Playhouse ruckus

Showing some cute stuff for the toddleedoo, which can be found at a couple of events that are specifically for the children avatars in Second Life. Buglets has a playhouse gacha set at the current round of The Play Room, which started August 5th and runs through August 31st. The set includes the rare playhouse that is not pictured here, but is shown in the gacha key shown at the bottom of this post. Along with the 1 rare there are 14 commons, most of which are shown in this picture and detailed below.

Most everyone knows BoOgErS for its line of toys and children furniture. Do you know that the creator behind the store has now started to make clothes for children too? Sydney’s little friend is wearing a top and shorts by BoOgErS, which can be found at La Boutque until August 26th. Several choices of tops and shorts that can all work together and comes with two versions to fit both kids and toddleedoos.

It’s nice to be in the clouds again

It’s been somewhat of a lazy day for me doing much of nothing, but thought I would come sit at the computer for a bit. At least long enough to process this picture and get it posted as I wanted to show the console table that Dysfunctional Designs has for The Neighborhood. If you grab it today you can get it at a discount for $150 lindens for this one day weekly event, otherwise the price goes up tomorrow. It’s a single piece decor and you really can’t ask for a better land impact at only three.

If you’re a toddleedoo another great bargain in case you missed it yesterday is this cute blue romper that comes with the shoes and a hair bow not pictured. It was for Fifty Linden Friday yesterday, though was still available today for the 50 lindens special.

I so love these vintage toys by Irrie’s Dollhouse, which are all gacha items at the Gacha Garden that just started. They just give me a warm feeling as they conjure up good memories of my childhood when life was much simpler and safer.

I’m sitting on one of the poses that comes with the chair and just used the adjust feature to move me around a bit. It’s a hit and miss with furniture that isn’t catered for the small children, though learning to use the adjust on menus comes in handy.

I just know this is for me, I think

When I was a child me and my siblings used to love when my paternal grandmother would visit because often times she would bring with her those big vintage trunks full of stuff for us. The trunks would contain some gift for my dad, little knickknacks for my mom and clothes and toys for us. Even when she wasn’t visiting she would always send us these big packages in the mail that always included something for us. We loved her surprises.

These new mailboxes by BoOgErS were the kind we used to have when I was growing up and remind me of that long ago happy memory. Speaking of these mail boxes, they are no ordinary kind. The mail boxes and gate make sounds when you click to open them, giving you or anyone who touches them a little fun. They are currently available at the new round of Shiny Shabby that just started so you have plenty of time to go grab your own.

I didn’t do these shrubs very much justice in the picture today, though will plan on featuring them again soon. They are a new item by Jian and come in sizes small to tall and also a hedge, including their hud system of being able to change the season. You can find them at the main store.

A while back Dust Bunny had a fabulous sale at their store, where everything was basically just fifty lindens. I was familiar with the store from the various gachas they participated in, though rarely if at all gone to the main store. I instantly fell in love with these gable townhouses, because they also brought a long ago memory to mind of the “Rainbow Row” of historic houses in Charleston, South Carolina. If you haven’t been it’s a great city to visit, and this is just one of the main tourist attractions to visit.

The abundance of Spring.

The May round of Perfect 10 is already on going as it started on the 1st and will run through the 15th. Though if you have not made it there yet, this furniture decor set by Finishing Touches can be found at the event. It’s in soft spring colors of pink, yellow, green and white. Personally, it’s a very cheerful set that makes you feel all bright and happy and those macaroons are delicious just looking at them.

My little owl friend just fit in perfect with this set and provided me with some amusement as I tried all the animations. It’s a great decor item for any child’s room and not to mention the fun it brings.

Little me is wearing this pretty headband and earrings by Buglets that are available now at the Hello Beautiful event. The headbands come in various colors as well as the earrings, which are gacha.

A Little Cheer…

First I will say that I don’t even watch sports. My family still will not let me live it down that I said touchdown at a baseball game almost 20 years ago. I don’t know anything about either team — other than I know they made it to the Superbowl this year.

Though I can still appreciate the craziness, fanatical and over the top love people have for this sport, my family included. Heck, my brothers, cousins and uncles had a Pre-Superbowl meeting on Wednesday just to line up what they each were going to take to the party today.

Since I like both Denver and Seattle equally having traveled to each city on many occasions I figured that I would cheer for both. 🙂
