It’s a lazy Sunday for sure in both worlds.  Kuro has made a batch of breakfast pancakes for us to enjoy and is available today for Lazy Sunday.  The delicious looking pancakes come on a stand with a land impact of one.  You can find them at the main store.

Today,  I am also featuring this rustic bench by unKindness, which is their participation to The Lexi Project.  If you’re not familiar already with unKindness, it is a relatively new home and furniture store on the grid.  I look forward to showing you more of their stuff in the near future.  The bench will be available in both PG and Adult version, with single and couple animations and adult animations in the adult version.

In the meantime let me share with you The Lexi Project.  The owner of AngelRed Couture was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Second Life residents have banned together to support her by collaborating on a fundraiser to raise funds to help her with some of her medical expenses.  There are about 350 brands supporting this project, from apparel, decor, poses, skin, hair and so much more with 100% of the proceeds going directly to this cause.

The event is scheduled to open its doors Sunday, July 26th at midnight SL time.  If you would like to know more or interested in how to donate, please visit the The Lexi Projec blog.  I’ve included some more links at the bottom of the credits.

As I read her post on her blog, it was heart wrenching and my thoughts and prayers were sent up immediately for her and her family.  If you’re able to, please help support this event.

Days of Yesterday 005

It’s definitely summer here in my real world living in Florida.  The temperature is registering at 94°F even though it feels more like beyond 100°F, especially with humidity being at about 44% and relatively no wind to help.  If you’re experiencing the same summer heat here in Second Life, then BoOgErS is here to help with these cute playful summer stuff for the kids out now at Summerfest ’15.  The pool has some cute animations like the two shown here, of floating and doing the happy dance.

I remember these pools when I was a kid and we used a regular yawn sprinkler with the water hose to have the most amazing fun. Those were some good ole days. BoOgErS has also just introduced their first outfit, which part of it is the drawstring shorts in black with stars.  The rest of the outfit is a hoodie and you can find these in a couple of variations at Shiny Shabby.

Cows Come Home 025

This picture really represents my desire just to be able to sleep.  I had high hopes of sleeping in this morning, when the neighbor’s car alarm went off at 6:30 a.m. and so after that wake up I drifted off only for my phone alarm to go off an hour later.  Guess it was a sign to wake up.

My big pixels have no trouble finding rest as you can see, while the little me wants to play.   These Bessie the Cows are from Dysfunctional Designs and are available at the Fantasy Collective.  There are two versions, the static grazing cows and one with poses and there are several texture choices for the cows.

I’m off to do some real shopping, so everyone have a fabulous Saturday!

Showing another pair of shoes for the 21Shoe Event that occurs only on the 21st of the month for 24 hours and shoes are exclusive never to be sold again.  The dagger boots are from the House of Rain that come in the two colors that I’m wearing, so no I didn’t wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.  I don’t know about you, but I have gotten so used to wearing my mesh feet that I was like.. oh a pair of boots where I don’t need to figure out which feet I need to wear.  Or having to change skins if I was wearing another skin during the last use.  As unappealing my non-mesh feet are it was sort of refreshing to walk around with no attachments when I took the boots off.
