The last days of summer

I’m really excited as we move into this next season as it is one of my favorite in and out of SL.  The weather won’t start to get cool here until another month, though it will be a welcome change from the oppressive heat we sometimes get during the summer months.

I though that my summer postings were done… so not quite.  Though great setting for the weekend that is here and for America, it’s also a long weekend as it’s Labor Day on Monday.   The Praiano table set is by Chez Moi and at Cosmopolitan, which is the event being featured.

I’m wearing an outfit by Scandalize. It’s available in 21 color options with each having two top versions.  It’s also available at Cosmo.  The hair is a new release by eXxEsS and at the main store.

The topiary trees and the tree to the side is by Little Branch.  The topiary is the item for Hello Tuesday, but I just checked and it’s still available for half off.  The floor pillows with pillow holder, fire pit and pillow box is by Nerenzo and at Cosmo.

The last item is the coastal outdoor seating by Shutter Field & Decor Junction.  It can be found at Shiny Shabby.

The Savannah

Galland Homes released a new home almost a week ago.  The Savannah, is described as a southern style beach home.  Just as  you see it pictured it includes a wrap around porch on the outside and the inside you’ll find an abundance of rooms with enough space for everyday living.  I’ve included some details below credits, but also visit Galland Homes Blog to get more details on what this new lovely home offers.

I’m also showcasing a new release by Anhelo.  The block wall and gate post fence set by Anhelo is currently at the Kagami Event that is ongoing until August 28th.  The coastal boathouse on the far end on the side of the house is by DaD Designs. It is this past month’s group gift, which may still be available. You can get a better view here and make sure to take a peek at the rest of the creators amazing designs.

The other item being featured in today’s post is by Shutter Field & Decor Junction for Shiny Shabby.  The rustic outdoor bar with swing type seats is just what you need to finish off the rest of the summer time enjoying the sun and some outdoor fun and drinks.

The home comes with instructions as to how to rezz, how to use the home control system, and how to change wall textures. Chadow maps for floors and ceilings have been provided as well.

Morning everyone!  It’s all about home decor today with this post as I’m showing the latest gacha release by Haikei, the “Change Your Mind” at Kustom9.  Now Haikei didn’t identify the items in their description so find the key here. There are 8 commons and 1 rare being the building that I’m showcasing all the decor in.  The table with chairs, plant in corner, frames against the wall, books on side table and hanging lamp are all part of the gacha as well as the pillows on the floor.

The guacamole y la cerveza decor on the table is by Ionic and part of the “La Hacienda” gacha set at The Chapter Four. The hanging headboard and bed are a collaboration by Shutter Field & Decor Junction at the Home Show.

The latest release by JIAN is the Pupper Parlor Gacha at The Epiphany.  I’m showing only two yorkies of the 14 commons and 3 rares in the set, which you can find the key here.  Two other items from the Home Show include the tulip floor lamp by The Half Moon Market and the 50s record player by FIN *Relive The Fifties*.   Both of which can be found in other colors.  The last items being featured today are by Zen Creations, which are the shelf decor with the vase with flowers, tea candles and frame and then the candle on the table there. You can find both these items at the main store, not new releases but fairly recent.

Storytelling

This picture was born out of the request from a creator if we could include avatars in the blog post using their decor — to see some form of emotion, tension or message that creates a story that others can identify with.  Most often than not I don’t like to pose myself in decor pictures, because I want the focus to be on the decor and not myself unless I am also showcasing fashion.

Though it was a reasonable request that I felt that I could manage and since I had some sexy pieces of lingerie that I needed to also blog the idea for me, myself and I came to fruition.  The decor is the club sofa set by N4RS available now at FaMESHed, which is made up of the brown sofa, decorative table beside it with the candle and rug.  The black lingerie is by V/. VoluptasVirtualis and it’s at the Crystal Heart Festival with the hair I’m wearing by No.Match at The Liaison Collaborative. The scarlet harness set is by The Forge and this is at the recently open new round of The Fantasy Collective.

Good morning, as it’s still morning here for me and I’m still somewhat groggy from a late night and little sleep. I definitely need a shot of caffeine, but more like a coke or even a root beer rather than coffee. When it’s so unbearably hot I can’t fathom drinking hot liquids or even having any type of soup unless it’s French onion soup, because that’s one of my favorites.

Before I start rambling I’ll move on to what I’m showing today.  It’s sort of a mixture of fashion and decor and it’s from several sponsors who are at events and then items from Cosmopolitan.

It’s a busy week for me as I try to wrap up a project in real life so you might be getting a few posts without much commentary.

Visiting Santorini

Tres Chic opened its doors a few days ago and if you’ve been then you know it’s all about ancient Greece as the theme this month is all things “Grecian.”  The event is ongoing until July 5th. I’m featuring buildings and decor by Serenity Style, {Your Dreams}, Shutter Field & Decor Junction that can be found at the event.

Happy Wednesday! My apologies for no description with my picture yesterday, as I would have wanted to write a little something on the items I was featuring. I just didn’t have the energy resources for doing more.  I won’t go into details, though I’m experiencing some reoccurring health issues that hopefully will be sorted out soon.

Today I’m featuring items by Shutter Field in collaboration with Decor Junction, [Tia] and Tukinowaguma.  I’ll start with the decor, the garden room is available at this round of Shiny Shabby by Shutter Field/Decor Junction and it’s in two versions, white as shown and a rustic.  The other item by these same creators is the whale towel holder, which is a new release at Home & Garden Expo. It seemed to go perfect with the rest of the items being featured.

The bathroom set, which is made up of the silver bathtub, plank rug, canopy, chair, flower vase, side table and water jugs is by [Tia] for this round of Shiny Shabby. It’s a delightful set with only a 23 land impact.  You also get a texture change menu for the chair, giving you 7 options on colors.  The last item is the hair worn, which is the swept up new hair release by Tukinowaguma at the new round of Tres Chic.

Learning to relax and let go is a must these days

This is where I wish to be right now, because who doesn’t need some relaxation from some of the stresses in their life right now. My day hasn’t started out as planned and I’m running into some road blocks, but I’m at the point that I’m just going to let it be what it will be.
