This will be a very short post today as I have a short window of time to get this posted before having to run out the door to run some errands.  Plus I am more than a little tired from not being able to get enough sleep lately. I couldn’t sleep last night and stayed up reading until the wee hours of the morning.  At least I got to catch up on blog reading and eventually drifted off. In any case I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Thursday.

The song Summer Nights from the movie Grease seems to float to my mind when I do a summer post.  It’s got some cute lyrics.. summer loving had me a blast, oh yeah.. summer loving happened so fast… met a boy cute as can be… summer days drifting away.. and so on. Chuckles. I think popcorn is awaiting me soon.

Showing another hair from the Hair Fair.  This one is from Pr!tty and what really drew me to it was the long stresses of hair that go off to the side. It just felt and looked very natural to me that I couldn’t resist making it one of my first purchases.   I was happy too as it wasn’t until recently that I found myself being able to wear this designer’s hair again. I must have a big forehead as most of the hairs didn’t fit and required that I make changes to it and my face is the one body part that I do not like to change when it comes to making small modifications to my shape.

I’m wearing one of the Canicule Collection bikinis by MoDANNA that is available at this new round of anyBODY, an event that is geared towards everything applier.  It is an applier bikini and there are appliers for just about all the mesh bodies and more including clothing layers.   I’m wearing the banana version though you can find many colors to even mix and match.

The other item I want to point out is this new summer cabana by Aphrodite.  The “Summer Happy Place” is available at Swank, a new monthly event on the grid.  It has well over 100 animations and has a land impact of 15 and comes with rezzable props.

All the right fixes for a summer loving of your own and maybe you’ll meet a cutie too.

Work Calleth 007

I’m stealing the line… “Oh the things we do for family” from a fellow blogger.  I ran around a few grocery stores this morning just to find a particular brand of peppered bacon for my sister.   My suggestion of just buy any regular brand of bacon and slap it with a load of pepper and you get the same thing quite wasn’t good enough.  It’s like you’re only feeding the family and we’ll understand if the recipe didn’t come out  exactly perfect.   We’ll only tease you from here on out at every family function.   You can see why I shy away from the kitchen.

Now a little Second Life.  As you all know I love creating fantasy outfits and with so many new inspiring items it’s hard not to want to create something fun and totally not of this century.  I plan on continuing to do this, except under a new blog created specifically for this purpose.  Every now and then I have felt my fantasy and/or role-play posts clashed a little with my mainstream posts of fashion and home and garden decor as well with the family oriented pictures with little me.  My biggest hesitation was the impact of having two blogs and what it would mean time wise and the additional work if any.

My experience with blogging so far has been very rewarding on a personal level and for the most part stress free. While I don’t know how long this journey will last, in the mean time I plan to just enjoy it if lasts only a week longer, a month or a year.   Not only has experience shown me, but the last few months have too that sometimes things can rapidly change.  Sharing all that if you wish to follow my newest blog you can find me also at Alexa’s Fantasy Wardrobe.  I’m still working on fixing up the layout as I remember how to do all those widgets once again, but slowly getting there.

I really like this cage by 22769 that they have as their item for the House Hunt and a steal for 20L. Unfortunately, none of the sits worked for the dress that I’m wearing so I went a little fanciful today instead.  I think it’s all the stirrings of love in the air.

This is like the third or fourth day I’ve woken up with a pounding headache, today a little worse than usual.   I’m not lacking sleep and I’m not eating anything before bed and not overly stressed for once.  It used to be when I dreamed a lot I always felt my mind never rested, and yet I’m not dreaming often these days, or dreams I can remember when I awake.  I’m just babbling now trying to think of the reason for these annoying headaches.

I haven’t posted in a few days as I’ve been focusing on a few other things like decorating my land and putting a little more order to my wonderfully filled inventory.  It’s a bit embarrassing funny when someone else knows your inventory better than you do.  I made a joke that I was going to bequest all my gacha items to them upon my calling it quits.  Chuckles.
