You could say that I’ve moved off the fall pictures into winter and it’s certainly another of my favorite seasons to take photos of.  I don’t get snow in real so it’s something that I like to enjoy in Second Life and thankfully there is no shoveling of snow required.

This scene was put together using the newest home release by DaD Designs, available now at District 20.  Below credits is all the details on what you can expect with the purchase of the Woodpecker Cottage.  I’ll be showing the inside in another post, so stay tuned for more.

Just in time for getting your home all decorated for Christmas is the new winter decorations by Dust Bunny at Tannenbaum.  As I was decorating the outside of the home I couldn’t help and chuckle as it brought back memories of doing this in real. It’s been a few years since we’ve done this kind of elaborate outdoor decorating, but there is something quite magical and fun when you drive up at night and your house is all lighted up in an array of Christmas colors.  These decorations are quite awesome and so realistic and fantastic for indoor and outdoor.

I’m also showcasing some new garden chairs by Concept}.  There is a total of 4 chairs in different colors. They each have a land impact of 5, are copy and mod and hold single and couple animations. Available now at Shiny Shabby.

The last item is a new release by Little Branch. The Choke Berry tree is 4 seasons, which means that on a click you get the menu that allows you to choose which season you want your tree.  It’s now available at SaNaRae. Plus I want to mention that Little Branch has reopened it’s in-world store and it’s a pretty awesome build.  Unfortunately, my computer couldn’t handle the sim and it kept freezing when I visited.  If I get a chance to visit again I’ll snap some pictures to show, but take a visit and enjoy the sim and all the wonderful landscape.

The ‘WOODPECKER COTTAGE’ is a beautiful Victorian Cottage perfect for all locations.

The cottage is composed with a large veranda. As you enter the front doors your greeted the Main room which is perfect as your living room. On the sides of the living room there is 2 other rooms with big sliding doors.

Another door to go on little balcony.

The windows of the whole house can be opened and closed which are arranged in different heights to create the most natural look.

Something so great about all DAD DESIGN ‘homes’ is that you can customize your home so easy. All you need to do is find the button that is in the room and touch it. There is over 74 pre-loaded textures and you can change it by each room. Also you can change the color of the exterior walls and the texture of the floors.
