I’ve somehow yielded to a cold and like everyone I hate being sick.  Hopefully, it will be short lived.  In the meantime. I’ve got all this wonderful stuff to show you.  The cabin is by Convair for this round of Builder’s Box.  If you don’t know about this event, it’s a subscriber box for homes/skyboxes.  I encourage you to visit the website to learn all about it.

Frosty days

I was going to use “happy Monday” as the start of this blog post, except fellow blogger and friend said those two words don’t go together. It made me smile and think about how I view it.  I really can’t say that I ever had a problem with Monday or any day really.  They all come and go, sometimes too quickly or those days we say it’s been a long day.

I’ve really been enjoying all the holiday decorating that’s been put into these scenes and hope that you have too.

It’s that time of year for sure where you see pumpkins galore in real and virtually here in Second Life.  If you missed out on this past week’s Fifty Linden Friday, then you missed these great baskets of pumpkin by Hive. Though you’ll be able to find them at the main store and really make for some nice decor for this season.

I’m also showcasing items from the month’s subscription box to Deco(c)rate. If you’re not familiar with this decor subscription, then I invite you to visit their website for more information and also how to find out where to purchase the mystery box. I” give you the short version that it’s a monthly mystery box filled with original mesh home and garden decor.  You get a about 15 different items from some of the best known designers.

This month’s theme is Harvest Moon and Convair is participating with the Berkshire Barn. The barn has weathered and worn wood detail with tall rafters. It’s original design and mesh, with scripted doors and access control. It has a land impact of 136, and is scaleable, but you run the risk of a higher impact.

Serenity Style is another participant this month with the Raven Dream in the Porch Bench with pumpkin decor box and flying leaves. The land impact is 1 for the leaves – 5 for pumpkin decor and 7 for bench.

I wasn’t anticipating being in the picture, but when I had my camera set and I was standing just in the middle I sat down on the bench and I ended up changing the angle slightly.  This also allowed me to feature the boots by Mosquito’s Way, which are available at The Liaison Collaborative.

Title ~ Zen Proverb

A little more zen decor for you all to enjoy from this month’s Deco(c)rate.  The zen bath house is from Convair with a 50 land impact and has scripted doors and windows. There are single and couple animations in the bath.  The soothing fountain in the corner of the home is by Peaches and has sound that can be turned on and off.

The zen dinner set is Pewpew! It’s a wonderful set that I rezzed as shown, though can be moved around to your comfort.  The place-mat on click brings up the menu that gives you four choices of soup. The chairs come with solo and couple seating animations.  The chestnut trees are by Little Branch and also part of this months Deco(c)rate subscription box. The Canadian red maple is also by Little Branch, but this can be found at this current round of On9.

The last items being featured is the new manor fence kit by unKindness.  It’s available now at the current round FaMESHed. I’ve seen various ways people have utilized this kit and I have to say it really is a great addition for any home and garden or even sim decor.
