There is a new event that opens today that is catering to the men of SecondLife, it’s named The Arena.  It will target the medieval, fantasy and the role-play genre and the event will take place on a quarterly basis with the first event opening today.  [MeshedUP] is participating in this round with these goggles and flask that came in various colors.  I’m wearing the female version and like a lot of products in SecondLife you will find that many items are either made unisex or can still be worn by females with some adjustments.

I sort of splurged on grabbing this limited edition bike, because it looked really cool and it also brought up some good memories.

The magical ride 011-1

I’m having a late lunch at my desk having spent a good portion of my morning on the phone.  No worries about crumbs on this post, as that part of lunch is long over and I’m just sipping on a tropical mango smoothie as I sit here typing this and flipping through the news.   I’m giggling at the story of the Frenchman who was attempting to smuggle his new Russian bride, who didn’t have the proper visa into Europe in a suitcase a couple days ago.

Maybe he ought to get a magic carpet and sweep her away instead.  It’s bound to be a bit more comfortable than having all your limbs scrunched to fit into a compact space.

Some people call it an act of stupidity and others call it an act of love.  What do you think?

[ARIA] at The Men’s Dept.

It’s the first days of the month and that always signals the newest rounds of ongoing events.  That means that in a couple of days the next round of The Men’s Department is opening up and [ARIA] has a new mini bedroom set called “Aidan”  that includes a bed that will be available in both PG or adult, a side table and table light.  The bed has single and couple animations with rezzable and auto attach props and as always you can find texture change options to suit your color palette with both the bed and the table light.  The event starts on the 5th of January and this bedroom set will be heavily reduced just for the event.

I used the retreat home by The [Den.] that I featured the day before and also some of the living room set that I also blogged in the last few days from [ARIA].   Both of these sets can be found at the newest round of Uber.  While not extremely noticeable in the pictures though used as a background are the 4-season trees by Sweet Revolutions that are available for 30L Saturday today.  They are no copy, but a great bargain nonetheless.   If you want another bargain and like ancient things, the Egyptian statue with a side plant can be found at Storax Tree for only 10L.

Heart Homes/Aphrodite Shops recently released this Autumn love nest home that is available at Room69 until November 20th.   It has some lovely details like the ivy that wraps around the poles and the intricate heart shape decor on the doors just to name a few.  It really makes for a nice home.  I’m also showing this pumpkin cart and blanket set from [CIRCA], which has 24 animations built into the blanket and two in the cart.

Today I thought that due to circumstance that made me process things differently that I had reached a definitive decision with a certain situation in my life.  Just as I was gathering my thoughts by writing them out — there was a song that I came across last night that was still sitting in my browser window to listen to.   As the song “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz finished I just picked the next one down the line.

Now over the years I’ve learned to be more in tune to things in my life and one of the things that has been very prevalent in my life are signs that come almost without any asking. Obviously, saying this I don’t live my life by signs, but rather trusting my rational and logical side, my intelligence, knowledge, thoughts, feelings and inner voice.

Still writing down my thoughts I was just half listening to the lyrics of the song as it was playing when the words “I won’t give up” penetrated through the busyness of trying to finish capturing my thoughts. Stopping I looked up the lyrics and listened to the song.

To say the least.  I won’t give up just yet.

There is a new event that will be coming to the grid on October 10th and running through the 26th. The “Mystic Realms Faire” has about 150 designers participating showing us their fantastic creations.

I’m giving a preview of a couple of items that will be available.   This lovely Reverie Starlight set from Empyrean Forge that consists of the necklace, earrings and rings.  It comes with a texture change HUD that gives you several options of colors for you to choose to fit your outfit for the day.  One of the things I was particularly impressed aside from the fantastic details on the jewelry, is the remote option that allows you to grant permission to someone close by to adjust or resize the piece for you. Great for those challenged by this.

The other item that I’m featuring is the Anawyn outfit, which is the leather harness top, double slit skirt with arm bands from Sakide.  I think the picture alone tells you how stunning this dress is from the details you can see in the first photo and will be available in several colors.

Oh yeah my thoughts were on the upcoming faire. 🙂
