Pink dreams

Hello everyone.  I hope this post finds you all doing great and as for me I’m extremely very thankful for the good health report that I received today.  It’s made my day and gives me a sense of normalcy even if I’m not quite ready to do flips or run a marathon.  It’s a bit of wishful thinking as I’m more than sure I would be falling all over myself if I had tried doing either prior to having surgery almost two weeks ago.

Recovery has been slow.. way too slow. I’m more than a bit impatient as family and friends would attest to. This assessment is my own rather than my doctor who said I should give myself 4-6 weeks of recovery time and it’s just a day under 2 weeks.  I certainly don’t want to wait that long, but my body may continue to say otherwise and I’m forced to listen.  Either that or reap the consequences.  This means that I will still have to take things fairly slow until then. It’s of little consequence in comparison to how much worse it could have been and for that I’m beyond thankful and feeling very blessed for the great outcome I received.

In the meantime since I’m now able to get around and sit for periods of time I have decided to return to blogging sooner than previously stated. It will be at a slower pace, so that means not at my usual full speed everyday posting regime.

Since we have a couple days left before The Season’s Story ends I thought it be only fair to get another post in showcasing some awesome decor you can find there.  If you haven’t been or gotten everything you wanted, now is the time to rush there.  Otherwise, I’m also showing stuff by unKindness at the Epiphany and decor from creators participating in the just opened Blush Event.

When seasons change…

In case your mind has been elsewhere and you’ve not been paying attention, the season has more or less changed into Autumn/Fall. It’s officially here on Friday. It’s my favorite season of all.  I love the colors, the decor and it’s always the time of year when carnivals come to town.  Just the thought makes me want a big caramel candy apple topped with nuts or I’ll settle for a funnel cake.

Well not going to talk a lot today. I’m actually tired, but won’t go into that.  I’m going to leave you all to peruse credits if anything catches your eyes.

I was messing around yesterday in inventory with my child alt nearby as I transferred over things to her.  Somewhere doing that I got the notice that Genre was now open and decided to take a break and go over to take a look before the crowd rushed in.  This round focuses on post apocalypse and not really my thing, but I found the warrior breastplate top sort of funny and purchased it along with a few other items pictured.

I had no idea what I was going to do and now I’m just laughing at the outcome.
