Some home decor items to show you today.  The Fantasy Collective is now open and Jian brings you the Demilune set, which includes the sofa, chair, coffee table, a side table, book and candle decor.  With this set you get the option of texture change on all the wood. To be exact about 7 choices there.  I find that I’m always going for the darker wood versions, so I thought maybe a little changing up here would be good.  This is the grey wood that I’m displaying.  The rug also has a texture option that gives you six choices in color.   You can find this set in PG and Adult version with loads of animations in each.

I’m using the boxwood shrubs in the background just outside the window again that are from Jian, a recently released set that works with a HUD to give you the option of choosing the season you want.  It’s summer here so I did a mixture of that and spring.

I am wearing some new items that MoDANNA has at the Manga Fair.  The Sakura Collection, is a kawaii punk inspired collection that includes the jacket and skirt shown here.  You will find the jacket in 6 pastel colors and the skirt in 6 patterns, but that’s not all in the collection.  You can also find ties and kawaii socknimals (applier socks with animal print at top) that can be mixed and matched with all the items.

It’s time to be happy

The song Summer Nights from the movie Grease seems to float to my mind when I do a summer post.  It’s got some cute lyrics.. summer loving had me a blast, oh yeah.. summer loving happened so fast… met a boy cute as can be… summer days drifting away.. and so on. Chuckles. I think popcorn is awaiting me soon.

Showing another hair from the Hair Fair.  This one is from Pr!tty and what really drew me to it was the long stresses of hair that go off to the side. It just felt and looked very natural to me that I couldn’t resist making it one of my first purchases.   I was happy too as it wasn’t until recently that I found myself being able to wear this designer’s hair again. I must have a big forehead as most of the hairs didn’t fit and required that I make changes to it and my face is the one body part that I do not like to change when it comes to making small modifications to my shape.

I’m wearing one of the Canicule Collection bikinis by MoDANNA that is available at this new round of anyBODY, an event that is geared towards everything applier.  It is an applier bikini and there are appliers for just about all the mesh bodies and more including clothing layers.   I’m wearing the banana version though you can find many colors to even mix and match.

The other item I want to point out is this new summer cabana by Aphrodite.  The “Summer Happy Place” is available at Swank, a new monthly event on the grid.  It has well over 100 animations and has a land impact of 15 and comes with rezzable props.

All the right fixes for a summer loving of your own and maybe you’ll meet a cutie too.

I’m a bit out of breath now.  You guessed it.  It’s this very tight corset I am wearing.

You can have a skinny waist too by going and grabbing your very own corset by MoDANNA at the anyBODY event that runs until June 30th.  I’m wearing the red version, though you can find the black corset with several different lining colors at the event.

The diamond shaped tattoo I am wearing is by Things and it is available at the Alice in Sexyland Event.  The word “curiouser & curiouser” inside the diamond shape is a line in the Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland book that now is considered one of the more famous verses from the story.   Aside from the diamond shape tattoo you will also find tattoos in the other suits from the deck of playing cards with each having its own phrase from Alice’s adventures.

Lastly, I am wearing another of the fabulous collars that (epia) made for the June round of the arcade.  I think the heart pendant with the gold chain that circles the collar gives it a fashionable and much softer sexier look.

Laundry Day 033

I had another long day where I did a long loop of travel from home to work to a meeting in another town an hour away then back to work to drop off the employee who was with me and then the 40 minute trek back home.  One of those days where I ended up not being able to have lunch until about 4 pm and by then sporting a headache.  Next time I make it to the grocery store I’m storing up on a box of beef jerky and dumping a few in my purse.

Then I have to get home only to have to do laundry in Second Life.  Just kidding! As if!  I think that the moment that SL begins to feel like work that’s when I know it’s really time to move on.

Those feelings 099

In a few days it’s my real life birthday and I’ve been contemplating a lot of things lately in my life.  The age thing doesn’t bother me.. it’s more just pondering on stuff that has happened and did not happen by the time I reached this age.   A fellow blogger participated in this past Monday’s meme that dealt with finishing off some I statements and I told her she could have almost written mine.  They sort of fit in with my thoughts of late, so I thought of giving it a go.

I am… perhaps too stubborn at times to my own detriment
I want… to sometimes escape from every responsibility that I have
I have…more to be thankful for than not
I wish…things were less complicated at times
I hate… injustice
I fear… losing myself and losing loved ones
I search… for everything on Google
I wonder…far too many things
I regret… not having children
I never… will cook as good as my mom
I always… try to keep learning in some way
I usually… want to know the logic behind it
I dance… awkwardly no doubt
I sing… great to my ears
I often… procrastinate more than I should
I sometimes… over think and analyze
