Happy weekend!! Just some more fantastic decor that I’m showcasing today from sponsors and events including a hunt!  Fancy Decor continues to amaze with this modern set out now at the Red Light District, which I added the coffee table to go with it by [Merak], available now at the main store.

To keep within the same color scheme I used the silver pieces from (luc) set of cranes and thistle sculptures at Illuminate, a brand new home and garden event.  Few commons pieces by 22769 from their picnic by the sea gacha at the Arcade.

The Land of Rainbows sim has a Easter Egg Hunt taking place until April 6th, and trust me you really want to do this one as it has several great pieces of decor that you would want in your inventory.  I’m showing the chocolate bunny from HEXtraordinary and the black Easter egg is from also Known as, but I think it’s their actual egg that contained their gift. I used it to fill my bowl.

Happy Valentines Day!!  It’s a quickie today and once again I’m breaking my self-imposed post every other day rule.  I think that’s why I’m breaking it, because who likes rules.  I have lots more to say on this subject, but limited time right this moment.  I have returned to work this week and my intent was to ease back in slow, but if you know me I hardly do anything slow.

Morning everyone!! Sunday silence

Happy Sunday!!  Showcasing items from a few events today, starting with the house I’m using by [Schultz Bros.].  The Le Petit Manoir is gorgeous and I’m really not doing it justice showing just this side of the home, but no doubt I’ll be using it again.  It’s part of the Builder’s Box quarterly subscription box, so visit their website for more information.  This can be purchased off market place or their main store.

FaMESHed is in full swing now and I’m showcasing the Carter Entertainment set by MudHoney. I’ve always been a fan of this creator and lately she’s doing an amazing job with home decor.  I’ve mixed two of her sets here as the sofa and a few decor pieces are from her Greta set at the Blush Event.

The other two items being featured is an outdoor plant that I brought in house and a heart box of chocolates.  The Bird of Paradise plant by Cube Republic Store is available at FaMESHed and makes for a colorful landscaping plant. Then Dust Bunny brought us chocolate candies in a heart just in time for Valentines Day.  They are available at the main store.

Beautiful days like this is what I look forward to

I’m going to take liberty to post again today, because in doing so I feel caught up to some releases at events like The Epiphany that is about to end in a couple of days. I’ve probably pushed myself more than I should have as I’m still in recovery mode, but thankfully so far for the most part I am doing well and it’s been great to get back to blogging.

I’m showcasing Cheeky Pea, who has the “Lovebug” gacha at The Epiphany event. If you haven’t played now would be the best time to go grab some of these wonderful decor items.  I’m also showing items from the Honey Farm gacha by DAWN at The Gacha Gardens.  The small rustic house and bee hives are all part of this gacha.

The garden shelf is a previously released item by Anhelo for Fifty Linden Friday, right about the time I had to take time off so I’m finally getting a chance to show it off.  Little Branch has been really active lately with some fantastic landscaping items, like these mango trees.  I love mangos, it is one of my favorite fruits and when they’re in season its a must have.

The time of lace tablecloths and doilies

I have fond memories of lace tablecloths and lace doilies strewn around our home as well in both set of grandparents homes as I was growing up.  It gave a touch of elegance and no doubt it was also a means to protect the wood underneath. Well it did in our family, as it couldn’t have been easy for my mom with eight children. Being we are all just one or two years apart in age you can perhaps imagine what a house full of children running around could be like.  Just writing these words gives me an overwhelming admiration and respect for my mom.

Good morning! I’m sure by now many of you have already been to this new month’s round of FaMESHed.  I used to be you or like you in this regard. I was always eager to be one of the first to enter an event.  I’ve since calmed down. Mainly, because getting into an event when its doors first open is just hard and it’s always too much lag and I end up crashing. It’s definitely starting to look like Fall in Second Life with all the orange, yellows and red colors you see around.  I’m featuring a few new items by unKindness to help you decorate for the season.

The County Pumpkin set, which can be found at the Tres Chic event includes the pumpkin seat, pumpkin accessories on the floor and the candle tray on the table. The seat comes with male and female sit animations.

Another item by unKindness is the spooky brigade decor that is leaning up against the wall made for the Autumn Effect Hunt.  You can hunt for it at the main store.

This is a bit of  the rebellious nature I find myself in shining through in this post as I share with you some more items to be found during this month’s round of events.

Both the fringe suede top and skirt by MoDANNA are mesh and found at two different ongoing events right now.   There are several colors for both items and you will also find other styling pieces as well so that you can tailor fit your style.

The other item that I am featuring today is the workbench by (epia) available at this round of The Men’s Department.  While it has single and couple animations I decided to use a different pose as I wanted to make sure that the clothes were highlighted as well.
