This picture was a result of over thinking and not knowing when to quit while I’m ahead. Shakes head at self. I had this idea in my mind of what I wanted the outcome to be and yet I couldn’t quite grasp it with anything I tried. Everything from Second Life being wonky to not being able to find a wind-light that I liked. That’s when I should have known better and just stopped and tried doing this another time. I just finally said the heck with it and made it black and white and infused with a little sepia and called it a night.
We are having a little bit of a cold front here with a chill in the air and the wind is howling outside as I sit here typing this. That means the birthday party I am heading to in the next hour is going to be moved inside, which means the noise level in a relatively small house is going to be unbearable after an hour. Is it so bad that I am already thinking of an excuse of why I need to leave early? Oh well… have a great Saturday everyone.

This is like the third or fourth day I’ve woken up with a pounding headache, today a little worse than usual. I’m not lacking sleep and I’m not eating anything before bed and not overly stressed for once. It used to be when I dreamed a lot I always felt my mind never rested, and yet I’m not dreaming often these days, or dreams I can remember when I awake. I’m just babbling now trying to think of the reason for these annoying headaches.
I haven’t posted in a few days as I’ve been focusing on a few other things like decorating my land and putting a little more order to my wonderfully filled inventory. It’s a bit embarrassing funny when someone else knows your inventory better than you do. I made a joke that I was going to bequest all my gacha items to them upon my calling it quits. Chuckles.

I know a shortcut.
I had a particularly rough day that I needed to distract myself with something lighthearted and fun. Bringing out my child alt gives me that in an odd way, not only the silliness of being in a small body, but she makes me laugh at myself as I’ve mentioned before and that’s enough to lighten the load somehow.

When I rezzed this love box sign last night for this scene it made me think of Tina Turner’s song, “What’s love got to do with it” and it’s still playing in my head this morning. It made me feel like dancing and so I’ve parked myself on a dance floor at a long ago visited club listening to the rhythm and soul tunes the DJ is spinning as I write this post. Just what the doctor ordered.
Being a part of the Fantasy Collective group I got early access last night so I took a quick look and came away with this outfit that I’m wearing from Yasum. The Fantasy Collective opens tomorrow and my sneak peak showed that there will be a lot of great stuff as usual. I am sporting a tattoo from “La Malvada Mujer,” which translates to the evil or wicked woman, that is available at the Victims of Ink event. It fits the mood.
I’m excited today. This morning one of my real life friends that I’ve known for many years sent me an email that he had joined Second Life. He’s always known I inhabit this world and from time to time will ask me about it, though has always resisted joining. I don’t blame him. It will be kind of a new experience to catch up with each other from time to time in-world with avatars being that I’m in America and he’s in Europe.

The dichotomy of good and evil has always been an interesting subject and I can safely say it dates as far back to the age of the bible. I don’t plan to talk about morals or religion as that is a personal thing that I try never to debate unless it’s with people who will accept your difference of thoughts, beliefs and opinions and can still smile at you after the conversation. I will say this. Personally, I think the relevance lies in the seed of both good and evil that exists inside each of us. It’s definitely a balancing act when it comes to choosing which one will win.
It’s only mid morning and its dark and raining here — so this picture feels perfect for the overcast day we’re having.

The song “Listen” by Beyonce has been playing in my head for the last week or so. It’s a great song and I remember hearing it for the first time during the period that the movie “Dreamgirls” was released.
Why it’s playing in my head is another story, but it seems to fit my mood today. Just being lazy on this Driftwood Hammock by 8f8. I’m also sporting a new skin just to try something a little different.
