It’s been a while since I’ve brought the little one out and this weekend past was a lazy kind at my house so I had time to indulge.  She’s participating in the PENUMBRA Autumn/Winter 2016 Fashion Week so you’ll see her a little more around the middle of next month.

Today she’s wearing a cute outfit by Buglets that is currently available at Color Me Cute.  There are 4 options to choose from and each comes with 2 dress options & a HUD with 12 shirt options.

I’m also showing this cute car by Mushilu that comes adorned with flying leaves and with poses. You can find it at Tres Chic in several colors.

Welcoming the change in season

The Fall season is my favorite when it comes to weather as it’s always not so hot and muggy here in Florida and just about the right breeze.  Though, I don’t get the changing of the leaves as much here in my real world, in Second Life, it’s one of best seasons to take photos due to all the rich colors.  I’m in complete awe with some of the amazing photos people are creating that I see come across my Flickr stream.  It definitely inspires me to want to go out and explore.  I welcome any mention of sims that are worth visiting.

Today I am showcasing a couple of items that I am wearing.  The first is a recent new hair release by enVOGUE.  The Milly is rigged mesh and is an avant-garde hairstyle that has a classic bun style and pulled to the front in a braided tail.  It’s modern and quite chic.  This hairstyle is available in 96 colors, root colors and 16 ombre, which are easily accessible through a HUD.  It’s available at the main store.

The next item featured today is the Miu shoes by N-Core, which are mesh body compatible {Xtreme Feet, Maitreya, The Mesh Project, Belleza and Slink}.  Perfect ankle boots for this season that’s for sure to bring some cool day and nights ahead. There are 14 options available that can be purchased individually or as a fatpack. Currently available at Kustom9 until October 10th, then afterwards you can find them at the main store.

I’m back…even though I never got an opportunity to mention that I would be gone for a few days and without internet.  My apologies for that as I just didn’t have the time to log in and do one more post.  Then somewhere between that time period and now I’ve misplaced the memory stick where I had saved those photos.

In any case I’m ready to once again show you some wonderful items from all over the grid.  It might be a little slow going at first as a knee injury has flared up and I’m limping at the moment.

Today I am featuring several items and I’ll start with what I am wearing.  It’s going to be a rather long post for one picture, so I will try and include more pictures next time.  The hair and hat is by No.Match and available at this newly opened round of On9, that started on September 9th.  No.Joke and it’s the name of the hair/hat combo and great for this fall weather that is upon us now.  The sweater top is by [Lakshmi] and also at On9.  It’s available in several colors and there is a skirt that is available as well to fit the top.

The Royalty Leggings I am wearing is a new release by Wazzer Works and will soon be available at the newest round of The Secret Affair that begins September 15th. This is the start of their Fall 2016 line, so hope to show you more of their creations soon.  The heels I am wearing is a new release by Empire and available at Collabor88.  The Hebe heels includes 15 colors in the color hud and they are mesh body compatible.

I’m holding a money duffel bag by (epia) available at their main store.  The name of the 100% mesh bag is “Make it Rain” and literally it can rain lindens. It’s HUD-controllable, and has the ability to throw money stacks that can pay real linden dollars to those who walk over or touch them.  The amount can be changed via the HUD.  It has 10 different texture/color options, and 4 bag versions that allows you to wear the bag on your hand, arm, chest or back.

The remaining items that I am featuring in today’s post is the egret, which is by TLC and it’s available at the Spoonful of Sugar festival that I mentioned in my last post benefits the Doctors without Borders/Medicins Sans Frontieres. Visit the website for more information.  The cherry trees in the background are the latest new release by Little Branch at On9, which are four seasons that can be accessed via the menu.  The pink and green bushes along the lit pathway are also by Little Branch and available at The Chapter Four event.

Doing a second post today as I’ve been trying to catch up a little in the last days I’ve been able to log.  What I am showing is this delightful garden set by unKindness, which is available at this round of Collabor88. There’s so much you can do with this set, either indoors or outdoors and the pieces range from 1 land impact to 5 and benches have about 10 sitting animations.  The other decor items being featured are the little birds chandelier and the twisted oak bird bath, which are new releases for Whimsical.  These two come in a light or dark version.

Just in case you missed me in the picture… I’m right there on the ground enjoying the summer heat as the birds sing a melody. Only in Second Life can I really enjoy being outside in 80 and above degrees Fahrenheit weather.  I’m wearing a boho top and denim skirt by [Lakshmi] available now at the ongoing round of On9. You have 3 more days to catch the great designs and savings at this event.

Taking a moment to myself

On Sunday I will be traveling and not sure how often or how good my internet will be to log in and blog.  This means I have from today until Sunday when I leave to be able to get in as many posts done in both blogs to show some of the great things you can find at ongoing events.

Today I am featuring a few things from all over the grid.  The first are these amazing peacocks by JIAN at Collabor88, which is celebrating their 5th birthday. It’s been only 3 days since they opened and trying to get in right now may prove to be a little difficult.  The peacocks come in a worn, rezzable or static version, plus two texture options.  Shown is the blue texture, the other is albino and all this for just $288L during the event only.

The wood bench is by Industry 7, available at the newest round of The Liaison Collaborative.  Two versions, a wood or metal and each come with 13 female/male sitting animations and 6 couple.  I need to point out that I am not using any of the sitting animations in the chair.  This is due to the fact that I needed a pose that would show off the shoes and dress a bit better and the sits in the chair are more geared to wearing pants or dresses that are straight.

On9 opened its doors on August 9th and I’m wearing this lovely striped dress by Snowpaws, a women’s fashion store that has been around a long time. You will be able to find this original mesh dress in 5 options of the stripe and non kind.

The last item being featured are the shoes. On August 14th, “In Your Shoes” will open it’s doors and Oh lala! is participating with these heels called Popy. They are white with a color bow in front and in back with a ribbon that weaves around the heel and are made to fit the Slink high feet.

Your support of this event by buying shoes will go a long way.  As 30% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Mexican Diabetes Association in support with Virtual Miss Latin America Organization.

Walking away from those things that no longer serve me

The words seem to be stuck in my head this morning as I get to writing this post.  I had one of those nights where I slept like a log, but then woke up with a dream playing in my head and so I feel a little sluggish still even if half my day is almost gone.  I have racing thoughts going on of what I need to accomplish later today in between the two appointments I have this afternoon The list being checked off and yet you have this thought niggling in the back of your mind that you’re forgetting something.  In my case nothing new. I am quite forgetful already as it is.

Anyway, it’s Friday and hope some of you are off to a good start for the weekend ahead. Today I am showing another prop by Industry 7, the City Wall Set that is part of their Urban Studio gacha at The Epiphany.  I’m only showing a partial view of the wall, plus I put together two side by side for this scene.  The other item is trashcan prop with the catchy saying.

The other item that I am featuring today are the Triteleia heels by Empire. These over the knee lace up heels are just the kind of shoes a girl needs for a Friday night. Empire makes some of the hottest shoes in-world and if you like these then join the VIP Group for a minimal cost of only $499L to stay up to date on new releases and get some amazing group gifts like I’m wearing.  These are made to fit several bodies, the Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Physique, Venus and Maitreya, which I am using.  It includes a hud with 2o colors to choose from, so it’s really a great bargain.  I look forward to showing some more fabulous shoes from this creator in the near future.
