Today’s scene is all about summer and being at the beach. Again, I am showcasing items from several events around the grid starting with some fashion and decor at Cosmopolitan, which this round ends on the 15th. I’m wearing bikini tops and bottoms by Avale and my guy here is wearing baggy jeans rolled up into shorts by A&D Clothing. The good vibes print frame is by Calm and made for a good title as well.
Hair Fair is still ongoing and ends on the 16th and remember this event supports the Wigs for Kids, so if you’re able to purchase more hair. Many creators also left gifts and I’m wearing the gift by Iconic, so make sure you grabs your gift too!
The Liaison Collaborative ends July 30th, and Ariskea is participating with this beach hut. Another event that is ongoing right now is The Gacha Guardians that ends at the end of the month. I’m showing gacha items by Lagom, the rare house in the background and then some beach decor accessories around me.
Jian is participating in this month of FaMESHed with this pupper pool party that comes with two animated pugs in floaters drifting and spinning in the pool. Is that cuteness or what?
Then I’m also featuring items by Anhelo, which are not new but fantastic decor items for the summer season. The car is decor only and comes with various fun poses as is the beach set of parasol and chairs. It’s at their main store and comes in various colors.
It’s a quickie with this post as I’m going to let you peruse credits to see where all this stuff is from. It’s a mixture of fashion and decor items from all over the grid.

It’s a rainy kind of day here as we’re having on and off thunderstorms throughout the day. It just called for a lazy day at home and quite perfect as I have to get some reading in.
It’s another mixture of fashion and home decor in today’s post with items from all over the grid as there’s just an overabundance of events going on. Some that are fairly new and others well known monthly ones.
Check everything out below.. and have a fabulous rest of the day!

Happy Sunday to everyone. I’m a bit wordy today, so to break up the text I moved the picture to the middle. If you just look at my pretty pictures.. sorry, you have to just scroll down a little to find it.
It’s still fairly early at that start of writing this and if you know anything about me then you might know that I’m definitely not a morning person. Though over the last 15 years sleeping in even after staying up late hasn’t been much of an option.
Though I’m sure that I’ll fall prey to a nap this afternoon, especially as I’m not feeling too great and the reason I hit the bed early last night. I think my body wants to catch a cold and I’m all sniffles this morning.
Before I forget and mention what I’m showcasing today I want to give a shout out to a silent follower of mine from Spain who left me a very nice message yesterday. It made me smile the rest of the day when I read it. It’s always nice to hear from someone on how much they enjoy your blog and appreciate what you do. I don’t say it enough, but I am appreciate to everyone who follows, reads or just enjoys my pictures.
Now for what I am showing today — more great items to be found at 6th Republic, which opened its doors yesterday. This event is based on Europe, so every designer got to choose what part of Europe they wanted to represent. The Hive has this cute seaside shack with 11-15 land impact that comes in a raised or non-raised and with or without doors and two subtle color versions inspired from Cornwall, UK county beaches. I’m using one with doors, but did remove the scripts to keep the doors open. If you peek just inside you see the rug and the lamp on the table that are from CMYK, another creator participating at the 6th Republic event. These are created representing Greece.
The last items being shown are the decor plants by 22769. These are available at Shiny Shabby that runs until May 15th. The 6th Republic is open until May 20th, so you still have plenty of time to get to these two events to grab the latest and greatest!

Today has been a day of baking in preparation for tomorrow and I am lucky to have several sisters and also a niece, so that we get to share in the making of desserts and food. Today I got assigned making a fudge candy, another milk chocolate dessert and apple bread. The last being a family favorite, which I’ve been making ever since my aunt shared her recipe with me on a trip to Seattle back in 2007.
Though I wanted to take some time to come blog my Christmas post, so that I could wish all my readers, fellow bloggers and everyone who drops by a very blessed Merry Christmas. May your day be filled with love and laughter, no matter who you spend it with.
While I would have wanted to do a single picture together with little me, it’s just impossible lately to log both of us at the same time to do it.
Again, have a wonderful day tomorrow!!
Merry Christmas!!!!

The Fall season is my favorite when it comes to weather as it’s always not so hot and muggy here in Florida and just about the right breeze. Though, I don’t get the changing of the leaves as much here in my real world, in Second Life, it’s one of best seasons to take photos due to all the rich colors. I’m in complete awe with some of the amazing photos people are creating that I see come across my Flickr stream. It definitely inspires me to want to go out and explore. I welcome any mention of sims that are worth visiting.
Today I am showcasing a couple of items that I am wearing. The first is a recent new hair release by enVOGUE. The Milly is rigged mesh and is an avant-garde hairstyle that has a classic bun style and pulled to the front in a braided tail. It’s modern and quite chic. This hairstyle is available in 96 colors, root colors and 16 ombre, which are easily accessible through a HUD. It’s available at the main store.
The next item featured today is the Miu shoes by N-Core, which are mesh body compatible {Xtreme Feet, Maitreya, The Mesh Project, Belleza and Slink}. Perfect ankle boots for this season that’s for sure to bring some cool day and nights ahead. There are 14 options available that can be purchased individually or as a fatpack. Currently available at Kustom9 until October 10th, then afterwards you can find them at the main store.
Hope you have a great start to an awesome weekend!

Happy Thursday! It’s been a few days since I last posted here, only because I had a few items that I wanted to get done on my other blog at Alexa’s Fantasy Wardrobe. Though I’m back to show you some new great home and garden stuff. The first item that I am showcasing is this new skybox by the Hive available at this round of FaMESHed. It has a land impact of 15, approximate size is 16L x 13W x 8H, as you can see with the picture beneath it makes for a great outside view . I provided an inside view as well in the last pictures below, where it shows the wall of doors slightly open letting in the sun or air, which ever atmosphere you prefer.
It includes this little nook, which I have decorated with a few items – some from the arcade, old releases and the ones I’m featuring from Pastiche. They are the two chairs and table nearest to the window. The chairs come with a color texture hud giving you a few options to choose from. In this picture I went with some natural earthy colors. These will be at the upcoming Spoonful of Sugar Festival that opens on September 9th at 12 am SLT and will end September 25th.
This festival is going to benefit the Doctors without Borders/Medicins Sans Frontieres.100% of the proceeds of at least one item in each store will be directly donated to the charity plus a participation donation by each designer. All monies will be going to the American office of Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders), an international organization that provides emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care regardless of politics, religion or other affiliations.
It’s going to be 5 sims with over 180 stores in fashion, home and garden and breedables. Below credits I have put some more information on this event.
The last items that are being featured are the trees by Little Branch shown in the second picture. As you can see they make for some wonderful landscaping. The Juniper are the ones with the swirl on the side of the skybox and you can find these at the new round of The Liaison Collaborative that runs until September 30th. The cedar trees come in two versions and these are available at FaMESHed, which ends on September 27th. Both are seasonal trees, which means on touch you can choose the season you want and it changes in texture to that season.
For every national and international disaster Doctor’s Without Borders has been there. There is no barrier, border, or line they will not cross, no length they will not go to too bring aid to those who need it most. Where there is need they are there giving generously all of their knowledge, talent, and skills. Now it is time to give back to them.
Second Life is a global community and with the help of AIM, LTD, ModeLS Magazine, The Second Life Enquirer, SL Live Radio, and Versus Magazine we will come together to celebrate the world wide movement of Médecins Sans Frontières with an entire two weeks of parties, events, and fundraising beginning Sept 9th to the 25th, 2016.
