Another peek into the Arcade. Today I am showing the Glasswings Collection by {Reverie}. These are wearable items made for Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass. There are 10 pieces to the collection and two color versions of this outfit. I’m wearing this monarch and somewhat vintage white with only the hand accessory not worn. The other color version is blue.
I’m holding another color of the lively labs by JIAN, also available at the Arcade. The other two items being featured are also by JIAN and they are the floating candles in the metal bowl and the glass containers on the bench. Both are texture change on touch. They were available for Fifty Linden Friday, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to blog them in time. Though check the store as sometimes creators leave their items at that price until the weekend.

Happy Sunday!
I’ve been trying to get this posted since the morning, but it’s been one distraction after another. Just got off a two hour phone call catching up with a friend and I said let me get this done before something else comes up.
As the month is coming to a close, so are a few events. I’m doing one last post for items that can be found at On9, which ends on the 28th. I’m beginning to be one of those last minute shoppers… waiting for the lines to go down and not having to fight the lag.
I’m featuring this lovely heavenly paradise patio set by Lavian & Co., which includes the sunshade, planters, table and chair that has like 18 sit animations. In the background is a piece of wall decor by Chiana Oh. The rosette decor is available in 4 colors perfect for the summer months or you can grab them in a fat-pack.
The pose I’m using is part of the Spanish patio pose prop by Exposeur, which is a pose store closing at the end of the month. I really loved the poses that came with it, and figured the prop would make a great background for future posts.
I’m wearing a new hair release by eXxEsS. This hair can be worn with or without the summer hat. It comes with an extensive hud for both the hair and hat and the newest feature of breeze in your hair to give it that natural movement as you walk about. It’s available now at the main store.
To complete my look I am wearing a swimsuit by R.icielli, which comes with a texture hud that gives you plenty of options with 26 variations. It’s a great bargain! These super high heels I am wearing are from [MODA], which also come with a texture hud, giving you several options to change the straps, platform and bows on the shoe.

If I ever got a dog in real life it would probably be an English bulldog. I think they have the cutest face ever. I had a co-worker once who had one and hers was super big with all the folds in the skin and I would often joke with her saying that he had a face only his mother would like… meaning her. She would laugh as she knew I was messing with her. It looked like this one here except a bit wider.

Today I am featuring these modern bars by HJM Designs for the upcoming round of Perfect 10, a home and garden event that takes place at The Cookie Jar sim. The bars have a land impact of 8 and come with single and couple animations, one of which is a bartender as shown. You can find these bars in an assortment of colors at the event.
The other decor item that I am featuring is the lighted tree behind me with lace by unKindess and is available at the Wayward Winter event. This tree is part of the dark set, but you can find it in several wood tones.
The last item that I am featuring is the new hair by enVOGUE called Miriam. It is a cute bob with hat that comes with a Hud to change the color. You can find this new hairstyle at the main store.

There are two events coming our way soon. The Trick or Treat Event is a very short event and will be held at The Shopping District from October 29 and runs only until November 1st. I’ll be showing some previews from here to then starting with this midnight cat tattoo by Passion Tattoos. It comes with most of the known appliers like Omega, Maitreya, Slink Physique, TMP as well as classic tattoo layers. It comes in light, medium and dark ink and I’m wearing the medium ink.
The next event is the second edition of Sad November that begins November 1st and will run until the 21st. I’m wearing the military style mesh jacket by MoDANNA that will be available in several colors. Aside from the jacket, there is a skirt, leggings and cardigan also in several colors to choose from. I hope to show you some in the next few days.

After holding out for the longest time I finally took the plunge and dyed my hair for the very first time last week. At age 45, I was fortunate that the grey hairs were scattered among the long strands of hair and not necessarily pronounced at the temples. Though, it was time for a change and one that is rapidly growing on me.
Today I am featuring a new hair by Beusy that is available currently at Kustom9. I didn’t take the risk of going with a two tone hair color in real, as those things are not easily reversible. Though I certainly like the look on this hairstyle that I’m wearing and there is always a next time.
Something I needed to be reminded of today.

New round of The Perfect 10 Event is soon upon us and today I am showing you a preview of some of the items you can find this month. The Summer’s Sunset Collection is by Finishing Touches, a home and garden store that has a little of everything for your home. The set consists of everything inside the gazebo including the gazebo itself.
You can’t go wrong with this set and it really has some nice features. The gazebo includes a menu that gives you several options to choose from to either display the curtains and lights, or just the curtains by themselves or just the lights or one off and the other on. That’s a pretty neat feature to let you create your own ambiance. Both chairs come with 20 single animations. I went through them all to select one and I must say that I was really impressed with the variety of animations. They not only looked very natural it really gave that feeling of being in the moment like this one I’m using. The chair with the fabric also comes with a menu to change the texture of the blanket. You have about 9 choices.
I loved the bowl with pears that is one of the pieces on the table. It’s something that I totally love in my real life, is always having a bowl of fruit in the house.
The Perfect 10 Event is always held at The Cookie Jar Home & Garden sim and runs from the 1st of the month to the 15th.
