When I saw this top and skirt from Ala Folie several days ago I thought it would be perfect to go around in for Cinco de Mayo. The outfit comes with a HUD to change the colors of the top and skirt and my only wish was that I could have done that also for the middle portion so I could have made it white to reflect the Mexican Flag colors a little better. This still works really well and I added the white head piece from LODE. I am really loving the head accessories from LODE these days and this one is no exception and at 50L chance gacha you can’t go wrong with any color you get.

Remarkable Oblivion really did a fantastic job with these wings and I was tempted to get them all. Though a girl can only have so many wings in her closet. I am definitely not vying to be ~~more of~~ an angel. Just something fun that I played with and just showing the cut off version that shows the face much closer as opposed to more legs.

More Exclusives for 21Shoe

Here are some more shoes that are part of this month’s round of 21Shoe event. In the first picture I am featuring folder wedges in exclusive colors by Miamai that are made to wear with the SLink high feet. Two great pair of shoes for the price of one.

The next pair of shoes I am showcasing are from Ingenue and are called the Marie heels in the colors wine and latte. They too are made to fit with the SLink high feet. Just remember all the shoes are available for 24-hours and will never be sold again.

I am pretty enthused with this last picture as I learned a new technique today and that is blending two pictures together. It took me a while playing with it, though I am pleased with the outcome for my first try.

I had a flashback when I saw the name of this top & skirt to the time I was on a business trip and my colleagues and I took a detour through the City of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico over 15 years ago. I really can’t say that I recall much about the place as it was a very short time there and only stopping to grab a bite to eat before making the remaining way to our destination. It’s just a name you won’t easily forget. The handbag certainly has that southwestern look that embodies that part of the country.

Now I’m feeling a bit nostalgic as I recollect some of my trips to the west coast.

SSD for the 21Shoe Event

It is nearing that time again for the new round of the 21Shoe Event where you get two pair of shoes for the price of one from participating creators. One of those creators is Sax Shepherd Designs that will have these two pairs of jeweled stilettos that I’m featuring. The first is the Mata Hari Oyster Satin, which is an exclusive color and style that will never be sold again after the event. It comes with a HUD that can be used to resize and to change the full bright options on and off.

The second pair is the Aphrodite Holiday Edition, which is a new shoe that has yet to be released. This holiday edition offers red, blue and green soles with gold, platinum and black titanium jewelry options. The HUD is very easy to use and will give you several choices in color and diamonds and this holiday edition will only be sold during the holiday season.

These shoes are made to fit with the SLink Avatar Enhancement High feet, so keep that in mind. The other thing is this event is only one day for 24-hours from 12:01 am SLT. I’ve noticed in group chat that many people get confused to where this event is held. All shoes are to be found at the main stores on that day. Gone fishing…

Tomorrow there are a few events that are opening up and one of them is Collabor88, which is celebrating its 3rd birthday. HEART Homes/Aphrodite Shops is going to be offering several new releases. The furniture that I am showcasing in these first three pictures are part of the Fisherman’s House that is fully furnished. Great for those who just don’t have the time to decorate and just want to rez and move in.

You have so many choices with the pieces that come with the house — from the change in the wood texture, to an abundance of animations for single and couples with rezzable props.

The fishing chairs above have sitting, fishing, couple and single animations with props for you to enjoy as well and they are so artistic and cute! The picture below shows part of the Floating House that comes with a pier. I am using some of the items that were in the Fisherman’s House for this picture, as noted below in the credits.
