Sometimes all you need is a little splash of color

I’ve had computer issues all day and still trying to resolve it. I was one step close to throwing a major hissy fit and throwing the thing out the window if not for the calming effect of a friend, who provided compassion, guidance and sound judgment when mine went out the door.

As a result, my post will not be very long, but I did want to get this out today to show the latest home decor offerings by a couple of creators. The retro living room set is by unKindness and is currently available at the Cosmopolitan Event that runs bi-weekly. Each of the pieces are sold separately or you can grab them all at a discount buy purchasing them as a set. You will find animations for male, female and couples.

Next, are the mermaid canvas paintings on the wall and the ones leaning against the window by Jian. These paintings are texture change by the touch of a menu giving you several choices of art to choose from to fit your decor and style. I went with this particular art as the colors blended well with the retro set and I was wanting to show these items as soon as possible and took advantage of showing them together. I must have had too much wine at dinner, because I came online later in the evening and got to setting up this complete living room set that Aphrodite Shops has at this round of the Season’s Story. Processed the picture and then proceeded to remove everything and it wasn’t until I picked up the walls that I saw the two art frames that must have gotten buried in the walls when I positioned it. I’ll just say the wine was delicious.

One of the cool features of this set is that the sofa converts into a bed when you use certain animations. I think that’s a great concept and works if you have limited space and prims and want the features of both a sofa and a bed. It’s also great for role-play when you have family and friends visiting and they want to spend the night.

Other news is that today is when you can get a ton of shoes for the two for one deal for the 21Shoe event. Like these brown pair of heels I’m wearing by KC Couture. You can find all the information on the web site including the landmark to each location and remember this event is only for 24 hours.

Because I wiled away part of my morning doing much of nothing I’m a bit late posting than what I intended it being. I’m in a bit of lazy mood. I finished up two major projects yesterday at work, which took a bit of stress off me and it’s like suddenly I’m overwhelming tired.

I always have good intentions of blogging things that I like and put together during the actual event. Then you know those unexpected things happen that get in the way. When that occurs, intentions while good, take a back seat. Though better late than never? I’ll just pretend it is.
