, with the winter version at 10 and each comes with single and couple poses.

Autumn colors

I mentioned in my “Breakfast for dinner anyone?” post that I would be showcasing the Gilley Lake House by Thistle again.  Here it is once more with another room decorated with the country home set by Cheeky Pea and other decor items by various creators all listed below in credits.

The lake house is being shown without the steps in front or back.  It has a 127 land impact with a 23 x 23 footprint. You can change the colors of the inside walls with a texture change menu accessed by touching the keys near the front door. It has scripted doors & windows and is original mesh and provided as copy and mod. The picture below coming from the angle from the room where I showed the kitchen decor gives you somewhat of a view of the floor plan and colors.

Breakfast for dinner anyone?

Happy Monday!! It already feels like a long day for me and it’s just pass the noon hour so I still have hours to go before giving it a rest.  I’ll just get write into telling you about this wonderful spread of goodies I am showing today.  The house I’m using is the Gilley Lake House by Thistle, for the August round of Builder’s Box.  I know I’m not showing much but a corner, but I promise that I’ll be showing more in a coming soon post.

Apple Fall has released some kitchen clutter that is absolutely perfect and just so ridiculously realistic that you want to bring it home with you, even my real one! I’ve been up since very early this morning and out of the house for most of the morning and was highly tempted to get back in bed and sleep a few more hours once I got back home. Though posting won out so here you have me.  It’s a mixture of fashion and decor with my first picture as I’m wearing lingerie by VoluptasVirtualis that is available at Romp.  The sexy heels are by Empire and can be found at Collabor and a new hair release by Iconic available now at On9.

The furniture being showcased is by 22769 and it’s the minimalist set at Romp. You can find all the items from the set listed below in credits. The loft skybox is by Newchurch and it’s part of this month subscription for Builder’s Box.  The last two pictures hopefully gives you a good view of how roomy and detailed the skybox is.

Today’s post is featuring new and old releases of home decor.  The August round of Builder’s Box is out now with some fantastic homes and skyboxes.  I’m showcasing the New York Basement Loft by KraftWork. It’s a 12×12 foot print with 172 land impact and 100% mesh original skybox with working doors and includes a frame and candles (last two not shown).  You can learn all about Builder’s Box and how to purchase new and old subscription boxes by visiting the website.

I’m also delighted to have been chosen to blog for Cheeky Pea and today I’m featuring another recent release. The Cosy Cottage Sofa is available currently for a few more days at N21.  It’s three versions of the sofa that are available also in either PG or Adult version. It has a land impact of 8, and animations for singles and couples.

I’m featuring several decor pieces from Zen Creations, which are previous releases and available now at the Main Store.  The items are from two separate sets — the Cosmopolitan and Contempo sets, but all work together quite nicely.  Then also a snuggle lounger too.  Go check out this store in-world if you haven’t already.

Morning everyone! Today is a simple sort of post showcasing another home in the Builder’s Box subscription event.  This is a quarterly event with nothing but homes and skyboxes.  The pre-ordering for the next subscription will be July 15th so visit the website for more information, plus you can view the catalog of the homes in May.  The Daphne cottage is a one room home by Lagom, that has some lovely features like the wall in the top photo that cast some great light and shadows.

I’m also wearing the flower crown by Astralia, which is currently at Shiny Shabby. The crown comes with a HUD for changing the colors.  The cute dog next to me is from the Cheeky Chihuahuas gacha set by JIAN at the Arcade. This is the comfy blanket one and is a rare in the set.
