Relaxing moment

Happy Saturday!

I don’t have so much time this morning as I’m on my way out for a few hours to get some personal things done, but I really wanted to post before I left. I’ll be very brief and leave you with credits for now.

First, I’m really excited that I’m going to be blogging for Anhelo and look forward to showing some of their new releases in the future. I’ll give a little more of an introduction later in case you’re not familiar with them. I’m also showing a new gacha of the love pugs by JIAN for The Gacha Garden. Here are some helpful tips on how to use each pug in the Love Pugs set..

━━━━━━━━━━━━ ★ RARES★ ━━━━━━━━━━━━

All rares in this set texture change both the pup between the four coat colors and have accessory texture options as well!

━ 1. Free Kisses
This is a rezzed item with an animation for the pug and an avatar when it is sat on.
When not seated, the owner can also change the pug’s coat texture.

To get licked, right click and “sit” on the object.
Your AV will cycle through the animation and automatically be unseated.

━ 2. Sleepy Treater
This is a decorative rezzed mesh item.
Click on it to get a resize and texture change menu for the pug and blanket.
You can also turn on or off the pug’s animation cycle.

━ 3. Pug Wagon
This is a worn avatar accessory that will animate your avatar’s arm to hold it.
You can also click on the wagon to get texture menus for both pugs and the wagon, turn on or off the animations of the pugs and resize it.

━ Companion Pugs (8, 9, 10, 11)
These are worn animated avatar accessories.
Right click them in your inventory and choose “Add.”
If for some reason they get added to the wrong attachment point, you will want to right click on them and choose “Attach to” and then “Avatar Center”.
You will need to reposition them to match where your avatar’s feet touch the floor.
These will walk, run, and idle through various animations along with your avatar.

━ Wanderer Pugs (12, 13, 14, 15)
These pugs are meant to be rezzed to let run around!
Drop them out on the ground and click them to begin. You will get options for radius, wander and sound.
Sound turns your pug’s barking on or off.
Radius sets the distance in which you pup can wander from the point where you turn it ‘on’.
Wander turns your animals ‘on’ and lets it run around!
Turning off wander on your animals should return it to its original starting position.

━ Held Pug (16, 17, 18, 19)
These are worn animated avatar accessories that will override your arm animation.
They default to your right arm, but if you attach them to your left fore arm they will automatically swap to animate that arm instead and vice versa. You may need to reposition your pug in your arm if you swap arms.
You can click on your pug to get a menu for textures for the flower, resizing and to turn animations on or off.

French Country Living

Heart Homes has put together a nice combination of kitchen and dining room set that is designed in the style of luxurious French Country. It’s mesh with low prims and can choose a kitchen that is either PG and family or adult version. It has lots of scenes with rezzable props and quality animations. It’s an interactive kitchen so you will be able to cook meals from its raw state to done in minutes. There are animations that include making pizza or preparing hot dogs together as a family and much more.

The kitchen, sink and stools are all color changeable with a click of certain parts mentioned in instructions. I encourage you to go visit their showroom to take a look.

Apart from a few older decor items that I used and some hanging mesh plants, curtains as well as the house I used, everything is from Heart Homes.

Those little side trips

Happy weekend everyone. It’s been a busy day for me and I’m really too tired for words — so I’m going to keep this short. If you haven’t made it over to Tres Chic you’re missing out on some great stuff. I’m wearing a casual sweater and jeans by Entice that are so comfy for the weekend or those last minute grocery runs when you have no food in the house.

I’m also wearing a new hairstyle by Iconic called Nicolette. I was real fortunate to be selected as a blogger and look forward to showing you more great hairstyles in the near future. The hair is rigged mesh and materials enabled and comes in a variety of color tones. You can find it now at Hairology, which runs until January 30th. Stand tall and be strong

Over the summer I took a trip to Texas as I was contemplating on moving there at the time. I traveled with all women that are members of my immeidate family visiting various cities. While at each city we took in the local attractions and in San Antonio one of the places we visited was the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, where you get to drive through acres of what their web site describes as “rolling hills, creek beds, and magnificent live oak trees and witness the behavior of over 500 animals from 40 exotic, native and endangered animal species worldwide.”

I can certainly attest to seeing a lot of animals that literally came up to your car as you drove through at a slow pace. Unfortunately, during the time we traveled that part of the nation was experiencing heavy rains and the roads where the giraffes were housed and roamed were flooded. My niece loves these tall and regal looking animals and I do also. Though to compensate they had moved a few giraffes to the front of the ranch in an enclosed area where you could walk to and see them up close. This was one of the best highlights of our trip as we really had an enjoyable time seeing all the animals and we laughed so hard during our time there that it will always be a pleasant memory for all of us to cherish as we bonded even closer then.

So that when I saw this nicely done woodlance fence set from .peaches., which is their release for the Draftsman Event that starts tomorrow I thought of using giraffes, which then made me remember our trip. The fence ranges in land impact from 1 to 12 for the arch with the gate. I will be showing more items from this event in the coming days.

My hair and clothes are from this round of Tres Chic with the hair with fedora being by Beusy and sweater top and suede lace-up shorts or hotpants as named by Petite Mort. It’s not often that I go outside my natural tones when it comes to wearing hairs, but I felt like something different today so I chose the special colors to wear. I thought it looked really pretty and vibrant.

The outfit is mesh body compatible and is also available in several different colors; 5 for the hotpants and 10 for the tops. They fit perfectly with my maitreya mesh body and to complement the outfit I am wearing the newest thigh high heels by Empire called Weigela that are available at this new round of Kustom9. The pose is another great one by K&S Poses, which is a continuing one of their Katya sets.

Hello.. it’s me she said

My 83 year old grandmother has come for a 2-week visit and she’s got more energy than I do sometimes. I had just enough time to get my picture posted on Flickr earlier in the day, but no time to get the post done as she asked me to take her into town after we had already had a busy morning.

Now several hours later and now early evening I can finally sit for a moment to write the credits and get it posted. One of the items that I am featuring are these gorgeous boots by N-Core. They are made to fit the Maitreya, Belleza, Slink and TMP and currently available at FaMESHed.

The other item that I’m showcasing is the pose by K&S Poses. I’ve used this pose before on another picture (Happy Halloween post) at a slightly different angle and on a sofa chair. Just goes to show you how great these poses are for different looks.

The Cranmore

I mentioned in my blog post yesterday that today I would be featuring a new home. So today I bring you The Cranmore by creator Cain Maven. If you’ve been around Second Life for a while you’re probably already familiar with his homes under his brands Maven Homes and also Quantum Luxury Homes.

Both brands offer you high quality homes in various styles in a wide range of prices. Though having just recently toured one of the previous new releases, the “Roma” home, beautiful large luxury home is almost too simple to describe the beauty and magnificence in size and looks of that particular home.

The Cranmore is way smaller in comparison, but it’s also not a small home either at a size of 32 m x 35 m. It’s a bit of a mixed brick style build as you get a bit of a renovated barn with an industrial rustic feel with a touch of modernness. What I especially liked immediately upon entering the home was the sense of not feeling like I was boxed in. I think that’s attributed to the openness, large picture windows and the high ceilings, which is something you don’t find a lot these days.

The rooms in the house include a bedroom, bathroom, front room, a kitchen with a dining/living room space and attic. The kitchen and bathroom decor is removable. I had a little fun decorating the kitchen with old and new items. The kitchen as mentioned is an open plan where you have the dining room and another living room space. The picture below shows the other side of the kitchen as you enter it through the open barn doors.

You can see the attic space in the picture above that gives you another level to put in another bedroom, office or another sitting area. Plus you can see what I mean about the openness and high ceilings.

Above is the bathroom and the next picture is the bedroom. Just take a look at the realistic detail of the materials used.

In the second picture you saw the home from the back and you see the big window just behind the green loungers, which are another collaboration by Shutter Field and Decor Junction and are available currently at Tres Chic.

If you click the window or the wheel on the wall, you will see the wheel begin to spin as the window opens, giving you this wonderful view out or whatever view you may have once positioned. You can see my hands there as I am taking a breather enjoying the night hours and the flock of birds. Now most species of birds rest during the night as I came to read, though there are some birds like for instance some sparrows that fly at night during migration periods. I think it was one of those periods.

Precious moments treasured

Happy Friday to everyone.

Today I am doing a fashion post featuring a few items from this round of On9 and some from Kustom9. The first is a new skin by Essences, which is Sophia and it’s a head applier for the Catwa mesh head. It comes available in 6 skin tones and the one I’m wearing is medium tone one. What I like about this skin is the thickness and darkness of the eyebrows. The lipstick is not part of the skin, but from Alaskametro<3 and it’s a 6 color Dryad set as an applier for Catwa at On9.

These lovely earrings in a rich citrine color I am wearing are from Kunglers. I wish that I could pull these off in real life, though with my small ears I feel the weight of almost any earrings I wear to be too uncomfortable. You will find these at On9, as well as the hair by EMO-tions. Melanie is rigged mesh hair and there are three versions included that sit the hair on your front slightly different. I chose one that would not hide the earrings and the tattoo.

The tattoo is a recently released one from Aurica Store. It’s called music and it’s got a guitar and musical notes embedded throughout its design, which makes it kind of cool for those music lovers. You can find it at the main store.

The dress I’m wearing is from Empire and at Kustom9. We know this creator for her awesome shoes, but she’s getting into fashion now too and this dress is not a disappointment as it has open back view and gives a lovely curvature to your behind. I’m wearing the one for Maitreya, but it’s also made for Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Physique and Venus and a color hud with 20 choices.

The last item are the Savanna shoes by ChicChica at On9. They were practically a great fit to go with this dress. They are available in six colors and are made for Maitreya, Slink and Belleza. I really like how feminine these shoes look and especially the little flower accent at the the front.

Edited to include additional credits on the decor and mainly the dog, which I can’t believe that I totally missed it. The dog is from Jian’s Hallow-Inu gacha set at the Epiphany. I’ve previously showed one of the prince doggo, one of the rare dogs and this is one of the common wanderer dogs.

Welcoming the change in season

The Fall season is my favorite when it comes to weather as it’s always not so hot and muggy here in Florida and just about the right breeze. Though, I don’t get the changing of the leaves as much here in my real world, in Second Life, it’s one of best seasons to take photos due to all the rich colors. I’m in complete awe with some of the amazing photos people are creating that I see come across my Flickr stream. It definitely inspires me to want to go out and explore. I welcome any mention of sims that are worth visiting.

Today I am showcasing a couple of items that I am wearing. The first is a recent new hair release by enVOGUE. The Milly is rigged mesh and is an avant-garde hairstyle that has a classic bun style and pulled to the front in a braided tail. It’s modern and quite chic. This hairstyle is available in 96 colors, root colors and 16 ombre, which are easily accessible through a HUD. It’s available at the main store.

The next item featured today is the Miu shoes by N-Core, which are mesh body compatible {Xtreme Feet, Maitreya, The Mesh Project, Belleza and Slink}. Perfect ankle boots for this season that’s for sure to bring some cool day and nights ahead. There are 14 options available that can be purchased individually or as a fatpack.
