Some home decor items to show you today.  The Fantasy Collective is now open and Jian brings you the Demilune set, which includes the sofa, chair, coffee table, a side table, book and candle decor.  With this set you get the option of texture change on all the wood. To be exact about 7 choices there.  I find that I’m always going for the darker wood versions, so I thought maybe a little changing up here would be good.  This is the grey wood that I’m displaying.  The rug also has a texture option that gives you six choices in color.   You can find this set in PG and Adult version with loads of animations in each.

I’m using the boxwood shrubs in the background just outside the window again that are from Jian, a recently released set that works with a HUD to give you the option of choosing the season you want.  It’s summer here so I did a mixture of that and spring.

I am wearing some new items that MoDANNA has at the Manga Fair.  The Sakura Collection, is a kawaii punk inspired collection that includes the jacket and skirt shown here.  You will find the jacket in 6 pastel colors and the skirt in 6 patterns, but that’s not all in the collection.  You can also find ties and kawaii socknimals (applier socks with animal print at top) that can be mixed and matched with all the items.

It’s been a long day that began too early for me to make a breakfast engagement at 7:30 a.m.  I’m a night owl and getting up before the crack of dawn isn’t my favorite thing to do or eating so early either.  Somehow  I managed to eat eggs, bacon, hash browns and a pancake to boot.   I was ready to take a nap once I got to work from that overload of food!

It’s a short week for most of us here in the US with Thanksgiving, which means everyone is scrambling to get things done.  I meant to post this early if I got an opportunity… that just didn’t happen.

If you missed these South Asian pillows and rugs when they were available at a past Genre event you can find them now at the [CIRCA] store.  I love all the colors and the texturing is excellent, clear and the details are stunning.  The pillows comes with several poses and I think both the rugs and pillows can work with many decor styles.

Juggler

Over the weekend the temperatures dipped into the mid 40s, which is a bit chilly for us Floridians when you’re used to an average of 80 plus degrees of sunshine.   It was a nice change even if I hardly went out other than a few times out of necessity. Besides the chilly day yesterday I was also in a very restless mood that as the day went on juggled between feeling emotional and downright grumpy. Thankfully, no one was harmed during this episode of changeability.

I spent a good amount of time doing inventory while in Second Life, not necessarily deleting, more like organizing and rewriting descriptions to be able to find items in the future.  It’s how I found myself wearing this cape and fools hat that were a gacha purchase at the recent round of the Fantasy Collective, which is still running for a few more days.

While editing the photo I did a quick search on the fool and found this snippet of information on what the fool means in a card reading.

“The Fool can signal a new beginning or change of direction – one that will guide you onto a path of adventure, wonder and personal growth. He also reminds you to keep your faith and trust your natural responses. If you are facing a decision or moment of doubt, the Fool tells you to believe in yourself and follow your heart no matter how crazy or foolish your impulses may seem.”

Considering that I have always found that when I’m feeling restlessness that it signals a time of transition in my life, this descriptive meaning couldn’t have fit any better.

Another post to show some more decorative items that Aphrodite Shops has released for Halloween. The effects of each of the items are pretty cool. If you get close to the picture frame with the walking zombies it falls forward and the other the eyes do a strange  thing.   If you get near the black splatter mark on the floor it activates a zombie coming out of the floor and not pictured is the zombie girl that comes through the wall if you stumble into the wall. Get near the books and it activates the writer’s spirit!  Spooky!

I got this crown at the new round of Fantasy Collective that opens today to use for some future post.  Well it sort of worked out using it with this highland wedding gown that was a gacha item at The Gathering event that was recently held. I think that I might just go walking out on the grid with this gown.  I need a veil after all.

What’s love got ….

When I rezzed this love box sign last night for this scene it made me think of Tina Turner’s song, “What’s love got to do with it” and it’s still playing in my head this morning.  It made me feel like dancing and so I’ve parked myself on a dance floor at a long ago visited club listening to the rhythm and soul tunes the DJ is spinning as I write this post.  Just what the doctor ordered.

Being a part of the Fantasy Collective group I got early access last night so I took a quick look and came away with this outfit that I’m wearing from Yasum.  The Fantasy Collective opens tomorrow and my sneak peak showed that there will be a lot of great stuff as usual.   I am sporting a tattoo from “La Malvada Mujer,” which translates to the evil or wicked woman, that is available at the Victims of Ink event.  It fits the mood.

I’m excited today.  This morning one of my real life friends that I’ve known for many years sent me an email that he had joined Second Life.   He’s always known I inhabit this world and from time to time will ask me about it, though has always resisted joining.  I don’t blame him.  It will be kind of a new experience to catch up with each other from time to time in-world with avatars being that I’m in America and he’s in Europe.

I went a little risque with this outfit and a bit out of my norm.  I was in a classic sour mood last evening, the kind of day that triggers that part of you that just throws caution to the wind.  Thankfully, today is another day and so far its been good.  I even got to spend some time this morning with my SecondLife sister and mother listening to one of the grid’s favorite country musicians, Johnny Paramour.  It’s been ages since we’ve all been in the same room together due to time zones, schedules and other distractions that often make it hard to just hang out.  Though you have to appreciate those times when you can and enjoy the moment.

I am wearing a few items that will be available tomorrow when the Jewelry Fair opens up.  The first are these face jewels from Sad Harlekin that are called the chains of war that can be worn with either one, three or no gems at all.  The gems colors are red, black and white and come in male and female version.  They have a little skull and so I teamed it up with this hat that came with a hair purchase and this necklace, which is also going to be available at the jewelry fair.  The skull and roses necklace is from 22769 and will be available in three colors – black, pink and white.  The other item that will be available starting tomorrow are these Samantha bracelets from Goth1co, that are easily adjustable to fit your arms.  I will post the link tomorrow to the Jewelry Fair and remember you have until the 28th of September to go pick up some fabulous jewelry pieces.

The landmark to the Jewelry Fair will be posted tomorrow after it opens.

I always have good intentions of blogging things that I like and put together during the actual event.
