If you’re still holding on to the summer season then you’re really going to like this new gacha set by Concept} called Bali at the new round of Kustom9 that began yesterday.  There are 15 pieces in the set with 3 being rare and all 100% mesh.

I’m also wearing a new hairstyle by Iconic available at Tres Chic.  It’s rigged mesh with a hud that gives you the option of wearing the hair in different styles.  It’s a great new feature that some hair designers are now offering.  The top and shorts are by Scandalize and are at this round of Cosmopolitan. There are 22 color options available with two versions included in each.

Last item being featured is the chubby cat with the birds on top by Jian.  It’s only available in September’s Luxe Box, so you’ll have to visit their website to find out how you can purchase the subscription box.

Sitting it out

First a big thank you for everyone who sent keep safe messages and thoughts and prayers. I appreciate all of them and warmed me greatly. Right now it’s pretty calm and the expected arrival into my area is into late Sunday into Monday morning, and likely the strength of a category 3.  While living in Florida most of my life has given me some experience of going through such extreme weather it can still be a little nerve wracking.

Cosmopolitan is on a new round having just opened three days ago and as always lots of great fashion, poses, decor and much more to be found. I’m showcasing some of the decor in these pictures.  Cinphul has the ‘Forget Me Collection’ in two versions. I’m showing the [death] version and consists of the console, chair, step stool and two vases.   Luc Boutique has these metallic fern lamps in a few colors. Puke Rainbows has decorative flower art for the wall and OHeMo has boxy decor for wall and also for floor, which those have legs.  The trees, hill and grass shown outside the window are by Little Branch.

The other item that I’m featuring is the bed by [Merak], which is currently at Shiny Shabby.  It’s got a land impact of 16, and texture change for pillows and cover.

I know it’s going almost on two weeks since I last posted and all I can say is that my hasty departure without notice was not planned.  I have been out of SL due to a real life bereavement in my immediate close family.  If you’ve been with me a while and many of you have then you’ve probably read a post or two in the past when I’ve spoken of the closeness of my family.

While I will resume blogging, please bear with me for a while if I suddenly have nothing to say. I hope that everyone is well and please remember to tell those who are close to you how much you appreciate and love them.  To the closest of my friends who have transcended SL thank you so much for your love, support, thoughts and prayers during this time.  To all my sponsors thank you for your support and understanding as well.

These pictures done prior to my departure are from Concept and are their newest release.  The gacha set is called “Ca’Pepe” and it’s available at Kustom9. There are 16 pieces to the set with 5 rares and 11 commons.  The house is a rare and has the most land impact at 202.  To get a view of the full set as only several pieces are being shown, please click here.  If you click his name you can also see some of the creator’s own pictures of the set.

The leaning trees on the left side of the first picture are by Little Branch as is the front one on the other side. My apologies as I didn’t get a chance to make a note card of all the credits, but the rest of the landscape includes items from Alirium and Studio Skye.

Limited space creates unlimited creativity

Morning everyone!  It’s all about home decor today with this post as I’m showing the latest gacha release by Haikei, the “Change Your Mind” at Kustom9.  Now Haikei didn’t identify the items in their description so find the key here. There are 8 commons and 1 rare being the building that I’m showcasing all the decor in.  The table with chairs, plant in corner, frames against the wall, books on side table and hanging lamp are all part of the gacha as well as the pillows on the floor.

The guacamole y la cerveza decor on the table is by Ionic and part of the “La Hacienda” gacha set at The Chapter Four. The hanging headboard and bed are a collaboration by Shutter Field & Decor Junction at the Home Show.

The latest release by JIAN is the Pupper Parlor Gacha at The Epiphany.  I’m showing only two yorkies of the 14 commons and 3 rares in the set, which you can find the key here.  Two other items from the Home Show include the tulip floor lamp by The Half Moon Market and the 50s record player by FIN *Relive The Fifties*.   Both of which can be found in other colors.  The last items being featured today are by Zen Creations, which are the shelf decor with the vase with flowers, tea candles and frame and then the candle on the table there. You can find both these items at the main store, not new releases but fairly recent.

Book lovers bedroom

This round of The Chapter Four introduced something new to the event — a round within the round.  Designers participating will bring you new exclusive releases in the middle of the current round, even mini-gacha sets. I’m showing the mini-gacha by Ionic called the “Small Things” gacha, that includes 1o commons and 1 rare. Find them in the secret room at the event.

I’m also showing a new release by Zen Creations, which is the Book Lover Bedroom and includes several pieces such as the bed, bookcase, table and lamps and books in tray on the floor.  You can find everything listed below.

I featured all this stuff in one of the homes from May’s Builder’s Box edition. The Leviosa Loft is by KITE and it’s a lovely two floor loft that has some amazing windows. The Builder’s Box is a quarterly subscription full of some of the most stylish and amazing homes and skyboxes.  Visit the Builder’s Box website to take a look at the homes from the May edition.
